Thanks for this
We will provide it in the next update for ICS
The developer is looking for name suggestions. I've suggested Jazz, because:
Jazz evokes something "cool", like the app and its aesthetics.
Jazz is customisable: in fact, it relies on improvisation by the players and reflects their personality. The developer of this app has done lots of effort in the same direction of customisability. Heck, even its source code can be changed!
Jazz is flexible: due to the ease of improvisation, it can be played solo, in combos, big bands... The same goes for an app which allows you to fulfill purposes as different as buying stuff from the Market, sharing music with your homies, playing music in parties...

Since current ICS ROMs are still buggy, I'm quite hesitant on using em, but this app looks really tempting. Its a pity this is on ICS only, which means that I can't use it for now. :/

All credits go to lastword112 who figured out the way to get the new update from the Market. Thanks a lot for the original thread.
Now, I give you the bare apk file, install as a normal application.
DOWNLOAD
* It can also be installed along with the older version that came with the phone, it will not replace it.
If you prefer to get the app yourself, directly from the Market, you need to install the app Market Access
(unless you live in Sweden, in which case, this thread is not that useful to you to begin with )
Launch Market Access and set custom country code: 24003.
Then open Market and search for "trackid".
ENJOY!!!

Finally TrackID that's work on MIUI.
Thank you! old trackid wouldnt work on miui, this does
TrackID is so much better than soundhound & shazam imo
Mirror and more screenshots (in Dutch)! TrackID has always been better than Shazam and Soundhound. It uses the HUGE Gracenote database. Why doesn't anyone else use that database? Because Sony owns it
http://www.ambroosvaes.be/com.sonyericsson.trackid.apk
Thanks for this.
For some reason I wasn't able to get the default SE TrackID to work on Wolfs ROM, despite flashing in xrecovery and installing the apk.
This however, works great. (Looks great too!)
thanks
Thanks
I noticed I can see my dock on my home screen through the transparent part of this app. I've never noticed this with any transparent apps before (and I'm on T.E.A.M so there's plenty of transparency ), is the dock meant to be seen?
Thanks again.

Minimum. It takes small slice of ~15% of cpu processing when running, and pauses when not being displayed like most live wallpapers.

It's using rederscript, only available in honeycomb and above, just like all live wallpapers in these android releases. I guess your SGS2 will get ICS soon.
I have been testing it with a SGS1 with a custom ics rom. There are some limitations with renderscript that makes me consider rewriting the wallpaper to use more standard API's.
Finally releasing a new version that increases compatibility.

This is something I knocked up quite a while back for my own use. Please note the 4x4 widget does NOT have the spectrum or lyrics (as those are coded in the gadget in MIUI Home). Rather, it is basically the stock music widget but resized and made to be a fair look-a-like. At any rate, it's better than no 4x4 widget (note the launcher in the screenshots is setup 5x4).

Should support Android >=1.6, I imagine HDPI devices only, and work in any launcher. Basically anyone who could run the original MIUI Music Player. Please note that I am releasing this mainly because I thought someone might find it useful, and can do a better job and actually support it. Adding a 4x4 widget to the v4 music player is just as easy (should be exactly the same process), so hopefully someone can use this and do that. There won't be any follow up releases to this, but I hope some people like it. Thanks.
If you already have MIUI Music installed, you may need to uninstall it before installing this one so you don't have problems due to changes in the signature.

It should work on earlier ones (I checked the manifest before posting to make sure)
Do you already have MIUI Music installed? As this may (probably is) be signed with a different key, so you'll have to uninstall the original first. If that the case I'll make a note of it on the post.
I've used this on Gingerbread so it definitely isn't 4.0+ (According to the manifest it need sdkversion 4, hence 1.6).
Edit: Added mediafire link on main post, try downloading again, as it was corrupt download every time from the attachment for me.
It works now Thanks!

Hi guys,
Been working on learning Java and the Android SDK for a while now. Decided to put my learning project online: Saving Made Simple. Check out the screenshots to get a sense of the app:

Please visit the Play Store and download it for free. If you like it, please leaving me a rating. If it crashes (fingers crossed), please send me a bug report. I am an active dev who's hobby it is to improve my apps daily, I look forward to your reviews.
Thanks!
Its a neat idea, but none of those reviews strike me as legit. Especially the one from "Autom8r".

Haha, the one from Autom8r is me, of course, I gotta plug my own app. The rest, are legit.
But regardless, do YOU like it? What could I do better?

I like the idea and the UI a lot with one exception: the 'Edit Savings Plan' screenshot displays both icons ('Accept' and 'Cancel') on a hard-to-read, definitely 'do not click here!' red background.
Also, both icons seem to "weigh" the same, when one of them ('Accept') should be a call to action type (you can create subtle call to action buttons by increasing their contrast)

I started working last couple of weeks on a total modern Holo redesign to the current Last.fm Android app. I redesigned almost all the screen though it is still a work in progress. Let me know what do you think.

Winamp support?
Hello,
I'm using Winamp v1.4.9 and your version of Last.FM doesn't scrobble while the original one does, any ideas?
I tested with other players like Play Music and the stock Music Player of my Samsung Galaxy S3 (stock rom 4.1.2) and they both work fine.
Anyway, great redesing, Last.FM should hire you as their developer :good:

I really appreciate you take the time to post your feedback. I did open a ticket on the project page on Github (github.com/MostafaGazar/lastfm-android/issues/1)
AW: Last.fm app redsigned to follow Holo design guidelines
This app looks great!
One small issue: under the event tab the scroll area for the different dates seems to be really small. I hope my screenshots help to explain what I mean.
Thank you for this app! I think this will replace the standard last.fm app for me in the future
