Thought I'd share this as it's one of the few I've come across that doesn't give any boxes in the app drawer....

This is the DROID font. Ive had it for some time now and honestly cant remember where i found it.

Thats my fav too and usually revert back to it, it would be perfect if it weren't for the little boxes in the app drawer.

Just a question here. Many of the fonts that can be downloaded from sites like dafont have only one font type in the download. Namely _regular.ttf The droid logo font package i currently have has a font type for every font to be replaced but one. Do you only need to replace the _regular.ttf to change the font on the phone?

The only two I change are DroidSans and DroidSans-Bold, so if you download a font with only one file, duplicate and rename it accordingly.

Swype installation trouble

My swype stopped working last night and I can't get the new one (3.26) to work at all. Please advise.

uninstall current Swype (use romtoolbox app manager)
Goto: beta.swype.com
Sign up
Install through link they email you.

Got swiftkey x for. 10 cents in android market instead, hopefully that works.

I deleted the original "libswypecore.so" in system/lib in order to get the new swype to install and work right when I was on original stock rom.

I could only use the beta, swype has some thing where if you run a rom you have to use the beta. Anyway, i finally just gave up after a few days.

Uninstall swype, delete libswypecore, swype.apk if exists, reboot. Install whichever color here you want(latest beta) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1124639

The "jump list" on the apps page. If you swipe to your app list, and have more than 42 apps you get a jump list like in the contacts/people hub. Click a letter and it pops up so you can navigate to the letter of your choice.

Oh thanks! I had no idea since I have nowhere near 42 apps.

How about you invest some time and don't assume every uses magic glass ball to know what you want.

You want the help, so don't let others do you work, do some research yourself, present others your result and THEN ask your question.

A virus called "Yxes.A" creates a "mr.log" file, though the reports only talk about symbian OS.
You might have a virus...

GOOGLE IT then come back tell us what you found and why it didnt work...

More specifically, the rc and sh files. The first thing I did was Google them, but the results meant nothing to me.

Anyone have any clue what this app is???

Hi all,
I am running the stock OTA JB rom on my Sprint Galaxy Nexus and ran across this app listed in the ALL category under Apps in settings. I have no clue what it is as I never downloaded anything like this. Does anyone know what it could be? It does not show up under "downloaded" or "running" nor do I see it in my Play Store account.
Given the version number, I assume it has something to do with Jelly Bean, but not sure.

I've seen this before. Someware. Don't know what it is though. But what I can tell you is that I think it IME in the name. I know its in another laungage but I've seen it in English some ware.

Im pretty sure it's a Chinese keyboard. Its so familiar.

Try to DELETE it with Root Manager or Titanium Backup! U dont need it because i got it too and i unistalled it.
This program can be some VIRUS or something else BAD!
Its IME (scaner or recognazion i dont know)

If you don't speak an eastern Asian language then there's no point in keeping it.
But no its not a virus since its a system app Google puts in Android, an IME is a keyboard not a scanner.... do your research
