[Q] Motorola XT301

Hi everybody,
I would like to know if it's possible to install a fresh version of Android 2.1 on the Motorola XT301 ?
This mobile phone is not so common (CDMA network) and the version of Android 2.1 installed is personnalized by the local (chinese) provider.
No specifics information on google.
And apparently, Android firmware is specific to each phone. Is there any generic firmware which could be install ?

[Q] baseband frequency set to USA band 800Mhz on motorola xoom mz601

Hi,
i use a international version of motorola xoom mz601 in india and have updated to android 3.1 and use the latest baseband n_01.83.35p.
after this update the band changed to USA band 800Mhz? i cannot use any network 2G or 3G and the motorola doesn't show any network operators.
i really want to revert back the settings.now how can i downgrade my baseband and what commands i need to execute also i have tried moving to stock 3.0.1 but no change in baseband.
any apk file that would help me change the band?

Please let me know if you already found a solution to your problem as I am facing the exact same issue and I don't see any other option but USA band when Im actually using the European 3G Xoom (MZ601)

Steps for solving your baseband problem
hello bv_abhi, and sorry for making you wait...
here is what exactly you need to do:
1. Reflash you Xoom with the original android 3.0 which is available at Motorola developer zone from here: (developer[dot]motorola[dot]com/products/software/)
2. Now search for the correct ROM for you Xoom. which should be located under "MZ601 - XOOM WITH WI-FI + UMTS" and the then download Build H.6.1-38-9 for Retail Other International and flash it (rad the INSTRUCTIONS carefully)
Note : The issue won't be fixed yet.
3. After flashing back to 3.0, now updated your XOOM to 3.1 via ota.
Note: The device should automatically fixed itself by now
4. You are now good to go so update to 3.2 & Enjoy

Recently i've update my GALAXY S (I9000) to JELLY BEAN 4.1.2 but i want to downgrade to 2.3.6 ginger bread, because jellybean not suppport my network(in paksitan) , only TELENOR SIM's Single found and work, other network ( UFONE, MOBILINK,WARID) signal not found and FM radio also not work, thats way i want to re-install 2.3.6 version.
please some one guide me.

try the i9000 forum.

Have you manually configure the network? Try to manually get the info from internet
OR
search for itweaker from play store. You can get your network information from the internet via wiFi network...

Hi, i have an Galaxy S3 (GTS-I9300) Korean version with built in 4.0.4 ICS Operating System.
I upgraded my S3 to Kitkat version using ROM Manager and guides those links:

Unfortunately, my S3 can not connect to WIFI networks (I'm using TP Link MR3020) after upgrade.
I have tried to input manual proxy (source : http://www.androidorigin.com/android-4-4-kitkat-update-fix-wifi-connect-bug/ but idk how to filder url with my TP Link MR3020) and soft reset my phone but nothing works
Can anyone help me please?

Xoom with adroid 4.0.4

Hi all,
Dont know if anyone is still reading this forum. But i have a huge problem. I have a EU Xoom with 3G capability, MZ601 is the model number.
Now, the problem for me is that it is unrooted and i can not get apps running on it. It has 4.0.4 currently on it. I know that it is possible to get JB running on the tablet, but can not find any active links to download a build.Thanks to anyone who will respond.
