hey guys,
I got asphalt 4 for my beloved hd2. It plays ok in career mode until i get about 30% through. Then the game just crashes. It basically just disappears?
One minute it is racing fine then the game simply stops and i am back to the clock screen on the phone. If i access task manager it no longer shows the game as running?
I have tried chainfires great hd2 driver and that has not resolved the issue. I tried uninstalling the game and installing it direct onto the phone, instead of the storage card, still i get the same thing happen. Sometimes just before it stops you can see a couple of horizontal lines appear where the car is. Also it seems to happen when the car crashes with another car. Maybe too much info for the graphics card?
So does anyone have any ideas? Also i do not know if it is connected or not. However, today also opera browser started doing the same thing?
cheers for any advice/help.
Hello All,
I am new to the android world, so I hope that someone here can help me.
I have just bought a Galaxy Tab 7.7, and while I find the device to be really nice to use, one of the things that I most wanted it for was as a navigation device in the car.
Sadly, I am having problems that it sporadically quits, and then restarts (Navigon quits and restarts... not the tablet).
I have searched on this site, and other sites, and many people have said that I should clear the settings etc.
I have tried this, but sadly it still restarts the application at random intervals.
I thought it might be beacuse I had rooted my device, so I tried "unrooting" my device, but no change.
Does anyone else have this problem? Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.

Im presently running Sygic and Navigon v360 on a "rooted" HTC Inspire. Out of the two Navigon is the most stable. Only a few forced closes, but only when I have been playing with the settings.
First off my advice would be never un-root. Secondly I would re-root uninstall, then search for any reminants of the program and remove. Once done, re-install. You didnt mention what version of Android you are running. If you are using a naughty (torrent) version then you are on your own.
I have been hearing Navigon v.3.6.* was the last stable issue, and many are having problems with 4.1.1.
Is anybody else having the same problem as me:
I can't play Where's My Water unless my Wifi is on.
Meaning I can't play this game offline.
Is there any way to play this offline? I'm going on a road trip this weekend & would love to play this on the road but why is Wifi needed to play this game.
Is this only happening to the Galaxy Tab because I know for a fact that this doesnt happen on my phone.
I have Where's My Water on the Amazon app market since it was a free app of the day at one point. I have turned off Wifi and restarted my Tab and then started the game and it ran with no problems.
What exactly happens when you start the game without wifi on?

"unfortunately, Where's My Water has stopped working."
But with wifi on there is no problem. It plays as it should.
I just want it to play this game offline. I dont have the Amazon version.
Hmm that's really strange as I don't have that problem. I take it you got it off the Play Store then if you haven't gotten it from Amazon.
Even though I know you probably have a decent amount of progress... Have you tried re installing it? As in uninstall it and re install it from the Play Store? I'm not sure what to tell you as I don't have the problem.
Yes, I'm having the same issue!! It's aggravating as HELL! Yes, I reinstalled it and wiped the data also. I hope someone finds a fix for this.
Don't have this problem
I don't seem to be bothered by this issue. Where's my water always works in my GT-P6200][De-Odexed & ZipAligned][DXLC1] rom (with **FROST**BITE**V1.0 theme by the way). Also got it from the Google Play Store.
I don't think online connectivity is needed at all, games from e.g. the Humble Bundle (all offline installs) do work without internet connection.
They are recognized by the Google Play Store, but I can't update them via that way because they're not bought via that channel.
Ihave the same problem, once my wifi doesn't have any connection to the net the application doesnt run, but whenever i have the connection it run smoothly what do you think the cause of this problem
Same problem here
why I cannot play game without wifi
I think it might be checking to validate the app is an authorized purchase from the market on start up. Would be my logical guess at what's happening.
So for offline play you'll need a cracked/pirated apk of the game that you've already purchased.
installed on my rooted GT P6210 where's my water free version from playstore and works fine even without wifi.
I just bought the game a while ago from the market. Very addicting game! I'll try to check later if I have the same problem.
Update ur game.. if,cant doit.. u must be,Uninstall ur old game with the new game. The new game come with, minor bugs..

I`m having this same problem.
I play in my Nexus w/o any problems (with or w/o WIFI)
But i installed it in Tab 2 and there is the same problem. Only working in WIFI ON.
I think there`s a problem with the purchase authentication.. Because i installed directly from my play store...
where's my water only online
Hello,
I am able to play this great game (purchased !) only online. !!
As soon as no WiFi is there the game crashed.
My tablet is a Toshiba AT200 with the update to ICS ( Android V 4.0)
I found in other threats also here that the developers of the Disany game are trying to solve this behavior ofr the next bigger update of "Where's my water".
I will be happy to here more about this solution.

I'm beginning to think this is an ICS Tablet problem. I know for a fact that my ICS phone does not have this problem but the ICS tablet cannot play Where's My Water without Wifi.
Can someone who has Jellybean on their tablet confirm that it does work with Wifi but not working on ICS tablet. That way we can eliminate that the problem is ICS
I've got a nexus 7. It works fine with a wifi connection but crashes if no available network or in aeroplane mode. Same behaviour with Where's my Perry
Same thing happened to me on Nexus 7 running rooted stock jelly bean. Neither where's my water nor where's my Perry would start without WiFi. Now, where's my Perry works fine offline but WMW still crashes.
Was this ever solved?
I have a nook HD+. I have Where's My Water on my nook. I have not been able to play this game for quite a while. It wasn't until I landed on this thread that I even thought about turning on my wifi to play this game. What's up with that???
Hey, everybody! A couple questions since I'm new to the Shield, and this being my first time on the XDA forums in about a year. Pretty refreshing!! I'm a little confused about this issue, because I have Reicast, the Dreamcast emulator, on my Shield and it works flawlessly. Unfortunately, after convincing a friend of mine to get one, he tried to set it up and it keeps crashing. So I set up the emulator just as I did on his Shield. Using the same roms and the exact same BIOS. As soon as he clicks on the game, it goes straight to the home screen. Exact same result as when he tried to set it up himself. On my shield, it goes to the game and works just fine. I've tried both the Play Store and Unofficial versions. Has anyone else had this crash and fixed it? We're both using the KitKat update. The only main difference is that my Shield's bootloader is unlocked and is rooted, though his is not, my Shield was able to use Reicast before-hand so I know that's not the issue.
About Skyrim, when I stream it, it makes a very loud screeching noise when I try to select something in the menu. That's about it for that one, since that's a problem with my Shield, I can try to follow some suggestions and ideas at the moment.
Thanks so much for reading this, if you have, that is!
Hello everyone, one week ago I found RR3 (Real Racing 3) on Play Store and I was very interested in downloading and playing it, so I installed the apk... Started downloading. Two or three minutes passed and I was shocked that it only downloaded 2/3 MBs out of +400 MBs... Decided to leave it some more time but it was just the same, when I took a close look at the downloading screen I observed some green lines progressing then turning yellow and starting all over again, and after nearly 3 consecutive resets it turns red and disappears, or just turns black which gives no meaning for me at all.
After that long introduction, I'm asking if there can be any fix for this issue, knowing that I've been downloading though Wi-Fi all the time, I have 512kbps connection. If any solutions could be serves, would be absolutely appreciated! However, if not, then I would embarrassingly request some kind person to upload 2.4.0's SD Data for me? I know it's pain in butt but I really want to play that game!

I have successfully downloaded the game. The thing is from your Internet. Use a public hotspot or something. For me, I used my school's Wi-Fi.
