Yeah, it sounds odd, I updated my radio to I9023XXKI1 ever since it's released , but today I see it now is I9020XXKI1, I didn't flash anything, except get in recovery and make my daily bakckup...
However it doesn't appear to effect on my radio communication signal and 2g 3g connection is still as before although I have see some radio dump files in SDcard
Just wanna know why and what's going on...

Agreed. There is no one size fits all radio. For me, the stock radio is the best, for you it may be different.

I've had this issue on multiple different ROMs. I've learned to live with it. It tends to come and go, still annoying though.
Radio 12.54.60.25U_26.09.04.11_M2 has solved echo problems for quite a few people including myself.
The links to the radio and ril files are in my sig. If you want to give it a try

I have tried two different roms Lee Droid and Android Revolution. On both roms I lose my data connection when switching from WiFi to my mobile network. It shows that I have signal however it will not download data.
If I get back on my WiFi it will restore my data connection. I am tmobile in the U.S.

Is there a good list of T-Mobile USA Roms?
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA App
Using a tmobile USA Rom I do not experience connectivity issues as I do when using an Europe Rom. I am currently using eaglebood Rom. It runs well. Not much different than the stock Rom. I will probably go back to stock because I don't see enough of a difference to waste the time customizing everything again.

Hi noob here, I just want to ask if there's a way to improve the sensations antenna reception, I have been having inconsistent signal sometimes people will call me and even if my phone is on they said it goes straight to vm due to low signal specially when my phone is idle for a long time. Hope someone can shed a light to my problem.
Note: I already tried warranty exchange and same thing, tmobile signal in our area is very good.

I've rooted my phone using the Ace Hack Kit a month ago and since then I have been having awful times with my 3G connection. I hardly get it, when I'm lucky I get EDGE, and I'm not even talking about callings that were also affected. I've tried several different Radios and I still didn't get a solution. I'm in Brazil and would like to know if there could be any connection of the rooting to the connection problems.
Thanks A LOT!

The root access has nothing to do with the signal strengh. The issue should be something in the hardware rather than the software. Try cleaning the antenna...
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA App
Now where exactly do I find the antenna? Is there a special technique to clean it?
Thanks again...

The antenna is under the back cover (where the sim card is)....make sure that the metal contacts are ok...just clean it with alcohol and let it dry...
No luck. Still getting bad connection. So there is NO WAY a software change could have caused it? And if it is a hardware problem could it be that a fall or something like it may have caused it?
Once again thanks for the help...

When you flashed a new radio did you also flash its corresponding ril? That could cause some issues. If so I would go back to stock to see if it still persists

Have you tried any other rom other then an MIUI? Might want to give it a shot and see if it helps.
I've already tried MILLION different ROMS... Both Gingerbread and ICS and no success... I'm going nuts with it... =/

Yes that is very possible. If you dropped this phone it could have weakened one of the radio contacts or even possibly damaged a filter cap on the radio circuit. If software isnt changing your results the next logical step is that its hardware related. Also wondering how the 3g coverage is in your area as well.

If you think that is Rom related, go to the ARHD Q&A thread, there you will find answers better than here.

2 things you need:
1. Ask questions in the right area and not overtop of someone else's question. Thats just rude and shows you didnt read or research before asking your question, as i know this has been covered a dozen times.
2. You need the htc sync software on the computer for passthrough to work.
