[Q] reboot loop

My g2x keeps rebooting over and over again! This happened after i mounted it to my pc. it tries to read my sd card then just reboots over and over again. I have nv flash and tried to restore old back up but still does it. can any one help im thinking i need to flash stock.
you need to do a factory reset if your nandroid backup doesn't work. if that doesn't work reflash the rom.
I already did a factory reset and wipe and tried to re install the rom. it just continues to reboot. It starts up and if quick i can get into my lock screen and access things but within seconds it reboots and continues to do that
What rom are you using?

I was on a stock rooted rom when the problem happened. so i then i did a restore. when that didnt work i reflashed the stock rom that was posted on forum. i think it has something to do with my internal memory which i cannot access. this all happened when i was trying to back up my sd card while in usb and it just got an error when i unplugged it enless reboot.

I was hoping it was something simple like undervolting with a custom rom. I wish I could help. It sounds like you tried everything I would recomend. Maybe one of the real Android techie type guys can help you. I am still learning myself.

[Q] e4gt cwm touch 5.x.x isnt loading anymore it skips.

Hey guys. New here been messing with my phone quite a bit and up until now ive been able to fix everything ive broken lol. Im using calkulins ROM 2.8 with hitma kernel and darker orange theme and everything was wonderful. Then somehow after trying to flash an ics theme it borked my recovery. Now when I boot to recovery all I get is the cwm logo screen with version number 5.8.1.5 I think. And it jumps from there straight into booting up normally literally skipping recovery.
Now im in panic mode because I cant fix anything without some kind of recovery to flash with. And I dont have ready access to a PC. So I was hoping someone had a solution to this problem that doesnt require a PC. If not id still like to hear it so I can find a PC and do it. I tried ROM manager too and it just keeps skipping recovery. Thanks in advance you guys are awesome.
Update: never mind guys I found a PC. Factory reset el29. Rerooted using Odin. Nandroid restore and viola. Im liking this cell phone business kinda fun. What do you need to learn to create your own roms/kernels? My interest is peaked now.

Expert help need: Tmobile Rapport/u8160 cynogen9 boot loop (no backup)

Hello there I have tried to install this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1259739 which is the cynogen rom (i think)
So I rooted my phone without any problems
Got Mad Manager and installed the update as it said in the instructions it said flash complete and I went to boot up my phone and it had the cyanogen9 boot up screen looking really cool so I was excited... 2 minutes later I thought oh no...
I never backed it up... Ive been looking at methods of how to restore but I only get so far before getting lost
Ive tried ADB and only got so far.
I tried the start button with volume up and down and it says "update failed"
I really dont know what to do I hope I havent broke it.
If someone could give me a noob friendly tutorial on how to fix this I would be soo greatful!
Hopefully hear from you soon
Thank you in advance!
Please folks if anyone has any idea how to help me I would really appreciate it!
Hello, you solution is fairly simple to fix. Before I was a developer I did the same thing. Never backed up. I also was excited. But this is what you do.
Download a rom and gapps package which I'm sure you had done that.
Now what you problem was you did not wipe data/factory data.
Do these in order when flashing roms.
1.boot into recovery mode.
2.do both wipes. Data/factory data and cache.
3.install. zip from SD thing. Navigate to where the rom is.
4.install the rom then the Google apps pack now reboot and enjoy.
I'd suggest. Using cm7 as default rom or my rom. Since cm9 is still in development
HELP! My phone stuck on boot screen (or boot loop) can someone upload their backup of vodafone 858 phone (or system.img) file???

[Q] Pro HELP needed

Hi people, it's been a while since I last posted something here but I need some professional help so PLEEEASE help...
So, the digitizer on my LG P920 started acting strange few months ago and it had to be serviced. Didn't have the extra cash for repairs until monday and today it's finally repaired and working again.:victory:
Now the guy that repaired my phone said that he had to change three digitizers in order to make it work. He had a problem calibrating the screen so he succeeded on the third one.
MY QUESTION is does the calibration of the screen have any connection of what rom are you on?
I mean with original screen I changed almost every single rom since ported ICS and everything worked good but now I'm a little afraid to flash some other rom if it's going to f_$% up my screen.
I don't know how to calibrate it myself and spending more cash on ths old phone is not an option so is calibration of the screen universal for all roms or is it rom related?
EDIT: I forgot to ask, I also made a backup of my rom in TWRP before sending the phone to service so is it safe to restore that backup or not? Any opinion is helpful...
Thanx in advance.
To be honest with you, I changed digitizer on my P920 three times. I never did any calibration ast this is capacitive digitizer. You only calibrate when you have resistive screen. Basically the guy lied.
Another thing about the ROM and strange working touchscreen. I had that problem on my one with the third change, but when I flashed wkPark's bootloaders it was gone. I hope I helped you.
PS: So don't be afraid of flashing new roms I recommend PAC if you don't mind 3D and HDMI
As far as TWRP backup you should be ok but your bootloader must match what you had when you backed up or you will probably get security error (i.e. if you now have wkpark bootloader but you did not when you made the backup). Enter TWRP, wipe cache and dalvik, factory reset and then restore backup; some people wipe system too before restore. Just be sure to save your stuff to pc in case you have to reflash. Or you could just flash the right bootloader if you get security error.
Thanx guys, you helped a lot.

[Q] broke phone in a special way

i have a rom working on the phone (cm10.0.0) have no clue whats going on with phone.
basicly the issue is when i start the phone it says sdcard safe to remove if i try to mount the media storage it quickly jumps and then says the same thing i need any help possible at this point willing to try anything. does anyone know of a solution
(phone is htc one s (s4)
Backup everything and do a factory reset. Also wipe all caches. Then reflash the ROM and GAPPS. If the problem still exists you could try another ROM. CM10.2 is very stable so I would upgrade to it.
