English Premier League: EPL App?!!

hi all,
i was wondering if there is an EPL App? Live scores, updates etc
anybody???
thanks
You would think there would be a live score app by now, but no.
Anyway, you can try using http://iphone.livescore.com from Opera. Not 100% perfect, but it works.
Yep, having my mates stick their flashy iPhone Sky Sports app in my face all the time is getting annoying!
Here is a good one, I use.
FotMob 3.0

Yea this is the only other thing I want on my phone Shame there are no graphically nice apps for this.
I second that !!!
This is chargeable (ok only a fiver for the year) and if I'm gonna pay I want it to look good like the iPhone ones...
I love my HD2 and more and more apps are looking better and better but even the crap ones on iPhone look polished!
wish I could code well enough to write one ...

Totally Agree
Viigo for WM.
Not as aesthetically pleasing as most, and doesn't give very much info about the matches, but its free.
Not very hard to get it customized to what you want to have on there - League Standings, Completed games scores, Live Scores, League schedule.
You can also put links to ur fave teams for updates about injuries, interviews with players/managers etc.
Can't show link as i'm a new member but just search Viiigo for windows mobile on google. You can download it straight from the windows mobile website free.
I use TeamStats.

Ive used team stats for a while, and while it does exactly what its supposed to, it looks like total crap! My boss, a few of my mates and my GF's Dad all have iphones with the sky sports app and theirs not only gives them all the info they need but it also looks nice too.
Why do we never see things like this for our much better in every way devices?
I personally would love a Sky Sports Score Centre App. To be perfectly honest, Sky Sports Score Centre is the only thing i envy Iphone users for.
I have in the past sent numerous emails to certain email addresses within the Sky Sports and Sky company asking if it is in development and its ETA, and if not, requesting a WM Skysports Score Centre App, but have never once received a reply about it.
Unfortunately, to me this suggests no Sky Sports Score Centre for us :-( Ofc, this is just my opinion based around the fact I have sent 20+ emails querying it and never having received a reply about it so I may be wrong.

this would be awesome...can't someone port it from the iphone app?
if i had a slight bit of know how i would do it lol
Yeh same. I don't know if it is that simple though.
There are other things out there such as tvcatchup.com Iphone App which i'm sure someone would have just done the same with that rather than having to ask TV catch up to make us a specific app if it was a simple job.
Sent another email to Sky today... to which i got a reply!! An automated response saying they would get back to me soon... Maybe we will have a final answer soon as to whether we will get Sky Sports Score Centre
Just heard back from Sky about a WM App for Sky Sports Score Centre and unfortunately doesn't currently look good for us getting an app like that of the Iphone. Boooo to Sky
Dear Mr Timms
Thank you for your email regarding Sky Mobile TV
At this time there has not been any speculation that an App for a Windows based mobile is being designed and if there was we would not be able to comment until an official release launch had be made.
I trust this information assists, however, should you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact our team on the above email address.
Kind regards
Jamie

Android equivalent to apples star walk

Can anyone recommend an equivalent app that works for the xoom.
My 3 year old son loves star walk on my iphone, mainly the planets being able to get nice detailed image. The 3D srolling planet and being able to pinch zoom. He's a bright lad and sussed the app out so would love something to put on my xoom to let him play with.
I know there is another app that apple featured on their ipad commercial but haven't seen it, nor can I remember its name to search for android equivilant.
If there is an app that springs to mind but not avalible for honeycomb i've got a dell streak to try it out on and wait for the HC update.

The closest I have found is Star Chart. Still not as good as Star Walk though. But coming along nicely.

Thanks for the recommendation, tried the app but felt let down, very unpolished and not enough images of the planets for my sons liking.
Anyone else recommend anything?

Try Google Sky Map

Aww, thanks We're glad your kid plays with Star Walk, it's always so nice to hear! As we have so many requests on Star Walk for Android, we might consider this thing))
sounds good to me

I'll by it for the reason alone that there is a developer actively interacting with their (potential) consumer base. All too often developers ignore potential markets and opportunities to attract new customers.

So this answer was posted a year ago. Really there is nothing even close to Star Walk for androids out there. Is there a chance you guys are working on this?

my vote as well! We need this app for android!
another +1 here!
There is a very good "SkySafari" app.
I wrote a request to VITO Technology for an Android version of their Star Walk, but no reply.
Star Chart is something similar but Star Walks is totally complete. I wonder how is it possible that some apps still not find place in the Android world.
Please.... People need this app "star walker" on their Android phones.
So... I would add my vote to the others and give this thread a refresh.

Request: World Maths Day

I am looking for a favour from a kind Samsung user.
World maths day is on 8th March. An android app had been made but for some reason is only on SamsungApps.
I would love to play it on my phone or tablet.
Would anybody be able to download this app and then upload the apk. It is a free app so hopefully isn't against any rules.
I did put this in another Samsung section but it may have been the wrong one.
Thank you for any help
Anyone?
Nearly a week away. Would be brill for pupils at my school

Call to Arms for Isotope244 Fans

Hey guys, not sure if anyone here migrated from Windows Mobile (as I did) or from iOS but there is this fantastic RTS developer called Isotope244 famous for their Machines at War series (Land Sea Air Warfare for those iOS people, technically MaW2) is now at work on Machines at War 3 and so far we're still not seeing any Android love. But, if you look back to an old Twitter question asked last year Isotope244 did seem interested in possibly branching out into Android. I think they haven't seen much interest in Android ports from their fans but I just contacted them on Facebook asking for support and I hope others will as well; who knows, we might have our first truly solid RTS on Android.

So that means 1337likes for port or?

Android & iOS game to cure cancer

The game was developed during a 48-hour Cancer Research UK Game Jam, where programmers and designers from Amazon, Facebook, Google, City University, Omnisoft and the charity itself combined to create, from scratch, a mobile app that is fun to play yet uses methods for you to aid research directly. The space flight game devised uses actual gene data as backdrops of a fictitious material that must be collected.
Please download the app and save lives.

What a great idea!
What a great idea. I wish I heard about this sooner and wish that I didn't hear about it through here but on television. My friend's mother just recently died of cancer and wish there were more solutions.
I hope this is true... downloading
