It has been released, a fully functional ICS ROM with practically nothing to give up. Its only compatible for the i9100...how long does a working port usually take to transfer to a sister phone?
Our phone is only similar in name. It will not be ported from an i9000 source. Our hardware is completely different.
It will take ground up coding, which a few have started but not finished. O would love to be wrong and someone find something useful in that build but I doubt it

I'd love to follow whoever is working on a 4.0.x AOSP port or whatever. Is there a place I can follow these efforts? I appreciate that they're going to take a lot more time and effort than, say, going from 2.2 to 2.3, but I'd like to keep tabs on their progress.

woot! maybe all you geniuses can get the ported Éclair camera working now
http://android-developers.blogspot.com/?hl=en
I thought that the actual Android code had to be put into the AOSP before they could do anything with the camera?
Please enlighten me
Firstly people knew this since yesterday notice a couple of rom threads are called 2.1 and secondly no this won't helpto get the camera working as its htc that has the 2.1 drivers. If carlsberg made a useless post, this would be the best useless post in the world
lol! well then i guess we are back to waiting then!

TouchGraph allows you to visualize your Android device usage. It plots out everywhere on the screen you have touched, to an exportable and sharable image. Options include starting at device boot, and displaying the touch. Displaying the touch will visually show all touches as they are done.
Root is NOT required.
Best of all? Its FREE, with a Pro upgrade to include additional features.
Get, and read more about it it here: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.bripts.touchgraph

I see you're using ICS, good to know it's working on that too!
How has everything been working out?
Also, please rate it , 5 stars hopefully!
Any additional comments from anyone else?
Going to be working on developing this out further after exams. Any suggestions?

Few days ago friend called me to help him root his SGSII and change his rom. While searching through some ROMs I bumped to this one, which looks just perfect for me. I would even consider moving back from ICS to GB for it... So, do you think it's possible to port it to NS, and would it be to hard? Any devs?
Thanks

Seems interesting.. Is this some kind of MIUI? Maybe you can try a MIUI rom (plenty of them in development) and that has very much themes.

I know it does look a bit like MIUI, but it ain't. If you look at the pictures, you'll notice some differences from MIUI (for ex power widgets are at top, not at the bottom like MIUI, and it also has TouchWiz...) Of course, if I could find theme that looks like this on MIUI, it would be great...
bump?
Looks similar to LEWA rom

Good job!
Something missing here:
1. Direct switch on the light when opening the app (Much more intuitive.)
2. Change the level of light (Just like HTC original one)
Just released , port from HTC, that‘s amazing , although my phone doesn't have a light

Hi,
years of hard development work has come to this. We are proud to present our latest mod, TYST4K.
ABOUT
Our Teichoscopic Rectiserial Odophone Libeccio Loxophthalmus makes this possible. We've done our research and we have years of experience in screen technology and development. We're currently negotiating with the "big boys" to get our work to wider audience, but you'll get this early because we love XDA and its community! Makes your device's resolution 4K (2160p)!
INSTALLATION
Download our script from attachments and place it in the root of your SD card. Reboot and voilà!
What else can we say? Enjoy your new 4K screen, no need to update your phone for at least a year! Also don't be worried, our technology is so efficient that your phone won't lag at all:good: Next we're going to start developing 8K but until then, be sure to leave a "thanks" if you're currently bragging about this to your friends and they're looking at you amazed!
reserved xD
Nice April fools !!
