Did you try the steps already recommended on that thread? Using odin to flash stock firmware up to DDLF2?

Plz mention the steps that you did before you facing this problem.
Have you tried to root your device?
Then which cf-root you used. Because there are different cf-root for different firmwares flashing a wrong one may land you in trouble. So to understand what happened for the guys to help you. You need to give more details

My gaaxy sl is indian version, it's baseband version DDKP4.
I connect my galaxy sl with odin v1.85, download cf-root version bagaria-09.GT-I9003_PDA.tar from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1351056 and try to flash.
Its shows PASS in the Odin, afterthat it reboot but cannot start normally, it only shows boot logo.
i tried to go recovery mood, but i can't. it only goes in download mood.. plz help me. plz.
tell me what i do in details, coz it my 1st time i tried to root my phone..
Okay. Since you are able to access download mode. So first flash xxkpe stock firmware through Odin. I guess you would be knowing how to do that, if not in this forum it has been mentioned some where in the forum how to do that.
Below I give brief details but if you want detailed ones then Plz check the forum.
Xxkpe :
First you need to partition your device using lanton pit through odi n. Once done you get blank screen remove your battery and then reinsert and then go to download mode.
Then select the corresponding files in odin
MODEM---FILE CONTAINING PHONE
CSC--FILE CONTAINING CSC
PDA--FILE CONTAINING CODE
the other left over for the other file.
Once done then install your stock ddkp4. I would suggest you ddlf2 as it is latest stock one and has some extra features.
Then flash the cf-root universal 14beta fix file through Odin PDA to root the device.
It should be fine then.

my advise.
download ddkp4,and flash with odin.
our universal cfroot is only for GB, i didnt know what version is ddkp4, but GB Is version 2.3 and above.

Hello Everyone
this is my first post in this forum
I have GT I9003 with GB 2.3.6.
I have rooted/flashed (with Odin 1.85) with DDLF2_CFROOT-05-07-2012 earlier and installed SL_i9003_Remics-JB_v3.0. I was able to use the phone after new JB installation. But the explorer was not working as it says beta version expired. so I tried flashing with DDLF2_CFROOT-05-07-2012 again (i am stupid ), after this I could not boot my phone. I am able to go to download mode.
Could you please someone explain/guide me how to re-install SL_i9003_Remics-JB_v3.0 ROM.

If yes, my phone is on GINGERBREAD.DDKP3, So can someone please guide me to the easiest way to Root and then suggest me the best ROMs which i can flash (Hopefully Jellybean if possible).
I know there are many links which are already available, i went though many and totally confused. So requesting you help. Please assist.

I guess both are same phones
Here the link to CF-ROOT which will root your phone -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331253
U can download the file and flash it via odin . Read the instructions on the thread .
Or u can use BAM kernel -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1355675. Flash the universal CF-ROOT from the thread.
After u root it u can download any of the Jellybean or ICS zip files and flash it from recovery.
There are many jellybean roms .
Ports by Lolation are amazing. Supernexus , Jellybam are one the good ones .

Bro just go to development section and find a rom by lolation. All his roms have detailed instructions to flash even if you are in gb.

Bro custom roms have to flash via cwm recovery not odin.
Odin is for flashing stock roms and kernels.
If you do a search in xda for sure you find the way for root every stock rom, all custom roms are rooted.
Just read, theres a lot of treads answering your questions.
