I flash MIUI_ARC_1.11.4_multilanguage_SaOSiN_x07 firmware for lt15i with DoomKernel, all works except baseband, it's not working and IMEI is empty...
My original baseband version is: 8x55A-AABBQDAZM-203028B-17
MIUI do not support my baseband, MIUI baseband version is 8х55A-AAABQQAZM-203028D-56.
When i flash my baseband, in phone settings baseband is UNKNOWN.
When i flash 8х55A-AAABQQAZM-203028D-56, in phone settings baseband is 8х55A-AAABQQAZM-203028D-56. But network still no work and imei is empty.

So I just got the LG O3D from work(its a work phone). Its on my local carrier's GSM network(GCI(Anchorage, AK)). I saw that I would be able to root and unroot using superoneclick but how would I restore recovery after I install CWM or something. I just came from 2 HTC phones (Desire CDMA and Hero CDMA) and I had a hard time restoring the Desire to stock as I didn't have an RUU to use.
In my internal SD I did see a recoverybackup.img is this a stock recovery that I can use to restore? Or would I need to get a recovery from an RUU or OTA? Can I back up the stock recovery from my phone?
This is a little off topic but just like the CDMA phones I had as long as I have my APN for internet and mms I should be able to use any of the custom roms right?

My Xperia Z3 (D6653) got "Baseband Unknow" after i flashed 23.0.1.A.5.77 (customized SG / TH) firmware from 23.1.A.0.690 (Nordic). I've tried to flash another firmware such as 23.0.A.2.93 (India), CM12 nightly etc. but still no luck. I found out that someone have a same issue with Xperia Z2 and they can solve the problem by flashing a modem ZIP file but how i can find a modem ZIP file for D6653? or anyone have any suggestion? thanks for any help
Might have something to do with the fact that you downgraded. Im not very experienced with the Z3 but I have seen such issues with other phones after downgrade, where you had to flash the old bootloader/baseband again.
I have downgraded from custom rom to stock ics 4.0.4 with odin, all work flawlessly except network problem, imei and baseband showing but still not registered on network

Probably because my Xperia L being rooted, every time I try flash 15.3.A.1.17 update, it fails at some point. I strongly suspect that the update comes with a modem update which enables one to use 3G network in US. My phone only setects 2G network in US. However, My friend who has a similar Xperia L and could update to 15.3.A.1.1.7 has a higher baseband version and his phone can catch 3G network in US. Is it possible to flash the modem update only from the 15.3.A.1.17 image?

If you are using flashtool for flashing ROM, then the problem is probably with the version of flashtool. You should use version 0.9.18.4 for Xperia L! because it's not compatible with newer versions.
If it failed again, test Generic versions of the ROM too.
And about your question, I don't recommend to just flash modem, because it's only created for that version of ROM, and it may break your phone or loose cellular and WiFi connection ! Do it at your own risk!
