TouchWiz 4.5 is not an official version. It is a hacked version of the launcher that someone (or a group) put together that should work on any(?) ROM as they put the necessary code in the apk for it. The official version is TouchWiz 4, and my InfinityROM has it available, though some users experience issues with it in certain situations.

Is TW4 the "stock" launcher for infinity?
Yes, TW4 is the stock launcher in Infinity, though I'm unsure which SGSII build/phone it came from.

if you used the one from resurrection, its the tmobile sgs2 one (although theyre all virtually identical, sans the et4g one which doesnt support mms theming out of the box....but that doesnt matter to us as we dont have the sgs2 mms ported anyway so its irrelevant)

yup the apk alone wont work....the framework.jar needs to be modified to accept the changes (and grabbing both files from infinity is a no-go on other roms as framework.jar also holds 1/3 of the reboot options...so if the other rom you are on doesnt use the exact same method as infinity it ll bork your power controls)
the tw4.5 basically addes the the changes back into the apk to get around that, and is thus (mostly) universal on froyo/gingerbread (idk about ics)
however, it wont work with all the tw4/sgs2 widgets/apps...just the ones that are hosted through tw4manger (the apk that is used to keep up to date with the launcher from the team that does)

EDIT: For anyone else that is wondering, the Multitouch keyboard works great after flashing.

everything my friend only thing i havent tested because im nowhere near it is 4g but it turns on and scans so im assuming it works

Great looking ROM. Props to you. As soon as you roll out the next release, Im on board.
Tried this rom when it first came out and loved it.. It has sub folder where you can put ur appsand stuff its pretty cool... The rosie is sexii too lol. Overall this rom is awsome nice work B!!

I used the files from the 1.1 build but its using all evo frameworks not incredible so that may be what your seeing
And I'm hoping your awesome rosie remaps work on here don't see why they shouldn't might create a few myself ill def. Shoot you a link if I come up with any

thos this roam does the loading when you press the drawer button saw another one like this and every single time i wanted to see the apps it would load for 2 seconds or so and really feels weird
This is the version of Swype the ships in the 3.70.651.1 OTA that was just released for the EVO. All I have done is picked it out of the OTA and packaged it up in a signed flashable zip. This way you can get Swype on roms that aren't built on the new OTA base yet, or are AOSP based like CyanogenMod.
I am not responsible if this zip harms your EVO in any way. However, I have tested it on my own and it worked fine.
Mods, please remove this thread if it violates any rules. It was my assumption when posting it that it would be allowed as the EVO is now a licensed device for Swype and this is the official version that ships for it. DO NOT USE THIS ON A PHONE THAT IS NOT AN EVO. IT HASN'T BEEN TESTED AND YOUR PHONE MAY NOT BOOT.

Note: if you had an old version of Swype on your EVO you may get force closes. It just depends on how the old version was installed and whether there are any remnants of it left over. In my case simply uninstalling the beta version was enough for this version to work, however if you have a version from some other source, it may be installed in /system/ and cause problems. And yes, the version you can get from the beta is newer, however this version came WITH the EVO so may have small enhancements for it. That and not everyone has access to the beta, but all EVO's are now licensed to use Swype, so why not use it?

What's to stop anyone with a different phone from downloading the RUU or a 3.70-based ROM and extracting Swype from it? With those available, there's not much point in taking this down.

this sucks that this new ported version from the evo is giving me force closes I had to go back to my other non beta version which is working perfectly!! Can someone look into this and see whats what??
I'm using the Desire HD rom but I can't see how that would be an issue since I've never had a problem before with any swype apk I've installed!!

It does, Swype from the Swype key to sym and the arrows will show up.

You are probably getting force closes because of that old version of Swype that was installed. I can't say I have much experience other than with this version and the beta however.
This is a port of Black Alien by jstine671 found here and my port for the Fascinate found here.
This flashed in CWM. Flashing instructions can be found here.
This has only been tested on Gummy Charge GB. It will probable work on any deodexed EF1F ROM.
Im still working on my other themes but Ginger Bread ROM's are a pain, so its gonna take some time.

yeah those are the icons. you may have to try a different browser on your phone or use your pc. the phone does that stuff sometimes. i will see about crutch.apk for the charge, that should fix the dl problem.
That's definitely a nice theme, but a bit too "alien" for me. hee hee hee.

so im gonna go out on a limb here and assume this isnt happenin with altered beast? i flashed this on alt beast rom and booted up to a plethora of FC's and ADW ex seems to say **** this **** lol and a nifty "physical keyboard suggestion is turned off by default" every 5 seconds. weird....i loved this on my fascinate.....may be a minute to get the same love on my charge. lol keep up the awesome work GM. im rootin for ya!

I don't know if you created this ROM, but if you could create an android theme out of it, I'd try it.
Without working components, it's essentially useless for anything other than a curiosity.
I can always pick up my kid's iPod Touch and see the same thing...

No, a dev, Hitnay, created this for the htc magic. I just ported it. As for the non-working components, they should be able to be fixed quite easy, being that this is CM7 based.
Can your kid's ipod touch install android applications? I think not...
Ice the look but not much working. Flashed gapps over it and got nothing plus the market doesn't work and there are some China letters in there which I don't understand. I will flash again if and when u get some of these things fixed

Get the basics all functional and then work on the eye candy.
I completely took out the camera.apk that is in the zip, and replaced it with the miui camera apk, still like a wierd "negative" affect with the picture. Odd

We are making another update for Honeycomb Launcher. As many of you may know, it suddenly disappeared from the Android Market. But you can thanks Google for that... Anyways, we are going to upload it again because Google didnt like ICS not HCL.
In version V1.7.0.0 the launcher became alot smoother and a whole lot less FC's occured since we rebuilt the launcher. But now we want to make another update and we want to add more features/add ons. Now we are making a standard version and a PLUS version. I know some of you may not like this, but dont worry! HCL standard will remain the same and nothing will be taken out. HCL Plus (+) will have more to it such as add ons. But we are not sure what you all want!
We are wondering what "you" want in it! Such as pre installed apps, more wallpapers, and tweaks...
What do you want us to add? If you want your wallpaper to be in the launcher, just post it here and we will include it with your name so it shows as yours

Smoother home screen previews (I don't like the white)
Different transitions (I used go launcher for a long time because the the cube).
Love something different and unique like spb shell or Regina launcher.
I'm used to opening apps drawer on the bottom of the screen....its hard to reach my thumb to the top
Pinch previews
Unique Widgets?
Any good dark 3d wallpapers.
Ability to pin an app to running apps.

I like it, using a qHD device. The honeycomb digiatal clock is cut off at the date. Is that common?

Ya, but easy fix...
Just long click it then let go. Now drag the resizing handels around to resize.

not stable on galaxy S...always got fc.
i cant delete the icon on home.please moved the bin to the middle...the icon is not arrange correctly.and please improve the setting.
