I think the flashable file should be such that it can be flashed over any theme without affecting it like turn on effect flashable zip file.

if you want to do it via flash.. go to the uot kitchen(google it).... then select kitchen>bootanimation ...in that choose what you like... then go to summary ... follow their instructions.. after sometime thiey will provide you with a flashable zip...

if you are using cm7 rom then fidn your bootanimation you want... and it will have a bootanimation.zip... paste that in cm7 rom>system>media folder
for non cm7 rom... enable custom bootanimation through kitchen and then put your bootanimation.zip in data>local

Hey Guys, i took our Stock SystemUI.apk and replaced the battery icons with the ones from the 4.3 Update it is working fine
