Hi everyone, i have 2 problems with my HTC TOuch HD.
the first one is:
when i try to play a recorded video on my PC it doesnt play any sound. By this i mean videos recorded with my HTC. On the phone they play perfectly, but not on my PC... Anyone knows about this? i tried to search similar problems in the forum but with no succes (and i have to admit that im a bad searcher).
The second (problem):
i don't know if this is a problem or not, but it's more like a question. Isn't there any fix for the youtube app? the only way i can enjoy a full screen video on youtube is when im on WiFi (because that is the only moment i change the setting to High Quality)...isn't there any fix that lets you play full screen video's on even when on a 3G band and without having to change the settings to HQ? (when on 3G it takes ages to load)

even i have a lot of problems with htc touch hd...the first one being even though my memory card is installed in the phone...there r no songs in my library of htc music....the second one being when i connect my phone to the pc it doesnt show any sub folders present in the storage card
The Youtube Apps stopped working on my Nexus One. I have the stock rom. I ask my friend to test his and his does not work either. He is using Cyanogen mod 5.0.5. Is anyone else having a problem using the Youtube App? Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

Think you could be a little more specific about the issue? Saying it doesn't work doesn't tell us anything at all.

Sorry about that. When I try to view a video with the youtube app it opens, but nothings plays in the beginning. Sometimes the audio plays, but you see no video. If you skip forward, you will see the video stopped and the audio continues to play. I sometimes receive the error message: "Sorry, this video is not available". I have tried this using wifi and 3G with the same result. This also happens to videos I used to be able to play using the browser. Everything worked fine about a week ago. It seemed to just stop working all of a sudden.
Fine here (UK) on Wifi and as a bonus I just watched the chatroulette piano guy that was featured and it is brilliant so thanks for getting me to test so I could see that

in my experience, that happens when the video isn't formated (or format isn't available) for mobile screen/in mobile format/whatever.
nothing is wrong with the youtube app itself.
My problem with the YouTube app is that it often takes 'forever' to start playing the video! In fact, sometimes it will never start.
Somewhat embarassing when my wife's iPhone 3G can get to the same video and play it immediatly....
Have you tried watching in High Quality instead?
I have the same problem but in a different app, Tubedroid where downloaded videos can't be seen even though I can hear it. Turns out I can't download videos in HD, only high quality.

I hate this also. I pretty much gave up on YouTube which is crazy because you would think Google would support their own software the best.
Yeah, on stock youtube takes foorrrrrever to load up a video, even on a wifi connection. Oddly enough, the version that comes with Modaco's Desire ROM loads 'em up right fast. Weird.

I have an incredible with the skyraider3 Van RC2, everything runs perfectly and i really like it, except im having problems with getting my location when using google maps. I use it alot for work, and not being able to get closer than 2100meters on the map is a problem. Normally i would just say that its a location setting but everything is turned on, gps, standalone, and google location all on... even rebooting, or turning the signal off and back on still does nothing...
could this have anything to do with the raider rom? or is there something im missing??...
next problem is recording 720p video... every time i hit the record button it records for 2 seconds then crashes the phone. I have tried to record in various other formats and they all work besides recording in mpeg 720p. I thought it might be a lack of space on the phone, but regardless of recording to phone or SD it still locks and immediately reboots.
Im going to flash to the RC3 rom this afternoon, hopefully that will fix it, but do you guys have any ideas of why these functions arent working?

hey guys im having an issue recording my phone will record perfect but when I playback the video will freeze during a moment while th audio is still going. I even watched the video on my PC it is also doing so. How can I get rid of this problem should I format my internal storage and put everything back on it? Thanks I am on CM7 7.00
not sure if this has been discussed but i'm running the latest VI ROM and just noticed that when i record in 1080p, longer than 2 minutes, the video file does not save properly resulting in NO playback. Will not play on my computer either. Anything below 2minutes the playback is great.
Is this a problem that a few people are witnessing? I did alter the media_profile and increased the recording bit rate a bit, maybe that's the problem? Any input would help thanks.
