OK ruthe23456,
so You wanna say after we flash I5500 ROM + update you mentioned we will have better Gingerbread than CM7 from Marcelusbe ?
And what about FM RADIO does it work too ? This is what I am missing and MAJOR reason why I am not using CM 6.2 or CM7
If BT + FM radio is really working, I think You should PM Marcellusbe
I have to look for I5500 specification, because if this phone has NOT 240x400 and +/- all works , why We should not try by "accident" Galaxy ACE ROM" where 2.3.4 is oficially released.
I think 2.3.4 /2.3.5 , it does not care - I am mostly missing graphics equalizer for audio - does this work for You too ?
And what about speed ?
I know CM7 from marcellusbe is not so fast even at 800 MHz because he had to use some parts from Froyo ...

Has any dev started work on cm9. Devs of galaxy mini;ace;3 are already at work.
I think our dev can use their alpha version to create cm9 for fit.

i dont see anyone is interested in fit's ROM development except pratyush.creed and asad007,
sqadzone provided overclocking but only for cm7
after dat no devlopment in kernel
tj_style was involving in the development for a time but he was pissed off by some members regarding donation matter
i personally think that we should contact more devlopers and tell dem dat fit users will donate
donation of even 2$ per member can make a huge difference
sometimes i feel bad for buying fit instead of mini
EVEN WHEN FIT IS BETTER THAN MINI
result : donating can make fit glow
AND FIT USERS I DON'T SAY TO DONATE TO ANY PERSON WHO JUST CHANGES THEMES AND INTRODUCES ROMS

I think u r right. I agree with your donation idea but I think no one is interested in fit.
I pm many devs of other phones but got no response.
My exams r going on right now. But I will start learning developing after exams atleast.

im not agree with this, tj_style is busy cuz he was develop other device, not just fit only

Yes +1 for donating to Contributing DEVS is a good idea I think the fit community needs to think about that..
Moreover I think ROMS from galaxy Mini can ported without much hassel
It would be great if someone either Ports them or Post a detailed newbie friendly tutorial regarding how to do so...

I had a word with squadcone about making a tutorial but he said he is busy. So I would suggest asking some developer to make a tutorial

there're so many ROMs we can Port from the Equivalent LDPI devices,,, options will galore we will have more ROMS for our device

Can you provide some screenshots! ..
And is the market working after overclocking?...I mean are u able to install apps from the market after overclocking to 801Mhz or 763Mhz!!
....Hmm...1 more thing...did u edit the build.prop...provide with the screenshot of Settings->About Phone..

In a custom rom thread i found bravia engine.zip....
I flashed it...It says its flashed...nd my phone works fine..
Dnt know whether its working or not.....If its working then enjoy

Flashing Through cwm will not work...
u have to copy file bee movie nd bee photo from zip..........to system (etc)........
I have checked miui v8 system (etc) nd i found both the files there
So i think it works

The so called bravia engine that was ported to sgs2 was proven to be just a placeboo effect

Brother i am reading every post....i found it from sgsl custom rom thread..nt sgs2 miui

it is really waste of time this engine is for amoled screen oly..hav been used this long time ago

ok, I see it, but that's on the s2. have you ported it to the i9003 and it's confirmed working, separate from the files posted in the OP? if not, then don't take it personally, we're not attacking you. we're saying the files don't work on our phone, that's all.

i know u r not pointing ur fingers to me. and i only want to let u guys know the bravia engine works with other devices but not only sony's. actually i had replied some more posts in other threads telling them although the previous one was a fake one, there exists a real mod
afaik, it's working with i9000 and s5830 also. and if there is a strong demand for i9003 and someone willing to test for and know how to debug, i don mind to port it to i9003 as well. to be frank, i wish all ppl can use it if they want to, no matter what the devices are. and that's why i asked if any developers are interested to work on this

I'm not good at debugging (yet), but if you explain in clear, concise steps I can do just about anything

Hey doesn't work your bravia engine port on ice cream 4.0.3. with SG2
causes crash the boot screen I hope you will support

Sorry for not being exactly a response, but I'm about to get also a Galaxy Ace Plus and just realized there's no official CyanogenMod support for this one yet.

Which ROM are you using, are you rooted, do you have CWM installed, you need to provide all this info and more when asking for HELP!

sometimes my canvas 2's touch nt work..
Sometimes touch screen of my canvas 2 not work..this problem created from jb update to solve it I install stock jb again,I tried 2-3 roms bt some times touch nt work..power off of some hours fix it bt again it give same problem,pls help..pls

i attach two app tried both of them Hope this Work

Yes he is right you need to post what rom you are using and is it rooted or non rooted..

Currently im using suvi v13,my previous rom was xr650..and of course my canvas 2 is rooted..

Bro my touch is fine, but some time touch and touch buttons nt work
3 touch buttons nt work even in recoverymode,but if work ,it is smoother is this is harware or software problem,
n will ur apps help to me?bcos now my touch is nt working n now my mob is off I m waiting for some hours,,,!
