Unicode messaging - Motorola Triumph

Hello everyone,
I wonder if you could help me with this one.
A friend of mine has a Motorola Triumph and he wants to send messages in Unicode.
When he sends a message in another alphabet (Cyrillic) all the addressee gets is some strange symbols.
CM7-TG-Reloaded ROM is installed, dated 21 January 2012, but there doesn't seems to be a way to turn Unicode messaging on.
This setting seems to be omitted in the original ROM as well.
Is there any application that could solve the problem?
Thank you in advance!

SMS error 'The contents of this message cannot be dispalyed'

Hi All
I am running the qtek rom at the moment on an M600 (orange) and have had a few sms's recently that just say 'the contents of this message cannot be displayed'
Anyone know whats causing this?
Thanks
JD
From whom these SMS are coming?
Ooops. Never heard about that before. Can you tell if the sender is someone you know.
My guess would be an eventual incompatibility with the sender's system. Commercial spam sms? or sms sent from a Website?
A character your M600 can not interpret and display?
Qtek ROM is the last to analyze. I've used it for months with no problem.
I got the same problem, not on QTEK, but on my SAMSUNG verizon I730, I upgrade it from wm2003se to WM5 recently, so, I am sure that when someone send to me a message contain UNICODE or certain Chinese characters, I got the "Contents cannot be displayed". When use wm2003se, it works fine. After install a little trick, I even can write Chinese or receive Chinese SMS.

SMS coding

Hi
I'm having a problem with android 4.0.4. I'm portuguese and when I send text messages with special characters like ã or ^^ or ç, the other phones receive this with strange characters.
I discovered this happens because of the sms codification used by my phone. Is there anyway to change this?
It only happens with this smartphone..
Thanks.

[Q] merging multiple sms for the recipient to receive as one message

Hello there. At&t user here. I have been using at&t for a while and can't switch carriers, and was wondering if anyone could solve this dilemma for me. Using a nexus s, cyanogenmod.
I need long messages to get merged to one message for the recipient, which would probably best be suited by having them converted to mms.
I was wondering if anyone knows an app that can do this.
Handcent for example, merges them into one and converts to mms, but it needs the sms to be at least 3 sms's long before it does that, so that ones that are between 160-320 characters still get split. I know that gosms doesn't allow this either. This is work-related, so if anyone could help me I would be forever thankful.

[Q] Sending SMS in Hebrew does not work

Hi there,
I am trying to send sms in Hebrew in my moto g , kitkat and it does not work (The os is in full Hebrew from Google).
when i am writing a text in Hebrew and sending it , the message appears to be empty (and the recipient getting an empty message).
In my previous galaxy 2 there was a setting under SMS->settings to change the sending mode to auto that fixed this issue.
I can't find this settings in the new hangout.
Thanks,
Update:
At the moment , the only way to overcome the problem is just installing a third party sms app.
It is a bit silly that google merged the sms and hangouts all together and removed the access to the setting to resolve it...
I have installed chompsms from the play store
If anyone has a way to solve it with the built in apps , I would appreciate it.
Thanks
