Hi all.
I've searched and searched, but can't find the original files for the lockscreen slider. (I downloaded a modified one that moved it to the bottom, but I just don't like it!)
The 5 files I need are:
\Windows\LS_LockSlider.png
\Windows\LS_LockSlider_Dwn.png
\Windows\LS_LockSliderLong.png
\Windows\LS_LockSliderLong_Dwn.png
\Windows\LS_LockScene_800x480.cpr
Anyone who hasn't modified their lockscreen will have these files.
Would someone be kind enough to supply me with these?

These are the default files - they don't move the slider down.
Do a search for the files to move it down. you simply copy them into the Windows folder.

Well, either I can use the search tool, find the link, and then post it here for you, or you can use the search tool yourself.

I assumed that if you use these files you would have easy access to the link which we could find them.
Some people in here can be soooo rude, and just put a smiley face at the end. Well my friend good choice not being helpfull. And I ask myself, why did you spent time even replying to me and didnt copy paste the link which you may even have bookmared, no you just had to play smart!

That means you do. You're not getting one my friend. My answer was not rude - you just took it that way.
Please refrain from posting in this thread any more as it's already coming close to losing any real value to other users. It certainly shouldn't be bumped up the list by false and childish accusations.

Just a tip for future - if you're looking for something that isn't specific to the particular phone (like it's a windows feature, for example), it's worth doing the search on all forums, in "xda-developers" forum, not "xda-developers > Leo > Leo themes and applications".
I'm sure there's a post related to this, but I haven't been able to locate the information.

My question is the icon (slider) bar on the phone has a blue background behind the icons and it wont go away. I'm new to making mods to the phone say is there a cab out there to chang this? and or if a file what do I do in order to add it into the phone and update this blue bar. I'd prefer it to be clear and allow my wallpaper to show through it.

Koen-ronse, these forums are littered with you telling people to search for things. You can see that some people are noobies and don't yet know the terminology or even the language, but you persist. I have checked your posts and sure enough about 50% of these relate to you telling people off for not searching. Please stop it. I waste more of my time reading your unhelpful posts like this than those of other people.
Triton 360 - it is not the transparant SLIDER you need to find, it is the transparant CURTAINS. Depending on what Manila you have will depend on what you will need. Check your manila type in the settings tab of your touch flo. Then search for the right one for your phone. If your TouchFLO 3D number starts with 2.0, then you will be able to use the file attached here. You can of course try it anyway, but if you do, be sure to back-up first.

I don't want to demotivate but motivate to search and read. When you give directly a helping link, they stay doing it.

And that's what you'r looking for here, somebody who wants to help you. We don't have to do it, but we like it because this forum is a bit like a hobby for us.
So, we can shoose, saying nothing more or trying to teach you how a forum works. I prefer the last thing... And if somebody like me (the bad one) point you in the right direction, it's not for beeing bad, but for getting a better usefull forum. You can see in my posthistory that it's really multiple times a day that new useless threads were opened...
Normally it's a work for the moderators, but they also have a live and can not be always here, because also them are doing this as a hobby. Be all glad that I don't be one of them or it was the same comment and also closing the thread directly.
I take some time for this post because I can quote him for futur use when I get comments again from not-readers, not-searchers, new-post-openers and silly-question-posters...
If you have really followed my posts, you know that I help a lot when the rules are followed a bit...
And do you know why I can help others? Because I read a lot...

But even with the exact words it's difficult to find the right thread or post if you're searching something. And that was not a problem about 2 years ago. That's started with all the new users now. It takes a little work, but if everybody does a little effort, this forum can be a strong instrument again...
Before htc was only buyed by people who were really interested. Now htc is a more commercial product. People buy it and thereafter they can not work with it. They are not interested, they just want that it works. So they don't read, don't search... They just want an instant solution or link for there problem... Result: 100's questions of the same type... It's really demotivating for people who love there device and want to learn and share knowledge here...
I really hope that mods can do something at that, but i'm afraid it's a hopeless situation. I'm allready happy if I can prevent somebody of opening a second useless thread, even the first one is allready one to much...

If they don't open a useless new thread, but post there question in the right excisting one, you even don't have to open it...

