Hey Guys,
i want to introduce another ModRom made by a member of the german „Android-Hilfe“-Forum. I asked him if he wants me to publish it here and he agreed. The first post includes always the newest Version of the CyMod and general information. The second post delivers information about the ModScript. The third contains the older versions of the Cymod.
How it starts:
All starts with a request for a Odin flashable deodexed ROM. Then Cynob the develloper of this ModRom deodexed it and put it back in a *.tar archiv... meanwhile it has become a nearly grown-up ModRom.

here in the forum. Within the *.rar archiv there can be found besides the required *.tar file also ODIN and AriesVE.ops and other needed programs.

What's it all about:
This Modrom is constantly updated. Wishes and new ideas are continously integrated. Only for noobs: A Modrom is based upon a Stockrom with a bunch of modifications which make the system more stabil and more fluid. It also enhances the functional range.

Both files are part of one splitted archive. If you unzip the first file the second will automatically be unziped. They have to be saved in the same directory.
Cynob has created an update.zip file to update the version 0.5-3 to version 0.5-5 via cwm. Just copy the file on the sd-card and install it from recovery menu.

Important remarks:
Since Version 05-5 Scriptmanager, Explorer and busybox are automatically installed after the first boot. If you reach the homescreen enter the menu -> adjustments -> applications -> unknown sources must be checked to allow the installation.
During the deodex-process three application make a little trouble (Maps.apk, Phonesky.apk and VoiceSearch.apk) The error messages could be oppressed, but if there are any other errors in connection with the three mentioned apk's do not hesitate to report it here or directly to the author
To manipulate the cpu's frequencies and the currents use SetCPU or similar programs. Otherwise you can use the delivered OC/UV Beater 2. For more information around SetCPU: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3638937&postcount=1
to enjoy the window-animations and the crt-off please switch all animations on in the adjustment menu.
[NEW] since version 05-3 during the flashing process with ODIN the /data and the /Cache partition will be entirely formated ( full wipe ! -> so be sure to have a backup of your important data)

Information around the ModScript
Instructions for the ModScript:
Flash the firmware
connect the phone to the pc and copy the progs4Mod folder to your sd-card
disconnect the phone and install all apk's out of the folder
Install busybox via busybox installer
After running the script manager for the first time a „remember“ Windows pops up. The widget should also be installed to place it later on the homescreen. It is important to click „browse as root“ so that the whole system is visible. Therefor allow the superuser request and click later on OK.
Now the folder /mnt/sdcard becomes visible on upper left side.
Tip twice on the folder symbol with „..“ to enter the root directory
scroll down to the folder „system“ and choose it by clicking on it
The folder „Modding“ appears below and must be opened as described above
Within this folder „/system/Modding“ you'll see the file „Mod.sh“ marked with a white pencil
Choose it by clicking once on it
a windows should open with adjustment possibilities
Click the little star above „Fav“ and the android-head „SU“ so that the clicked symbols are highlighted – otherwise nothing will work
do not adhere to the other 3 adjustments
Now hit run
What the Modscript is all about:
These are the actual options:
Version 0.5:
create a folder to change bootanimation/bootsound
search a file within /system
change bootanimtaion
change bootsound
change lockscreen
change kernel
add/delete systemprograms
files for the UOT Kitchen > Sdcard
manually tweak your system
themes MOD (still under testing ! -> before you use it be sure to have a backup )
explanation of the different options:
creates the folder „bootanimation2change“ on the Sdcard
In case of a search for a certain term you can choose this point to start the query. All files in the directory „/system“containing the desired term will be listed
the bootanimation.zip which was copied in the bootanimation2change folder will replace the former bootanimation after executing this point. It's unimportant how the *.zip was named.
This point takes a *.wav file which was copied in the above mentioned folder and replaces the former bootsound.
change between AOSP-Lockscreen and the original Samsung Lockscreen (KPU)
Kernels can be changed on the fly. Available kernels: Stock CyMod kernel (FeaCore); Crybert's patched KPU stockkernel to guarantee the compatiblity with the car charging cradle; SkyHigh and Vitaliy
Important data will be secured before a systemprogram will be uninstalled, so that after reinstallation the data can be used again.
All needed files to cook in the UOT kitchen will be provided in a folder on the Sdcard.
within this point media scanning can be switched on/off. It is also possible to give the governors a fine-tuning (for more information see below)
You can create a tar archive by choosing "2 - save Them from system" It can be found under /sdcard/bootanimation2change/backuptheme/ . Beside all the copied programs you'll find the desired file "myTheme.tar". This file should be copied in the following destination sdcard/bootanimation2change/ . From there it could be reinstalled under the menupoint 3.

