Google wallet - HTC Sensation

Is there a working Google wallet for the ics roms I tried a couple of different ways to install it but it keeps saying unfortunately Google wallet stopped working. Thanks in advance

I think it may require an NFC chip, which the Sensation doesn't have.

Are you using an HTC inspire and have you gotten the update or did you install the apk
Sent from my INSPIRE 4G using XDA Premium App *sizzle*
It automatically updates. My wife's Inspire is stock and it already updated on her phone, so it is supported.

The help section in the new market does state that once released, it will be pushed over a period of a couple of weeks, so if you haven't gotten it yet, you should be soon.

I use Netflix but want the option of the Google Video.
EDIT: I've enjoyed the new Market but in the screen shots I've seen it has the Video incorporated like Apps, Games & Books. The external Video is cool but isn't allowing rentals yet - at least for me. Anyone getting it to work?

Are you rooted? Google said this option wouldn't work in rooted handsets

I had, my phone rooted and I downloaded the new Android Market apk.. so I did not have to wait for the update but. I am glad I am rooted overall, great experience and battery last longer. I don't care much about the Google Videos tab as much now cause I have netflix and that does the justice for me.

You should be able to run NetFlix as long as you have a way to install non market apps. Sideload wonder or unknown sources enabled. Check the themes and apps sub forum. There are a couple of threads. You want version 1.3, I would post a link but I'm mobile atm.

I'm rooted and I was browsing the market, held down the back button to kill it and came back 5 minutes later to get another app and it updated itself.

Does anyone else find the new market laggier than the previous?
I installed the apk so maybe its that?

It's freakin horrid. I can't get anything done with it. I revert to the old market every time it updates.

Personally I hate the new market... Older is much clearer and cleaner.

I agree with most, I just got the new 2.3.3 update and it dident update to the new market and I'm keeping it that way. It looks horrible and you have to do way to much to find what u want. To much swiping sideways. I had wp7 and it isent even that much side scrolling lol

Hi,
System Tuner is available free from the market.
You should consider buying these apps.
It helps the developer to continue supporting our device.
Thanks for the information.I have no problem buying apps its just that I have purchased others apps in the past and they have sucked, waste of money.

Google Wallet?

Does anyone know if the official ICS for the blaze will allow us to have google wallet? And also, does the T989 have the ability to use google wallet now with ICS?

Nope T-Mobile and I know Verizon blocked it which really blows but then again security issues with google wallet would make me not use it if it was working

I think it will work but I don't know if it has the secure element in its NFC chip. I remember a link. Try searching Google Wallet Patch Modaco on Google. It works on my dads galaxy s2 on T-Mobile. It also says it works on any device and carrier running Android 4.0.2 and up.
I tried the patch and set permissions but I can't get it to show in my app list... Any suggestions?
Did you reboot??
Sent from my SGH-T769 using xda app-developers app
Yea a rebooted a few different times with different permissions and still couldnt get it to show... I thought the permissions were supposed to be RW-R-R but tried a few others just in case.
Are you on ics 4.0.2 or up??

(Q) You tube links

Ever since I updated to 2.35 T-Mobile, YouTube links no longer open in the app, is there a fix for this?

Settings, app associations, click on YouTube then choose YouTube as the app to open YouTube

Does this app association issue affect only the US rom? Because I'm now on EU 4.0.4 and everything is working as expected.

For someone who came into this thread with such an attitude, you are completely and utterly wrong. US customers have an app called htclinkifydispatcher that prevents hyperlinks from directly opening associated apps. You can thank Apple for this, but unless you root, there is no way around this little annoyance.

Either way works, but yours is only worthwhile if they're not rooted, where as the link I supplied will provide a much better solution for rooted individuals. Not sure why it upset you, though.

Went back to 2.21, none of these solutions fixed it. It got annoying.