Couple members on this, Topaz XDA underforum, have behaviour like MODs or ADMIN, but them ARE DIDNT THAT...Why this members get mods job ??? You are "members" or "senior members"...dont "moderator" or "administrator"...And if dont will, or if dont know helping oder "younger" members or "newbies" , than please dont reply with "clevering"... But, if something isnt about forum rules, that make "clean" moderators...

dont you think it would be a way more convinient to have a seperate thread or even section for apps? this forum is soooo big (a good thing) and really could use a good reorganizing just my point of view
It´s always nice to have new members with fresh ideas, but as we long time users, I got used to the way it is now, of course some changes would be nice and Admin are working on it, just visit the 1st sections.
So know better the site, use it, contribute and then you´ll have more idea what is really needed to improve.

Don't be angry at me,but threads like that one,even if made with good intentions,are creating a mess. In my opinion.
Yes,that thread looks nice as a start,but sooner or later that thread will have 10,20,50 or 100 pages. So,when i come and wanna look for a program,what should i do. browse through these 100 pages.. or.. search. Well here is a better idea. older members here,created already in the wiki sections for free UNI programs. Why you didnt add them there ? It's all on one page,it has also some space for the description of the app. I contributed there with one app,palringo,not much but if everyone adds one,it will be pretty much complete. instead,we have a new thread/section for programs,one more now making the mess bigger,in my opinion. The way that thread started,it looks pretty much as a small start of something like http://www.freewarepocketpc.net , and there you have all. Same not tested on uni as in your "xda apps" thread. Consider this as a suggestion to try improve the existing database and system,for which,i'm sure,most of the members here think it works perfect. i'm one of them. Orb3000's sticky is perfect. Also,i even think it's great that the rom's are not put there as direct download links,rather as thread links,which is cool cuz i get with that click to remind myself what that rom is about when i see the post #1 from the creator of the rom. A direct DL link in the sticky would be bad,in my opinion. In conclusion,i came here recently as a NOOOOB,i read a lot,searched,learned the system quick,and for me it's perfect,i have no reason at all to ask any questions about anything,cuz really,all is already written and said. All in the wiki and in orb3000's sticky In my opinion

PalDragan - you may be right with this one, or partial right, but theres something in it for sure
I agree with this that direct links is not a great idea and current system is better for ROMs.
About a thread getting bigger and bigger with time, true thats why I've choose to include only 10 apps in one replay so with search peolpe should get better results (if you know what i mean).
About some apps NOT being tested... since there are lots of different roms available its imposible for anyone to test a full compatibility for a device.
Maybe wiki is a better way to do it maybe you have a right, lets other ppl comment on this
Anyway since Xda Apps was started 10 ppl allready find something there for them self and its on like for 3 hours
In the wiki here, the programs are put into some thematic order. It's easier to find what you want. Also, they are all recommended from people who have run them on their Universal (with notes if ROM specific). I like the idea of a screen shot, though.
My apologies, but XDA Apps thread seems to be a semi-useful collection of bits and pieces posted on various freebie sites for the past 5 years or so and serving nothing but the OP's inflated sense of self-importance. Not sure what makes it important enough for everyone here to pay attention or make it sticky, as OP hopes. Someone is power tripping, methinks...

Again this will be true for any new topic because if you serach it someone would have posted something about it in past..again i dont see the thread about ranking of launcher and would not it better if instead of arguing in two posts you would have simply ignore it or would have simply mentioned your top 5 launcher

If you take some time to search through the thread you'd find the answer to this. We don't like having to keep typing out the same thing over and over again because people don't use the search function.. Not trying to be mean or anything it's just annoying to answer the same question over and over..

annoying huh....i searched & can't find the answer, "how to disable the software update prompt note5". for someone with as many posts as you have you probably know right where to look.

Search long enough and you'll find your answer! But don't be so "specific" with the search engine. By looking for the answer to just the "note 5" only you're drastically reducing your chances of finding an answer because usually what works on one, works on another.

you've wasted more of both yours & my time by deflecting to a lengthy search process to me & the op, when you could've posted a link to the answer.
i don't have the time or patience to spend a lot of time, searching to find an answer. to my question.
i frequent this site & others & there's always someone like you who won't provide an answer & recommends more searching.

Apparently you're not very bright at all are you?! I already posted the link above and if you would open your eyes and READ it you would see you're the one wasting time because I posted the damn answer right underneath the OPs question! Like I said it was posted over a month ago and that equals helping! Most of all my post are to help others!! But, us devs that help others can't sit here and hold everyone's hand and walk them through it like a baby we don't have time to be super ridiculously specific because 1 person couldn't figure out where the link was!