i use this modrom, its stable and the support is great in the german forum. and it has all what I need.

THIS PORT IS FOR OLD RADIO ONLY
If you are upgrading from 1.0.1/1.0.2, this is a no wipe update, just remember to flash Google Apps after 1.0.3
How to install SuperE 1.0.3
first of all do a NANDROID backup
WIPE everything (data/factory reset, dalvik, battery, rotate) if you come from a different ROM or from SuperD
flash SuperE 1.0.3 .zip file
flash Google apps (optional but strongly suggested)
flash 32A/EBI1 port file
reboot and enjoy SuperE
This port includes 32A specific audio files and is built using SLUB allocator and using more aggressive lowmemorykiller params (I think this let the system to be more responsive)
If you installed the Overclocked and UnderVolted kernel, to check if everything is working well you can
use your setCPU and see if scaling is set to ondemand and Max and Min scaling freq to 576MHz and 122MHz

First boot really fast, less that 4 minutes here on mine...
Google restored all my apps that was installed from the market as coming from another eclair so i just needed backup for non market apps.

If any application which runs the GPS (like Google maps), then stops apn (g3) connection, and not coming back

What is OLD ? 1.x? 2.x? any 3.x version?
does anyone else have a graphical flaw with the power widget? the highlight bar for the "brightness" is slightly higher than the other 4 options for the widget.
that was the only flaw i've found so far, and it was a petty one at that lol. im loving it so far! the thing i liked better about htcclay's rom was that he had a nice looking senseUI notifications bar.
plus this thing is SUPER fast like all the SupderD ROM's were!
oh, and some other inclusions that'd be nice (only cos i was using the Superbad 2.1 ROM by htcclay and found them to be nice features)
- coloured notification logo's
- 3D gallery for pictures
and also with the notifications bar, on SuperD ROM's the black version used to still be white when it was dragged down. is it possible to make it so that the 'drag down' notification bar remains black?

1) WOW...automatic restore of market apps in phone!!! GREAT! (21 apps restored whit syncro) a great convenience, but i tried from the cyano Eclair (..mmm)
2) The rom is fast
3) everything seems to work
4) BUG: The power control widget has the Light icon whit the green bar not allingned (I try to reboot phone)

lol i think the reason you have automatic restore of market apps is due to eclair back up settings enabled from CM5.
I believe before you used CM5, you must have been using a donut rom which do not backup market app.

A2SD will require mods to the boot.img, busybox installing and scripts placing in init.d
I don't really want to maintain this ROM and do things like this unless there is enough interest.

How so? /system is read only and not writeable anyway so it doesn't matter regardless, keeping it deodex'd uses less ram which is better imo.

DeOmega is a rom based on Latest 2.09.405.8. Taken from RUU Files (shipped-roms.com) and repacked with some modifications.

It is mounted not inside /system/sd but outside! /sd-ext
in order to easily support the aufs module in future.

This is (almost) what I've been looking for, currently using a rosie-less MCR r8.

