[ROM][MOD]CM7.2 nightly with working camera and 100% battery (Defy+) - Defy Android Development

Hi all
I don't know if I can actually create a thread about that or if I should just post it somewhere else, if I'm doing something wrong please delete it and please don't ban me
So! Since I bought my Defy+ I've been searching everywhere, reading every post and lurking here and there to find a successful way to install CM7 on it.
Unfortunately, it seemed like a lost cause : there is no official version for it ( just for the small brother Defy ), every single version either didn't load or had problems, like inverted camera, not fully charging battery, APN problems and so on.
After several experiments and a pants-****ting soft brick, I managed to merge the perfect ( ? ) solution

This is CM7.2 nightly version 111213 : I merged it with a working camera ( no inverted pics, no bugs, working selective touch to focus ) and a working battd ( it fully charges the Defy+ battery up to 1650 mAh, no "stop charging at 80%" or stuff like that ), both taken from different versions
I'm still testing it, but for now I can't find any problems whatsoever, it's smooth and stable for everyday use
Install it like every other CM rom ( flashing gapps included ), and if after the first restart you can't find any signal just restart and everything will work
I was going to post it in another thread, but since it's a very common problem I thought it was better if everybody was able to find it faster, again, if it's not " worth " of a proper thread just delete it and I'll post it somewhere else
Thanks a lot everyone, I'm learning more and more everyday about Android thanks to you!
P.S.
I honestly don't know if it will run on every single device, regardless of Defy/Defy+ and/or Android version, Kernel and stuff
So I'm posting info about my device, and whoever is in my same situation can flash this rom for sure
Defy+
Android 2.3.6 ( full sbf, the one you can't downgrade from )
Kernel version : 2.6.32.9-gbdd614e
A COUPLE OF THINGS
1) If you had problems flashing the zip ( like not being able to open it or whatever ) you can try to rename it with a shorter, no-space name. I uploaded it the way I flashed it on my phone, so it works like this on mine, but who knows
2) For every request ( adding T9 dialer, changing this and that ) I have to remind you this is just a CM7 nightly with a couple of modifications to have full working battery and camera on Defy+ : it means I have honestly no idea how to change anything CM-related, and for that I suggest you to ask in this or this thread, where there are actual CM developers who can probably help you

I guess it's both for Defy and Defy+, as far as I know nighties don't include kernel, so you can basically mount them wherever you want xD
But yea, I'll add it anyway, along with info about my device

choose stable recovery
for that install the zip from file attached bootmenue http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1140839

that's weird, this zip comes directly from my SD-card, so it's obviously not damaged nor incomplete or whatever..

Maybe the name was too long, even if I flashed it with that name xD
about you problems.. that's very strange. which android version were you mounting before flashing this rom? defy or defy+?
As I stated in the OP, this is no weird black magic or anything, it's the basic CM nightly with a couple of variation to have working camera and battery xD all the rest is exactly the same as CM

Hello, first there excuses my Englishman for whom it is bad. Podrias to a stable miui to correct the problem of the load of battery since you it have I begin in this rom? Thank you

Thank you !
It is a pleasure to have a fully working rom.
I just had a little problem when calling, after a minute or so, when the screen locks I can still hear people but they can't hear me.
Any clue how to fix that ? I am not even sure it is coming from this release but it is the first time it happens.

The "regular" Defy users probably won`t flash this since they can easily download stable CM7.1 or 7.2 beta that will work with no problems. Those stuck on 2.3.6 should flash this
I have "regular" Defy with flashed 2.3.6 SBF (red lensed) and I confirm that is this ROM working fine with my phone Camera, battery etc so far no problems.

Why not simply sharing with everyone what you did to fix the battery charging problem? It can't be that complicated isn't it?
Because I know what you did for the camera ;-...

@Jojo
Yea sure, I used this one
@amediometro
I honestly didn't understand what you said..
@ateach
never encountered this problem sorry
@maymyk
I'm a bit ashamed about it, but I don't know how to do that if you explain me how to I'll be more than pleased to do it
@[] AL []
I thought to share the whole working rom instead of the small "fixes" and tell you "you do that yourself"
anyway I found a different version of the "battd" included in the CM Nightly and I put it inside the .zip overwriting the previous one, but I'm afraid I don't have it anymore, if you want it you can download the ROM and extract it, same applies for Camera.apk and overlay ( which you said you already know about )
I'm pretty sure I found it via android-hilfe, a german forum which is full of good informations, provided you either know german ( which I don't ) or have a lot of patience to go through the disturbing google translator
if I can help anyhow let me know, even thought there's not much I can really do, I'm not a CM developer, basically every problem you can get with this rom is about CM..

can we enable 720p record?
or can we change camera with the azar camera apk?

work fine I confirm

Ok thanks, I don't own a defy+ anyway; I was just curious to learn about your solution for the battery charging.
In fact, during the holidays, I thought of doing the same as you did; I wrote a guide about all the tweaks I use on the same nightly and realized that it was extremely long and that I'd better just share a nand backup instead...
I believe that the question from the guy that you did not understand was about the same issue (batt charging fix) on MIUI this time...
And I'm pretty sure that the flashing problems on p.1 is because your zip name has a space in it; you should rename it and re-upload or make that very clear in the OP at least.
Cheers

