Xfinity Mobile 3.5 APK - Kindle Fire Themes and Apps

Does anyone have the apk file for Xfinity Mobile v3.5? I was able to get version 3.01, but it doesn't have the new features like text messaging.
It's a free app, so it's not pirating.
Thanks for the help.

HERE ya go, I downloaded it to my Galaxy Nexus and then uploaded it to box.com

Thanks airmaxx, but no joy with that link. I get this message:
Oops — this shared file or folder link has been removed.

Here you go.
Any chance you could download the Entertainment Weekly app from the amazon market since it's kindle fire only? (And post it). It's also free.
Thanks. Let me know if the apk works for you. I tested it and it worked for me.

Mike - Thanks that worked!
As for the Entertainment Weekly app, I'm not a subscriber, so I don't know if it will work. Also, I've never backed up an app before. I'm not rooted, so hopefully one of the back up apps will let me do that.
If you know how I can do it, let me know.
Tom

Shouldn't need a subscription to grab the app because it'll ask for your subscriber info at app launch.
*edit*
Shouldn't need root. The Amazon AppStore downloads the APK to your SD Card prior to installation. It's located at /sdcard/Android/data/com.amazon.venezia/cache
Thanks!

Mike:
I'l give it a try.
So, you don't have a Kindle Fire yourself?
Tom

Not yet. Been thinking about it for my wife. I bought the Xoom last March and have been really happy with it... and use the Kindle app (kind of irks me that I don't get all of the free Amazon Prime rentals without actually owning a kindle, but... that's another topic).
Anyways, it seems like a nice product and all. I just can't justify it at the moment since the Xoom does everything I need it to. I just want to try to fiddle with a few of the apps that are locked to the kindle at the moment... for whatever reason.
If you want any other freeware apps that are in the market or otherwise unavailable for the kindle fire, feel free to PM me.

Entertainment Weekly
Mike
Try this

Worked like a charm. I was able to log into my account and see all of the available issues. I downloaded one and it worked just fine... I wonder why they have this locked down to just the kindle fire...
Thanks for your help!

plomaris,
Thanks so much for uploading the Entertainment Weekly apk!
I can now =finally= access EW on my tablet, even though I'm overseas & the Amazon App Store doesn't let me download the app *boo hiss*
So thanks from a very happy camper

Canada Only. TD bank application.

Can anyone upload Tdbank.apk file? I cannot find it in the market.
Look up TD in the search and its the very first one. Let me know if you still have problems.

Still not there. That's why I need a .apk file.
I can still see it in the market, but here you go.

thanks!! looking for it since long..
Thanks, I really appreciate it.
thanks!
Just registered to say thank you for posting this file - TD was blocked from my marketplace as well.
Hi I was hoping someone would be able to post an updated apk of this app.
I'm living in the Philippines and I can't download it from the market, even when I use a market enabler.
Thanks in advance
Is someone able to re-host/upload this .apk again? the above mediafire link doesnt work anymore and my market won't allow me to download it from google play

New Angry Birds with Mighty Eagal

Not sure if this does anyone any good, but if you want it, here is the new Angry Birds featuring in-app purchase of the Mighty Eagle and in-app purchase to remove ads ($1 each I'm told).
Downloaded from the T-Mobile store. It is free, so I am hoping it is ok to post here. LINK
It may not be of any use to non-tmobile people as I'm not sure if the in-app purchases work on other networks. At least it saves TMobile people the trouble of going to the stupid T-Mobile app store webpage (which just says page not found if you are on WiFi... took me forever to guess that was the problem after getting the TXT link).
EDIT: Don't waste your time if you are not T-Mobile... I copied the .apk to my WiFi only tablet and the eagle option is not there at all, it looks just like the one from market. I even installed it twice and verified the version number is the same as my phone (v1.6.3). I haven't tried using market enabler on my tablet to fake TMobile, but that's about all I can think of. Maybe a dev sees this and is willing to hack the APK so all can enjoy the Eagal and feather goals? I'm not going to buy it since I never play on my phone. I sure wish there was a way to play the new stuff on my tablet, even if I had to pay a buck.
EDIT2: Hey, what do you know. Installing MarketEnabler (free in market) and faking T-Mobile actually worked! It now shows the Eagle button. However, when you try to purchase it says: "Device Error, Try restarting phone." (as expected).
i thought u posted the new mighty eagle, nevermind. thanks anyways, works for me i'm on TMOBILE.
Thanks. I couldn't get it to download with the link they sent me even without wifi. It kept saying my phone wasn't compatible (G2). I don't know if it is the MIUI browser that it doesn't recognize or what but it works great with this download.
Not on T-mobile or want Mighty eagle for free then click on this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1727857

Sideload Apps

Will this support Netflix?
Sent from my VS910 4G using XDA App
From what I've read, even thou Amazon is directly competing with Netflix they are interested in having it on the fire. I'm kinda surprised by that. Really thou, Mine is already pre-ordered, hopefully it arrives on the 14th. First thing I will do is try to sideload Netflix, so I wil let you know for certain when I receive it.

