OK guys i whant to get CM6.1 on my HTC Magic.I tried in the past but no luck.I have a HTC Magic Stock(only rooter;stock costom image -i know to put costom image so that is not a problem;stock fastboot;stock radio etc. The big question i had is why when i install from recovery(costom recovery) the CM6.1 it wont boot.
P.S i didnt change the radio or other stuff.So i tried to install CM6.1 on SPL 1.33.1013 AND stock radio.
I have a HTC Magic 32b - my phone supports CM6.1? if it supports plss replay me what radio ; spl ; kernel i need to install.Thank!
I whant to put cm6.1 because i whant to overclock my phone.If you guys can help me with an overclock kernel that is compatible with my phone you are the best(i knwo you are the best guys so dont worry)

We now have the HTC Magic rom running with root - thx to Daldroid.
But not many users have the original HTC Magic, so if Daldroid or Haykuro, nk02 or someone with the same skills, please would try to mix a new firmware for the HTC Magic vodafone based on the original HTC Magic rom - then it would be so nice.
Remember taht the two devices have different bootloaders, kernel and the board is PVT 32A
I have a Nandroidbackup of both firmwares on my PC.

right i recently upgraded to the Engineering SPL 1.33.2010 form my perfect spl
but i dont understand what to do next to install a custom rom im using HTC Magic Vodafone UK and ive tried a few diffrent roms all of which have hung on the htc magic screen what am i doing wrong ?

Did you HSPL your device before attempting to flash a custom ROM? I'm sure you'll get more help if you post in the Device specific forum
Hello. I've updated my radio and Hboot to hboot-1.76.2007 and radio to 6.35.08.29 and using ROM : 3.05.401.3 wich has the version of 1.5 Android. I've got an HTC Magic 32A . I would like to know if there is a possibility of installing an Hero ROM android 2.0 wich is a Stock edition. Or version 2.1 for hero wich is stock edition and would work on my HTC magic. Thank you

Don't flash any stock Hero ROMs - they different against Magic's
To use Hero ROM you need port it. Make own kernel and pack into boot.img. Change some Hero drivers to Magic's. Rewrite build.prop.
Use ROMs ported already.
ahh i understand now better how it works After my exames i want to try develop a rom for fun.
Any recomendation for a Hero ROM with ported for magic?
I'm interested on a super fast and stable rom. Super smooth. Those are the parameters i give most importance. Thanks!