I'm unable to flash this Rom. I am currently using Delite 1.1. Radio 32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2. I have Clockworkmod recovery.
After a full wipe I select the zip file, the process starts but stops almost instantaneously.
Can anybody help?

u might wanna add the link to UOT kitchen , the easiest way to make custom battery mods, bootanimations, icons, overscrolling glow, notification bar mods etc etc...
Hmmm.... UOT is not really a SGS+ / I9001 specific tool... that way I could add 100's of Apps, tools, etc. although I do agree it's great to make mods and therefore I'll add it (so people will be stimulated to make nice stuff!)

I added a tweaks section. Didn't add supercharger as I don't know it (yet!) - is it actually useful? Seems to be universal too...
Difficult decisions - I also want to avoid to become a wiki page nevertheless, this has the advantage you can get updates of new stuff, I guess

stock rom + adrenaline shot + supercharger v6 (512 Balanced -option) = killer combination i wasn't satisfied with adrenaline alone. i haven't tried Thunderbolt though , it contains parts of supercharger script, so i can't compare it to Adrenaline.
don't worry, this index looks great, now that all the important stuff are in 1 place, other threads can even be "unstickied" , this is looking good
p.s. if sakindia manages to patch the kernel as we talked we might get a new mod soon, we'll see if it'll work out ok

Most of users have problem when device ram goes low. SystemUI restarts and then LockScreen appear. At system default systemUI is not forced to stay in ram.
This can do in services.jar with backsmali manager,but that must to edit in every single rom, I just edited script, and temporary fix this problem.
This zip works on all ram from 2.3+ to 5.0+
Also this script speed up device.
As I said this is temporary fix, and systemUI can restarts sometimes.

I do some research and found that the device work better if you disable CPU rendering.
I edited egl.cfg,and make flashable zip.

There has been a massive improvement in the aesthetics and looks of the system UI from the ancient Eclair till Jelly Bean. With improving UI and better graphics the system keeps becoming an resource hog. All android smartphones these days come with a separate GPU to satisfy the graphics rendering needs of the apps these days. However the GPU doesn’t exactly help in rendering of the system UI that means the load falls of the CPU to render the system UI and other system framework.
so here is a Mod that will disable CPU rendering and enable full GPU rendering,which will let you enjoy the true power of your adreno200!
This will decrease your battery life from 10% to 15%

Hi, grat jog bro...:good:
I have decided to test it in my Samsung Galxy Mini Pop Plus (GT-5570i) with Adreno 200, Ginger Cerecilla ROM (GB 2.3.6).
As I flash the GPU zip, I see some errors:
- The boot animation from Cerecilla is not shown in screen. I can hear the sound, but not the video
- The gallery app in ROM does not work any more
- Sygic does not start up
Still testing, but I do not understand this kind of erros. Is it for being GB, or for the ROM, or for the Kernel?

As I flash the GPU zip, I see some errors:
- The boot animation from Cerecilla is not shown in screen. I can hear the sound, but not the video
- The gallery app in ROM does not work any more
- Sygic does not start up
Still testing, but I do not understand this kind of erros. Is it for being GB, or for the ROM, or for the Kernel?

Nobody try it on lollipop, you can be first. an give us feedback.
Make backup first.
All tweaks in systemUI fix + device speed up can use on all roms, I think 90% that that will work. Try and give feedback

Yes, jus that one. I do not know it the zip is OK. Inside there is only one file (egl.cfg) that point to adreno200 lib, but... by defect my ROM has not that lib in the egl folder (only android and hgl libs) For you file to work, the file libGLES_adreno200.so must be in the folder, and not all the roms have it. I will try later the trick, but for now I am involved in other projests.
I will feed back you as I can.

Hmm I think that must to be there. My old galaxy mini have this, galaxy ace have it too, now Lg L7 have that file too.
Maybe is something change in rom that you use.

Just put this on my og Note i717 with kk and the systemui crash on boot is gone and YouTube is now playing at 720p. Great so far. Will update if any issues. Thanks Paget96! Good work

Don't try gpu rendering on Ace, you will get bootloop.
When I have Ace I try everything to enable it.
Please don't flash full gpu rendering.
