I would like to know if it is possible to run/install/flash winmo 6.5 to an HTC rhyme or sensation? The reason is I currently have very very important software that I use that only runs/installs in a winmo 6.5 device.
If the answer is no then, is there a way to make a winmo 6.5 software run in android? Like an emulator or something?
Thanks in advance.
Thats an interesting question. Wish i had an amswer for you.
sent from my Sensation on CM7 Alpha#10
Thanks for the answer.
What about wine in linux? Android is a linux type os right?
Another reason to vote for a Rhyme forum.

Simple answer is not to both. There are legal issues putting WM on a non WM device

I have an HTC touch one of the originals. 128MB ram. This phone is from alltel before they were bought. Anyways I have a few questions. First is, is there an android software to replace the windows mobile software? If not, is there something I can or some sort of OS to replace the windows mobile? Third, is there anyway that I can download windows mobile software if the new software is not to my liking? I know I am asking alot, but i am new to "cracking" a phone if you will and I am trying to learn. I am trying to rid my life of windows as much as possible. Any help is much appreciated. I thank anyone that can and is willing to help.
Welcome aboard,
I don´t think it´s possible to install Android, but you can upgrade your WM version to the newest 6.5 or 6.5.1 and install many apps.

Also you can visit marketplace section and perhaps do a trade for an Android device.
Good luck,
Hi,
is it possible? Or too slow? Is there any guys planing to go win7?
No way, man. Our "little" universal is too old for the new os...
As stated above no WP7 for Universal, the only device capable of running WP7 is hTC Leo
Said that thread closed
If you need me to re open it PM me.
or all the future windows based phones will run wp7?

All future devices will be based on Wp7, as Microsoft does not seem to be interested in the past
Long live to Windows Mobile!!
I don´t think we will see another new hTC with WM but it is far away for being dead!
It depends a lot on Devs, Chefs and us users to keep it alive!
Who knows, perhpas in the future you can have a newr hTC device but capable of running WP7/WM/Android
Leo is getting closer!!

sounds cool ...
its definitely sad to see that winmo's development has been stopped. If htc won't make any new winmo-based phones, then there won't be any new version of sense, along with new user-interfaces for other htc's applications.
so sad ...
thanks for the replies
Does anyone know about there will come a version of wp7 for the leo?
If yes when?
Thx. people
very likely never
I take it you're new so if you wanna know why, there are dozens of threads about it
Can you give me a link, cause i can't find it... thx man
Look in hte HD2 section
not sure if this has already been asked, if it has i apologise.

is there many differences between the two versions?
thanks
I'm pretty sure it's possible. How? That's something you'll have to look up.
Here's a starter:
