Okay on the 2.1 Sense roms, the Icon labels had a shadow or a border around the name of the app. On all Sense 3.0 and 3.5 roms, there is no shadow or dark border behind the app's name, just the name. I was wondering if there is a way to get that border on the icon labels of a Sense 3.5 rom.
I have attached a picture of what I am talking about.

learn to theme or possibly find a theme already out there. Honestly though, once you see how in-depth theming can be, you probably won't want to go down that route just to get a shadow...

I am running cyano506 and i recently flashed the Modaco Sense UI ROM just so i could rip the LWP from the ROM. I successfully ripped the .apk, but everytime i try to install i get an error. I do not know why this error occurs. I can upload the .apk to let you guys give it a go.
but for now i use the Bokeh Wallpaper. I personally think that its better than the latter but it's personal preference. i just want the Sense UI LWP just to simply have another LWP

The live wallpaper is a separate function, whereas the majority of the rest of the "sense" features are linked to the ROSIE framework. So, unless you're running a ROM that has Rosie integration, its not going to work. And Sense in an all-or-nothing feature
sowwy, can you run the rosie framework on the cyogen 5.0.6 rom?
Because then it would be a hero rom.

Before you say anything, yes, I DID A SEARCH. What I'm looking for is a white vanilla taskbar with all the vanilla icons. That's it, no rosie or lockscreen or any mods. Just the vanilla taskbar. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance.

What rom do you use? And what lockscreen do you use?
Because some of the icons that the task bar uses is inside the same thing that the lockscreen uses. (im pretty sure) So when changing the taskbar, it will change your lockscreen. All the other stuff is simple, just delete rosie.apk and dialer.apk and so on and rezip the file.

It would have to be a MetaMorph then, as the taskbar elements are spread across the same files that contain the rosie and the vanilla lockscreen elements.
Why not just take an existing one and replace the roise and lockscreen graphics with the ones you want?

It wouldnt look right, the icons are big black boxes that blend with the taskbar. Make it white and you have big black box icons with a white taskbar. And you would have to change the color of the time.

Then why not go in the res, and make the icons transparent? (the black box part)
ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS: I am running DamageControl 2.07.2, and what I want is NOT an HTC taskbar with a white background, I want an actual AOSP taskbar. Just like the pic posted above. EDIT: I'm also using the android 2.0 rotary lockscreen.

Pull the one out of my ROM. I took it out of DarchDroid, which is AOSP.

some of the files are in com.htc.resources too like location 3g and I think signal

So I'm running mikfroyo 4.3, and I was wondering where I could find icon packs that use the same sense green theme.
I'm sure others would also like other colors as well, to go with their custom themes. I'd greatly appreciate any input into this.

Well, not exactly, it's now morphed into Athena.
Skyraider is exactly what I want, but I'd like the AOSP style notification bar that Athena has.
I like Athena, but I really like the HTC Gallery in Skyraider 3.5.
For some reason I have photos in all sorts of different folders because of my ROM addiction. The 3D Gallery has about 4 different folders, whereas the HTC Gallery just puts all the photos on one folder.

Is there any way to get the dock bar (also known as launch bar) on the bottom of the home screens to be (semi-) transparent? Should be possible since HTC's own "Serene", "Memories", "Painting the world" and "Spaceship Earth" skins have a semi-transparent dock. Now if you're asking, why I just don't use one of those skins, it's because they add a different color scheme and I like the default android-green one.
I'm also a fan of Sense 4, so I do not want to use any launchers, but would be willing to flash a custom Sense Rom if there's one with a transparent dock (or if there's another way to achieve transparency on a custom rom)

Download trickdroid tweaks for tweaks app or extract energy tweaks from energy rom

Use trickdroidrom install the tweaks app and supersmooth rosie and then you have it
I suggest using the Axiom S ROM as it has an option to easily toggle this setting with no flashing tweaks. When I tried TrickDroid and the tweaks package, I had soooo many issues. With Axiom, it all works.
