Hi guys, some minutes ago i flashed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1412618 into my htc sensation and I restart it and now it does infinity loop. I've Revolution HD 3.6.9 and I wanted flash the newest R HD with ICS. Please, help me. I can't use my Sensation
remove the sd card, boot into recovery, insert sd card, mount usb storage to your pc then delete the firmware file.
Your phone won't boot again until you have installed the right rom for the firmware, so load the new rom onto the sd card at the same time and flash it.
1) Remove SD
2) Boot recovery, insert SD, mount USB, delete firmware, unmount USB, clear cache
3) Reboot
I'm on 3.12 running CM7. It will work.

After doing the cid 11111111 and installing the firmware 3.24.401.1 from a gingerbread rom, my phone has gone on bootloop.
And opening Hboot just asks me to update the PG58IMG.zip file..
anyone please, what can I do now? I can't even go to the recovery to restore my backup.
get a SD adapter (or another phone) to connect the memory card to the computer and delete that file
I think that that firmware is only compatible with roms based on that release like ARHD...I might be wrong though..
thank you. I did not think of using another phone .. cause i couldn't find an adapter
Same problem here except I dont have another phone to hand nor do I have an adapter so im basically screwed.
I cant get adb working or anything.
So what can I do now?
I figured that the other ICS roms would atleast boot.
Kinda semi bricked.
just open back take out sdcard, boot into recovery and put sdcard back in then mount usb from recovery and delete it then put new ARHD or Insertcoin and flash!
That worked a treat. Cheers!
The new firmware and rom is snappy as hell, superb.
Phone seems to be getting pretty warm though.

^^This^^ or use adb tools and type 'adb reboot recovery', use your recovery to mount your sd card, and delete pg58img.zip file from your computer. Have to get the command in right when your computer detects your phone.
Hello I've just s-off'd, installed clockwork recovery and rooted my phone, set the supercid.
I was following this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1471941
I have put the PG58IMG.zip, radio file, super wipe and Android revolution ROM files all onto the root of my SD card. I rebooted into Hboot mode and it asked if I wanted to install the update which I said yes to.
Now every time I try to boot the phone it gets to the HTC quietly brilliant logo and then just restarts itself. I can get into HBOOT mode where it just asks me to install the update again.
Can anyone help please?
You have to remove the firmware PG58IMG.zip file from your SD or it will attempt to update everytime you launch the bootloader
just remove your sd card when you boot then after it boots you in hboot put your sd card back in and go to recovery and remove the file
Hi all,
yesterday I came across the question how to update radio without a card reader.
My problem: I put PG88IMG.zip into the root folder of my SD card and reboot into boot loader. PG88IMG is detected and my radio is updated. Now the only option I get is to reboot the phone. But the phone gets stuck in a boot loop, since I have to clean cache&dalvik.
But how to do that now, since I cannot enter recovery (bootloader wants to flash PG88IMG again). What I do in this case: Pull battery, remove SD card, deleted PG88IMG in a card reader, put the SD card back and enter recovery to wipe cache&dalvik.
Is there a better way to do this without pulling the battery and removing SD card?
Thanks for any tipps

Try running "adb reboot recovery", assuming you can get an adb connection during the boot loop.

Hi,
This is my first time flashing so go easy on me
Basically I started with my stock HTC One S, unlocked the bootloader, rooted the handset, then flashed CWM 5.8.3.1 onto it. I mounted the SD Card on my PC, copied the CM10 and GApps ZIPs over to the SD Card then installed them with CWM.
After that the handset wouldn't boot past the HTC screen. I kept installing the ZIPs over and over then whilst I was panicing and clicking everything I could find wiped the Dalvik Cache/factory reset/cache/EVERYTHING. After that point it just would not mount the /sdcard. I managed to get it booting by flashing the boot.img using fastboot. But I still can't access the sdcard.
In JB it just says its safe to remove the sd card permanently. If I try and push anything to it using ADB it says that the volume is write protected.
I have no clue how I can fix this without having to reflash which is a massive pain in the arse.
If anyone has any tips I would really appreciate it!
Did you ever fix this problem? Mine has done the exact same thing! :crying:
Hi I had the same problem,I used the hasoon all in one tool to flash twrp recovery then I adb pushed a rooted stock Rom to system to remount the sdcard (Rom from andrdandy Rom list) then I adb pushed viperone s Rom to the sdcard

if the rom is stock based or Has an HTC bootloader, than the rom is no good.
BUT if S-on is there and you have clockworkmod installed, then you need to manually S-OFF the device
in order to flash the boot.img file in the rom zip. S-OFF can be done manually in clockworkmod as there
is an adb bridge. what happened is you probably left the old kernel installed. that NO IMAGE ZIP is actually
most likely talking about your kernel files (boot.img) If you need tools to manually s-off your device,
message me.
Hit the thanks button if I helped at all.