According to the engadget review, you can sideload apps. The caveat is that they seem to not work too well.
I can't post the link because apparently I've not posted enough. It's right on their front page though.
Email yourself the dropbox apk, then you can install apk's from your dropbox (or keep emailing yourself apk's to install). Some don't work fully, Market won't at all (darn). You'll have to also check off install 3rd party apps from the device settings.

If you grab netflix from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1076150
You can install that and it's working fine for me, streaming Prince of Persia now. It was stuttering a bit but then stopped after I paused it for a few seconds to catch up with buffering (I think).
Google Apps?
Does someone have the link(s) where we can grab Google apps (Gmaps, Gmail,Gtalk, etc...)?

I think we might have to get these ourselves. The biggest issue that I found was that I couldn't get google maps location services to work, maps loaded but wouldn't find me when I selected to.
Update: Gmail does not work right now (has to do with the account being set). FC
Maps works but no location.
Looks as though sideloading netflix is the only option until the official Netflix app hits the amazon store at some point. Right now it isn't in there -- hulu+ is and works pretty well.

It's there now. I just installed it.
Somebody please sideload ADW or ADW Ex and post the results.
I can confirm Netlifx is in the Amazon AppStore. You have to look for it from the device.
Also, XDA works via sideloading as you can see for those of you that don't want to re-buy the app.

I just tried LauncherPro and ADW - They come up in a list when you hit the home button, but they force close.

I side loaded adwlauncher ex. Works fine except bottom home tray stays active. The amazon fire tray.
Go launcher, facebook app, twitter are all working for me. Of all things, I can't get the USAA app to install.

After installing the google services framework apk from the gapps zip from cyanogens site, i was able to get google books and gmail working - gmail wont auto-check mail atm, but it works. Also, adw ex works for the most part - you have to drag application shortcuts to the homescreen by holding down on them from the drawer, as the popup to add an application seems to be broken.
Also sideloaded dropbox and netflix without issues, as well as beautiful widgets and the animation package for it - latest facebook apk was force-closing on me.
Has anyone gotten google reader? Where can I get gmail? Which gapps should I use? The tiny one?

I downloaded the Netflix app right from the app store on the kindle. Works great!

Your device is not compatible with the version

Running and ICS / CM9 ROM on my Kindle Fire.
"Your device is not compatible with the version" when trying to download Fandango Movies for Tablets from Google Play.
If somebody would post the APK, that would be fantastic!
If somebody would explain why I get this message for this app and other apps on Google, play I would appreciate it. Is it resolution or LCD density? It would be nice of Google to give an explanation of the "not compatible" reason
Thanks!
I don't know this particular forum's rules in regards to posting "free" apks but the reason has something to do with the build.prop file and the fact google play does not recognize the kindle fire as compatible device because "technically" you shouldn't be able to access the Google Play store. A quick google search for "fandango tablet apk" yielded many positive results and you could always side load it until someone else that knows the rules better for this particular section posts and the apk.
I'm pretty sure its OK to post free apks, and yes a search brings up many links for fandango tablet app but they are all links to the play store. I am also interested in this apk if someone can post it.
Good luck with this. I wasted my time finding the APK for HBO Go yesterday, even backtracking versions. At the end of the day, it really wasn't compatible and would not run.
Also running CM9 on the Kindle, for whatever that is worth.

good to know about HBO go, but many apps that say not compatible do work, like NFL for tablets and USA today etc. So its worth a shot.

This is how to get Amazon Prime Video to work on CM12

There have been a few threads on this for the stock ROMs, but in case you're rockin' CM 12 I thought I'd chime in... It's actually pretty simple and worked flawlessly for me. will it work on CM11 ? Honestly, I don't know.
Step 1: Remove any pre-existing Amazon store apps, instant video apps from your device.
Step 2: Go to apkmirror dot com ( note: this is not a warez site to the best of my knowledge ), and look for the amazon area, Grabbing these: com.amazon.avod.thirdpartyclient-1.0-1-minAPI15.apk and com.amazon.mShop.android-5.2.2-502012-minAPI9.apk .
Load them up. Open the amazon instant video app, log in, select your movie and enjoy! Hope you found this useful.
This looks like what I've been looking for but I can't find these files. Suggestions?

Sorry to hear that; this was only to get the movies up and running.
I found an easier way:
Install Amazon App. The one for phones from an app store.
Install Aptoide and install Amazon Instant Video from there. Or Instant Music. In general, an okay app for free apps not available due to device limits.
Login to the Amazon app, then run Prime Video.
Hide the Amazon Mobile app in the launcher. If you need to use Amazon, install the Tablet version.
By the way, I got this to work for me on Cyanogenmod 11. You don't need to uninstall previous Amazon apps either if they're another fork like the Tablet version.
