sooo i have my Samsung Running on the MIUI ROM and i decided to switch the ROM because The battery just wouldnt last very long, i try goin on CWM and it would just get stuck on the Samsung booot up logo, also tried going on with the both volume buttons method and still, so i thought, theres no way i can flash another ROM, so i though the only way to fix this is by using GTG unbrickable software, i did everything and when its about to load up it gets stuck on these yellow letters saying something like install default APK please wait? i ran the program a couple times and still, if theres a way to fix this pleaseeeee help i need my phone

It is possible. Especially during boot loader flash. Mid screw up during Odin or heimdall may potentially cause some issue. Read some of Adam outler's post and you will understand.
Edit: most of what we see posted is really lost recovery, bad flashes or soft brick

Too funny BRO!

Hi, everyone, I've recently HARD BRICKED my Samsung Galaxy MODEL: T959V with T-mobile.
First off, I got pattern locked on my phone, yea I know I'm an idiot, LOL. Next I totally forgot my gmail password so I could not log back into my phone.
So then I next decided to flash back to stock with odin 1.7 and T959UVJFD. tar file from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1047087.
As a result, my phone would boot to the loading screen with the dashed circle and a battery display in the background and thus would not finish booting all the way.
So I figured I would do more research and found that people would try flashing with the Eugene_2E_JK2_Froyo from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...833024&page=49 and after flash back to stock.
After I flashed with the Eugene rom this was when the phone completely died and would not turn on. I tried the take out the battery, holding down and up volume button and plugging into computer method but the computer would not detect it anymore.
Now I don't know what to do. I realized I was flashing with the Galaxy Vibrant kernels with Odin and now, it won't turn on anymore and can't boot into download mode. It is also not being detected my computer when I plug it in. I'ts a blank screen.
Please help.. Thanks, and appreciate it.
Unfortunately, you won't get much sympathy for that. Here's some info for you though.

If you can't do the first thread, try to look for someone who can help you with it.
Other than that, you're SoL.
Good luck.

Normally wouldn't have posted anything, but seeing that no one did and started flaming him, I decided to help.
There's a good handful of people on XDA (maybe more) who are capable of doing what I mentioned to you. You'll have to look for them though. I'm sure they charge a decent fee as well.
There was a thread by raver i think that stated how to unbrick a hard brick

UnBrickable mod is your best option. Read here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1333424
I'd you don't feel comfortable or don't have the tools, I can do it for $30 + shipping (usually $6) send me a PM.

Hello!! I bricked my gs4g, couldn't put it in download mode with the regular bottoms combo, so what I did was:with the phone off push volume bottoms, both in the same time nothing else, then connect your phone with the computer(usb), that gave me download mode

You sound too eager... You used Heimdall One-Click which didn't work... so you did this... then that....
Just use Heimdall One-Click and figure out why it didn't work. What were you previously on when it say you soft bricked and what were you trying to flash to?
Great... Another pointless thread for somebody who wanted to post something then actually read.

LOL my old SR was giving me problems and i never could go back to stock because of the comp not recognizing the the phone. It's under warranty so i got a new 1 and i have to send the old 1 back. i just dont want them to see it had been rooted, which voids out the warranty.
heh, nice.

When i tried to flash the ROM it keeps aborting it.... any other way?
Please don't come here asking how to brick your device.
All the hard bricks I read about were from flashing roms that aren't meant for our device you can also try flashing another device's kernel I guess, could do the trick.

Use jig to force phone to go download mode and use Return to stock, fix soft brick, remember to not check repartition or it really going to brick your phone. Hope you still have a chance to recover it.

And now my Galaxy S2 i727 won't turn on or boot into download mode. I was told getting a jig may fix it but if my phone won't turn on would I be able to use a jig?
Is there any way to make my phone functional again or am I out of luck?
well that was stupid lol. sorry bud you might be able to jtag it but idk good luck
Yeah, you're hard-bricked. A jig would almost certainly be a waste of time and money. Send it to the jtag guy for $50 or buy a new one, maybe try to warranty it out through Sammy if you want to risk them finding out that you'd been flashing and broken the warranty.
Not to rub salt in the wound or anything, but had you paid close attention and read before flashing, you'd have noticed that you were about to flash an SGS2 kernel onto a SR, and riding full-speed on the train to Bricksville.

Not to be an advocate of noobs... i was kinda confused at first too. BUT never took rooting and flashing as a joke so I read and read... took me a week or so before rooting (already reading up on skyrocket and S2 prior to purchase though) and more than 6 months of reading before flashing Embryo 6.
Rooting is the new cool aid... wish some people will quit trying to be cool and really understand what they are doing. Most noobs just wants to brag that they have a custom rom as though it elevates their standing in life. Geeez.
