Hello
I use att skytocket(i727) on our south korea.
But I want to rogers stock rom
(I727r)
I found Rogers stock thread but only odin tar image and anyone wouldn't try 727 to 727r.
So very afraid about flashing via odin. (Maybe bricked)
If you have rogets stock(nandroid or zip) image, please share it.
Thanks.

I am not responsible if you brick your phone.
This is ONLY the modem, not a full ROM.
I take no credit for this, I only extracted the modem.bin from the KJ6 ROM leak and made it into an Odin and CWM package.
Here is the new KJ6 modem in Odin and CWM flashable form. Simply flash with Odin (in the PDA slot), or use the CWM package. Enjoy!

You may want to check the cwm version, this is what I got after flashing...

Just flashed. It's working fine in my phone, and it says T959VUVKJ6.
Anyone else having issues with international roaming on gingerbread? I have tried flashing all of the modems and still get dropped from international networks after 2-5 minutes. I didn't have this problem until I upgraded my S 4g to Gingerbread..
who have working boot.img which can flash with odin ? i did dump all partition from i727. but when i try to flash it with odin it stucked. it kill the phone. i am using tmo's t989 insecure kernel and it works.. can someone point me to right partition ? is p8 boot ?
+1 we definitely need one. Google how to make a Odin package. You need the system dump first. BTW there's a How to on xda, search for it.

If I flash the stock ICS firmware back to my phone, will it also flash the stock recovery since im currently running the CWM Recovery?

If you use the official Odin image, I believe so.
If it doesn't, there is an official stock Recovery image that is Odin flashable floating around somewhere.
Yes it will.

What is considered as a stock odin image? Would it just have to be a stock tar. file from the NooB sticky? Is Sammobile the best place to get this file?
Thanks

Yes and yes.
I use sammobile. But you'll have to extract the .tar.md5 file out of the zip you download from Sam. Use 7-zip to do that.

Im trying to restore my pantech p9060 stock rom using the file recovery.img which someone posted on xda without instructions Using fastboot/AIO Flasher (a fastboot/adb gui) i flashed the recovery.img file to my recovery partition That didn't restore the stock rom My phones still the same as before Can anyone tell me what i'm supposed to do with the recovery.img file to restore my phone to stock rom? please thanks
I've been on Carbon 1.8 for some time (AOKP and CM10 before that) and wanted to go back to stock rooted TouchWiz for a while. So I downloaded the de-odexed rooted Stock VRBF1 from Scotts ROMs.
I flashed this from TWRP 2.5.0.0 and the phone would not boot beyond the "Samsung Galaxy S III" screen. This was a clean flash, I factory reset the phone and also manually cleaned the dalvik, cache, system and data from advanced wipe options.
I tried this again about twice with the same result.
I then tried a Stock VRALG7 zip that I had on my computer with the same result.
Finally, I gave up and decided to flash Carbon again, and the exact same thing happened - The phone won't boot beyond the "Samsung Galaxy S III" screen.
I can access Recovery just fine and even connect via adb. One thing I noticed was that when I am in TWRP and explore the files, /system is empty and has only one folder (bin)
At this point my phone is pretty much dead in the water and any help would be appreciated.
Thanks !!
Odin?....

They're suggesting that you use Odin.

My bad, use ODIN to flash the stock or the Carbon?
Also do I use the same zip that I got from scots roms or do I the stock firmware from sammobile?
I have never really used Odin and am not really sure if all zips are odin flashable or not.
Thanks again.

Use Odin to flash the stock tar then reroot. There's a no-wipe stock rom thread in the dev section that has a few stock images. If you have issues flashing those images then I firmly suggest using a tar that wipes /sdcard. You can download those on Samsung Update website for our phone model (SCH-I535).

I am downloading the Firmware zip from sammobile, is that not the right file ? I really hate sounding like a noob but like I said, this is my first time with Odin.

They might have some as well, I'm mobile and at work so I can't check for you. Make sure the tar specifically states it's for "d2vzw" or SCH-I535. If someone else can help out please do. I know there are firmware on "Samsung Updates" website but I haven't looked on Sammobile before. Better yet, post the file name once it's downloaded.
