I have a SS galaxy s2 hd lte, after I copy file framework-res.apk from /system/framework and put it in folder usbStorage, my phone get stuck at boot screen every time I restart the phone. I assume that the copied file creates a conflict with the original file whenever the phone try to boot. If I can somehow delete the copied file, I think this problem will be solved. However, as the phone is bricked, there is no way I can access the USB storage. Does anyone know how access it in this case ? I just got the phone a week ago and I'm a noob about the android, so if anyone know how to solve this, please help!

I tried putting Rafdroid 4.2 on my hd2 and deleted everything from my sd card. But for some reason it won't work when I copy it unto my sd card. Sometimes it won't even copy & it says the file can't be located on here. (Something like that). I really want rafdroid but it doesn't seem to work. if anybody has a clue on what is wrong or what to do, please let me know asap. A video explaining how to correct everything & also install rafdroid will be really helpful. So please if you make a video I would really appreciate it. Please help me! I can't even use my phone anymore cause of this problem.

you meen that you cant copy your rom in you sdcard? try format your sd card and check again.
Yes & I dragged and dropped and it says copying but I don't see the green bar moving. Then after about 1 or 2 mins, it tells me " This is no longer located in F:\.Verify the item's location and try again.
But do note that I can only connect the USB to the computer through MAGLDR. Using "USB Mass Storage mode".
Please help me ! I need the rafdroid. Thanks
Okay well my screen and digitizer are broken. I'm pretty sure I left usb debugging mode always on. I tried downloading kies and plugging it in, but got a connection error saying that the device wasn't in kies mode so it couldn't recognize it.
Also, the internal sd is not visible from my computer, although the computer does play the sound recognizing it being plugged in and trying to download the drivers. Indicating that the sd isn't mounted for access through the computer.
So my problem is, how can I possibly get any internal sd data at this point? I was thinking maybe adb but I'm clueless as to how I would go about doing that. Not to mention, I'm not even sure if adb is the solution I'm looking for...if there is one. Would adb still work even since the computer isn't recognizing it in "my computer"?
My phone is rooted and running some old rom that I don't remember. I had clockwork and voodoo if that even matters.
I know sorry for being a noob. Any help is appreciated
sorry for the double post, but this is a large active forum. 200 views and no answers? I know somebody on here knows the answer to my problem. Tell me if I should post in a different section...
I'm recycling my phone and really want my data that's on the sd and then wipe it after.
Download drivers to Pc. Then see if it can connect. Also I assuming your phone uses Odin. Try putting phone in download mode

You will have to try and get your PC to see your device. If you can't then you are out of luck. This is the big problem with only having internal storage and no SD card.
thanks for the replies. Okay so I have the drivers installed. I installed kies and tried connecting that way but it wouldn't connect saying that the phone wasn't in kies mode (and I have no way of doing that with the broken screen).
I tried setting up adb and droid explorer. Droid explorer said my phone had around 300kb of data on it. The sd card folder was a "link" with a small data size. None of the folders or files were found when clicked on in droid explorer.
Any options at this point?

Got the same problem as you did, just with a samsung galaxy s3, and I have tried all the things listed in this thread, with no luck. Did you find a solution to this?
Hi,
Apologies if in wrong section, but I have a query about updating the platform.xml file on my Samsung Galaxy Trend GT-S7580
to allow rw access to the external sd card.
I have rooted the phone and mounted the file system, via Mount /system (rw/ro) app. (check root and Titanium backup confirm it as rooted)
I can navigate to and update/save the platform.xml file, however whenever I restart the phone the file reverts to its original and my changed are lost.
Before restarting I was able to create a new folder etc on the sxt sd card, but again after restarting the folder seemed to be gone too!
Is there anything I am doing wrong, or additional steps I am missing out on?
Any help is much appreciated
Update .... turns out its the microSD card that is the problem. Cant seen to write or delete from it even though its not read only.
Got a new card and hey presto, worked fine

I had connected my OnePlus One to the PC and was cleaning the Internal SD when I noticed this
/storage/emulated/0 folder.
It had just 1 file in it and I didn't know what it was and accidentally deleted it.
Now every media file and other documents which were stored on my phone got completely wiped. I cannot even recover it since the phone has only MTP or PTP mode and I don't know how to recover it from these modes as standard recovery softwares dont recognise it...
Is there any way I can get back my files and images as they were really important since they were pictures of my late friend! :/
Thanks
You have just wiped your Internal SDCard Partition. There is extremely remote and painful possibility of recovering it. You are better off flashing Stock Firmware to the Phone.

Hi, I'm using Samsung Galaxy Trend GT-S7560.
So the problem is if I do anything with my external SD Card (move, rename, delete, make files.. etc), it will save any changes at first, but it will return to a specific state either after a while, or if I reformat/remount the card or restart the phone.
This happen all of a sudden.
Ex: I deleted a pic and after a while it will be there again even it was already gone before, create a file it will gone, move a file from phone storage to the external SD Card it will gone too.
It's not like I can't edit at all. But it will return to the state before I edit it.
The problem made my apps like Link2SD can't run properly.
I tried to edit the files using my PC or an app but it will return to the specific state in the end.
Please help, thanks!
