I am getting great results. I have setcpu installed with just screenoff profile set at 245/245 at 100% priority.
Netarchy universal 4.1.9.1 works great with this as well.

This looks nice, will flash when I get home. Has anyone noticed that on all the roms with that launcher, the phone button isn't level with the others? Just something I saw

My other prob from previous build w this rosie was that when u hold down an app to move over to a different screen the words on the bottom get mixed in w other words.. kinda weird lol, not huge for me cause it doesnt affect my phones ability to operate but it does look goofy haha.. I love the outline of the app folders and stuff.. wish that was w every rosie

I will flash it again when I get home and let you know. I have been running since yesterday and am sitting at 335mb internal. That is after I have installed some other personal stuff.
Update on battery....I have been unplugged for 11hrs and 13min and am sitting at 81%.
That is with Netarchy's Universal 4.1.9.1 and ScreenOff Profile set in SetCPU.
Please let me know battery results so I can determine what to cook in the next update.

I came over from the Samsung Captivate so I am a little more familiar with Touchwiz. Sense is a whole new bag for me.
I noticed that much like what we had over on the captivate forums, most roms are built for a similar device and ported over via scripts and addons to make it inspire. I loved what Juicy was starting up with a ROM built for the inspire/canadian DHD. I wanted to take that a little further and make it more exclusively for the inspire.
I have gone through and compiled what I think are the best addons/improvements for the inspire roms and applied it to stock sense 2.1 (sense 3.0 still feels laggy to me after a few days, and ram usage is insane)
I did this for me and wanted to share it with all of you. Nothing more.

touchwiz is so deeply rooted into the touchwiz framework and reliant on many samsung only drivers. i dont see sense and touchwiz living together too well.
i might consider that as a side project, but doubtful it will ever get off the ground.
I have been running RumRunner since about 3 o'clock this morning. no issues with installation, gps was slow at first to get a lock, but working well now. cannot test wifi until I get home. A few fc's at first with tweetcaster and XDA app, but after uninstalling and reinstalling no problem since. And yes, I did do a full wipe lol.

sorry, i do not use those apps. i will look into it.
oh and battery life seems pretty good to me so far. Did not flash at full charge, battery was it 97 percent after flash, and 61 sms and 10 phon calls later currently at 81 percent. not scientific but it works for me

It disturbs me when Cooks call their rom Non Sense or Sense Less, yet they still leave at least 1 Sense item in the Rom. If you were willing to recook your ROM without the sense lock screen I would be willing to give you a mirror off my colocated server.

I personally love double shot screen lock a lot more then the AOSP one, and the HTC Sensation (3.0) one.
Reason being, its simple, I don't need apps on my locks screen. I don't see the point of it, I might as well not have a lock screen if I'm always needing to access my apps.
This is of course a personal thing, but its slightly a gimmick, I just want to slide unlock and call it good. If the feature was there, I wouldn't complain, but I'm not begging to have it either.
Also to note, I much prefer this stripped down version of sense a lot more than the full blown version. Its faster and does not slow down over time like I have noticed with the full version. Downloadable themes would be nice though.
And while I'm at it, I don't like how many shortcuts are on this phone to do the exact same things, like the notification bar Quick Settings, and the Personalize menu. Too many routes to get to the same places.

In all honesty thanks for developing and getting the community open to roms. Love to check xda and not see a bunch of "when are we getting roms" threads.

Sorry I didn't mean to rub anyone the wrong way.
I thought cooks were anyone who puts together custom roms. I am just not a fan of The sense 3.0 lock screen, that is it. If you were to make your Rom without the Sense lock screen then maybe offer a CWM update for just the lock screen for people who want that, I think your ROM would cater to everyone. And while I'm at it, I don't like how many shortcuts are on this phone to do the exact same things, like the notification bar Quick Settings, and the Personalize menu. Too many routes to get to the same places.

There's a reason they're called shortcuts. Because they take fewer steps to get there. If I get an email its quicker to slide a gmail icon and get there than unlock then go into apps and open gmail. Same with the quick settings. If I want to turn on wifi its just much faster than hitting menu then settings the wireless settings. I always thought that shortcuts were self-explanatory as to why they exist.
Oh got ya. No cooks are people who take people roms throw them in Rom kitchen and do little mods. Dont get me wrong this is cooked but there are compiled parts as well so i guess u can call it half baked.

flashed it, could only get back to you now (wanted to mess around with it a little bit). it doesn't wanna sync my contacts from google, and gapps process keeps closing. don't know what to make of that lol.
love the launcher though.
I like the lock ring, and am interested in hearing others feedback about this rom. Thanks for putting it out there, I still haven't mustered the courage to s-off and root my phone.

I'm 99% sure that if you use root explorer to remove HTCLockscreen.apk from the system/apps folder it'll revert to the stock android lockscreen. Problem solved! You can download this ROM and delete the HTCLockscreen apk and you'll be golden.
I too like the lock ring. I find the sensation's lock ring with shortcuts to be kind of gimmicy to be honest.
Is this a true Sense-less rom? I installed Tasteless Venom, and while I love it, when trying to connect a Wii controller to it, it still says the phone is running HTC Sense, so it won't work.
I'm a heavy gamer and emulator user (major reason why I got the phone ), and being able to connect a Wii controller or PS3 Controller is a MAJOR thing for me..
No this still is a sense based rom. He just deleted some sense apk's.

Same problem here with the gapps FC, did you get it resolved. tried redoing everything 2x. I might get VTLlauncher and try that on here.
I've been spending a lot of time on the forums, working with anything, and everything, related to my Epic. Currently I've been working on creating a highly customized EH17 ROM.

Future Work
Adding hacked Sprint Hotspot. (Was not working on top of the EH17 TW4.)
Working on stability with random reboots. I've been reading EH17 might be running slightly too low voltage in standby.
Packaging all these mods together for easy installation.
Figuring out how to save all my settings, so I don't have to redo them every time. (Though, I'm very quick and accurate by now.)
What I would do, is use the UOT kitchen for the battery mod, then do a diff of the uncompiled frameworks to learn what was done...

I'll look into that UOT tonight. I appreciate the help. I managed to get everything working together, minus battery, by the time I went to bed. I just decided to start from the TW4 ready ROM and carefully add the mods wiping cache and dalvik each time. I'll post credit when I'm home from work. These forums have taught me so much. Love XDA and all the developers.

Goals
I like clean roms that are optimized, no theme, or themed extremely well that it looks stock, and lightweight because I don't use a lot of apps. I am building it so you do have options and can restore apps if you so choose. I like having latest updates and sometimes experimental builds. So If it doesn't work correctly, I'll try to fix it if it is something major or bothering me. Hopefully this rom will bring the life back into your G2x.
