we have had splashtop HD included with the transformer in the myCloud app since the 3.2.1 update

Well resolver has Splashtop Remote HD v1.1.0.6 pre-installed in my Cloud. it should show up in your installed applications if you hit all. The name will just be Splashtop Remote but the icon will say HD

Nope. I only had the non-HD version installed and I didn't see anything saying that the HD app was already installed. Either way, I was eyeing with purchasing the HD version anyway and the deal was too good to pass.

Ya the one that comes with it is by no means the latest version. I bought the new one and its sooo much better. actual mouse tracking and lights out mode!

Great! Since I've never used it I don't know. Usually I sit at my PC when I need to work so I considered it a waste of energy to work on my tab when the PC is running anyway But with family wanting to spend time with daddy, having a mobile work horse is definitely a bonus!

Where were you able to get a working apk for Zinio? I couldn't find anything on their website about android support. I really want to use their service, but without an app for my TF I just can't get myself to take the plunge.

Well, that just makes me even more excited for the update.
(Just got the tablet end of last week, so I'm still in that hesitant stage before rooting / custom romming her)
It is on the 3.1 that Roach posted.
Did any of you guys used Zinio yet? I would like some feedback...
I used it on the iPad and it was good. Transformer is coming today so I'll post how it works here.

I would greatly appreciate it. I really enjoy me some mags, but it's a pain in my (you know) to keep track of all those print copies, not to mention how much space they take up.
Zinio looks like my solution, I just can't do it without an app for my tf you know? But yeah, if you could post your thoughts I'd be quite grateful.
Yeah it came with the 3.1 update and it works fine although the text has been a bit blurry a couple of times but it seemed to sort itself, there's not a lot of options either its very basic but i love reading my mags subscriptions on my transformer so it does me fine

Well u have to download that they can be viewed offline. Also the zinio version that ships with the 3.1 update no longer works since there is a version on the market the one pre loaded in the tf101 is no longer supported by zinio and doesn't work is now u have two apps in the app drawer which is kinda anoying

That is really annoying. On another note, I kind of wish this app wasn't included in the first place. I have no need / use for it, but don't wish to root the TF, just to remove it. Although, I should admit that I have found most of the other "bloatware" apps that have been included quite useful (Polaris, for example)
Nook app
I've been using the Nook app for magazine reading. Images are sharper than Zinio in the few mags I've tried and the "Article View" is really useful. The only con is that the app is a little slow. Hopefully the 3.1 overclock kernels are not too far away (release the codes Asus, lol).

Chameleon Launcher for All

I don't personally agree that app's currently free in the App Store in "BETA" should be locked to specific users. IF you want the BEST product, you should let as many people test it as possible.
So here you go, Chameleon Launcher for EVERYONE
ROOT REQUIRED
Install Chameleon Launcher Beta via the Play Store.
Run Chameleon Activator, and click Generate
Launch Chameleon Launcher and enjoy updates via app store
Enjoy

As far as I know, there were only a few widget's. I have no access to the official binary(unpatched) but all that was changed was a single byte in the entire app.
Grep'ing the widget catalog smali shows nothing about facebook(checking facebook, fbook, face, book, etc as terms).

It's a beta, I didn't write it, just felt more people should be able to test it. Hopefully the developers will watch the feedback here as well so they know too.
I believe it is not allowed to be posted in such a manner on the Play Store, so the developer is wrong to put it up as a selective beta.

Comparison of Browsers
After while a short time playing with KF, I tried Dolphin, Skyfire and built-in browser of [CM10] Jelly Bean ROM using SGT7 enhancements [Linaro].
My experience is that default built-in browser is quite good, Dolphin has gesture features, Skyfire has video plug-in something.
So, besides what I see above, is there anything outstanding of browser u'r using? plz share with me (us). what's that video plug-in of Skyfire for? I dont like the way Dolphin asks to enter gesture mode, why cant we just use gesture directly when browsing?

theme support
okay, this is probably a stupid question, with an obvious answer, but i'll ask anyway. i just flashed the Jandycane ROM to my Kindle, and everything works wonderfully, however i have no idea where to find a different theme for it. there is a Theme Chooser that was installed with the ROM, but i have no idea what themes are supported, nor where to look for them...and my forum searches have been fruitless, although i'm sure i'm searching for the wrong thing...
can someone point me in the right direction, please?

I designed SickSky for phones and not for tablets. The problem is if I allow it as compatible with tablets on Play, then a lot of people would not be happy with how it runs on a tablet (ie no landscape, no tablet-specific layouts etc). Anyhow it is still in beta for now.
Unfortunately the Play Store says it's incompatible with the HD2.

On-topic: I take it unless otherwise, do you plan to include the ability to create additional homescreens, or is SickSky just a "single screen" deal?

From what I remember Slimbean has a non-standard DPI by default, so you will most likely get compatibility issues with a few apps on Google Play. I have however had quite a few reviews from Galaxy Nexus owners.

It has been a good couple years. For now I am going to focus on building panels to suite most needs. Next up will probably be a shortcuts panel. Not impossible to add widget panels later on, but going to stay clear from that for now since I wouldn't use that myself.

That's cool. When I saw that development ceased on Zeam's Google Play page, I downloaded ADW EX Launcher (I still hold the Zeam apk files). The one feature that these two have that no one else seems to include were the ability to hold a good number of apps in their dock drawers.
