i have an HTC desire S bootloader version 2.00.0002 and its s-on ..
how do i s-off it ?? i searched everywhere and i cant find how ..
please help!!

Good luck with that.
I assume that you already know how to do this.
You must have a custom Recovery for you to flash ROMs initially.
Note: This ROM must be using an UNMODIFIED build.prop and the OFFICIAL boot.img of RUU HTC_EUROPE_2.10.401.5

If you are S-OFF with HBOOT 2.00.0002 then you can simply flash a custom recovery and then flash the latest su-3.0.xxx.zip to root your current ROM. No need to to the HTCDEV.com unlock method.
You can follow the steps in this procedure since you have S-OFF:

It depends on the HBOOT version and this is especially true with 2.00.0002. First you need to make sure you have the latest version that supports zergRush exploit. Even then some users with 2.00.0002 have had luck while others haven't.

hi all , im a noob in android rooting !!
i some how managed to unlock my bootloader but still its showing s-on !!
i actually dont want to install custom roms and stuff i just want to uninstall the custom installed apps that fills up my memory !!
this is what i get :

take a look at htcdev.com
you have to create an account here, and then just follow the tutorial "Unlock bootloader"
this way you will S-off your phone officially!

unlocking bootloader from the htc dev will unlock the bootloader of the device..
but it wont be S-OFF'd.
a lot more has to be done to S-OFF the device.

hi,
if your hboot version is 1.27 or higher you have 2 ways:
1)via htvdev unlock method
http://htcdev.com/ which unlocks your bootloader or
2)using S-OFF guide from general section.see here

if you have then 1.17-1.18 you have to use revolutionary.io method to S-OFF your device

i was wondering if there was anyone who could help me with unlocking the bootloader and rooting my HTC One mini running android 4.3 and HTC Sense 5.5. Its an unlocked model from the UK. Im kind of new to this and was very confused and so am hoping someone here could give me or link me to a tutorial to do these things. If there is a similar post then i apologise for making another one.

Unlock your bootloader at htcdev.com. Then flash the twrp 2.6 and install the root if you want. You get a option to. Then if you want to s-off use the revone method or the rumrunner. I prefer the revone.

Hello there, Thanks for they reply! How do I flash twrp 2.6 and how do I install the root? I think I have seen tutorials for s-off so i'll be ok with that.

After you unlock bootloader, you can just google or search on the fourums on how to install twrp using cmd if you have windows.
