I have myTouch 4g automatically restart,despite stock rom, help me?
More info needed to solve your problem. Is it rooted, when did it start, have you changed anything before it started, have you done a factory reset.

Ever since i got the tmobile ota i dont have the phone app in the app drawer. I tried re installing the ota, turning off and turning back on the phone, and resetting the phone. nothing works. anyway to get it back. I am rooted, if that makes a difference.
Factory reset should get it back.

There is actually a thread around here somewhere with the phone apk. because I had the same problem, tried looking for it so I can post a link but couldn't find it but it is around here somewhere if you don't want to perform a factory reset

I cant seem.to get my data to work on this rom? Used the radio that came with it, tried the stock gingerbread radio and it wouldnt take. Even tried new apn settings. It shows H symbol and im connected but does nothing. Ive done full clear of cash, davlick ,full reset. Nobody seems to have problems with this am i missing something? Im sure its something when i flash another rom after this rom it just screws up my data and i have to mess with apn settings.

Hi, this morning i tried to update my Sensation 4G to ICS via OTA, i downloaded the update an everyting was fine, however when the phone reboots in order to install the update i get a screen with a triange and exclamation mark with the android logo. Does anybody know Why this is happening?

Exact same thing happens to me.
Is it the root that's causing it or is it the bootloader not being stock?
It was told a million times (if not a billion) not to update your rooted phone via OTA
However this issue can be resolved easily - search Developement forum stickies for solution.
If I hit factory reset on a custom Rom will it unroot and freeze my phone up?

No it won't do either, it will wipe your information and pretty much everything that isn't on your sd card. Full wipes are generally required when switching from one Rom to another.

Did you try flashing a ROM from recovery?

Anyway, you need to give us more information to help you! Run a logcat when it boots, flash a different ROM. What ROM were you on? What did you do before it went into the boot loop?
The phone was (s-on ) & Stock ROM. my friend told me that he was just updating some apps. When the phone just got frozen. That's when it happen. He took the battery out to restart the phone but. Nothing just got stuck on my touch 4g screen. :-( :-( I already try recovery & factory reset but nothing :-(

Look at the stickies, both in General and in Q&A. You'll see at least 2 dealing with your situation - "when you think your MT4G is bricked". Please read them, instead of posting here.