[Q] nee help on motorola quench XT3

Hi guys...
i am planning to buy(India) Motorola quench XT3, i need few help from you
Q1. is it advaisable to buy motorola quench xt3? is it great phone for budget price? i don't have much money to spend on phones since i have lost my iphone recently..
Q2. right now they are providing Android 2.1 with it....is it possible to upgrade to android 2.2? official or unofficial upgrade is possible ?
Q3. if i upgrade to 2.2, will i loose any features?
Q4. is xt3 possible to mod? i mean changing theme, adding widgets, etc..
Please help me in this....
i am looking for your support on this.
cheers
Can someone put light on this.....i am looking for your help dears....
its a great phone and i am using it know.Technicaly speaking its a phone that states its camera is 3mp on its backcover but mine is a newer android 2.1 version that motorola recalled it to change its camera sensor. It is shown in the camera launcher which says 5mp.It is pretty similar to the htc legend and i like it as the ui is very fast!It is so far very good and fast.No lag and it is very customisable. It can put almost any widget and at this price,It really is better then any phone even better then the legend. It also has a unscratcheable screen as it is gorilla glass! Its processer is 600mhz and that makes it alot better then the wildfire which loses in every way to the xt3!There is no 2.2 rom yet!But no features will be lost! And i am also a user of the iphone and i dumped it cos this is alot better if you know how to use it to its potential!Battery life is very good and can last a whole day with heavy youtube+web+Music+video usage!Get the phone! You will not be dissapointed!Make sure you get the android 2.1 version as there were two versions of it!
Hey Thanks Alisterrox....Thats great help....much much appriciated...
actually i already bought it - Motorola quench xt3.
i felt its good and the speed also good.....everything is fine...i played few games .....it went smooth.
also i have googled about 2.2 upgrade....few people have upgraded to froyo....which is cynagen mod.
if you know how to root our device...that will be helpful for me....there are few method ...i don't know which one works fine...
if you have rooted your device..pl. give some direction also if you have installed any theme or rom...please guide me how to do that
i hope i am not asking you somuch...
cheers
Root problem
Don't mention it!I did not root my phone as i have heard rumors that an official froyo update is in Feburary!I am sorry for the slow reply! As for cynagen mod it is the orange boston class which means you can try the mod in the class of the HTC legend or HTC Hero!I'm sorry if i am of not much help. However if you like the Samsung Galaxy S theme i have the file and i am gonna leave it here if you want!
Thanks alisterrox...thanks for your help....i already have installed Cyanogen mod 6.1.2 on my system....i didn't know that there will be a official update of 2.2....i could have waited for some time....even the installed cyanogen mod, i am not feeling its good....the touch resposive become bit lagish and the speed is very similar to 2.1...the battery drains early(this is the big issue).....the only benifit is i can install app on my SD card thats all.
between the file which you have attached here....how i can use...can i use 'rom manger to install ?
Thanks
Cheers
It is an apk technically speaking u just place the file in your sd card that will do the trick. You can use any app installer. As for the sluggishness of the mod it is expected as it is a general rom which may not be built for this phone specifically.....i will try probably to write a froyo rom into it if i have the time while i port a htc rom or any rom i can get hold of!Maybe dext motoblur rom as the specs are pretty similar!
Thanks alisterrox...whish you very very happy new year...i will try the theme and let you know....if you buil any rom please let me know...
also i have noticed that ...cyanogenmod people have ported the Gingerbread rom to our devices...pl. do check
http://boston-mania.blogspot.com/2011/01/rom-23-cyanogen-mod-7-rc0-for-z71.html
Cheers
ThanQ
I m screwed up with my pretty old HTC Touch.. I am looking for best of HTC Wildfire, Samsung Galaxy 551, Motorola Quench XT3, LG Optimus1 P500, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8..
but after seeing this thread and other threads I will definitely go for Motorola Quench XT3. Only one question how is the display colors and resolution compared with others ?
ThanQ
@ kbmkreddy
according to me ....Motorola quench XT3 is best buy...
Screen quality is better than any other mobile in this category ....(you can check the specification and compare...XT3 is best in class).
i would recommend do check LG optimus 1 p500 also...this is also a pretty good mobile.
cheers

hey here by i have attached few froyo rom's for our device....these are works fine without draining much battery...
i would recomment you to try 'jellybean' 'Apanda' & firetrap rom's to test..
http://boston-mania.blogspot.com/2011/01/rom-22-official-apanda-a60-rom-22.html
Bug: 1. there may be a chance to loose IMEI ...also 2. registering the network in the beginning is very slow 3. App2SD is not so good...you can't move everything.
http://boston-mania.blogspot.com/2011/02/rom-22-flphfiretrap-jellybean-221.html
bug: when ever you do in setting menu changes....will be restored to the factory setting whenever you restart. but one of the best rom i have ever used.
http://boston-mania.blogspot.com/2011/02/rom-22-android-bakpia-cokelat-221.html
bug: it says official rom for XT502 but whenever i install through SUT...it shows some error...but works fine...App2SD is not so good.
http://boston-mania.blogspot.com/2011/01/rom-22-official-foxconn-rom-22_28.html
bug: IMEI issue, Have to root, for some device...will be locked...
http://boston-mania.blogspot.com/2011/01/rom-22-firetrap-twonights-221.html
bug: App2SD is not good, I didn't like the dialer but this is the 2nd best rom i have used.
hope i have helped you.
cheers
Tried rom
I have tried all but the best so far is the official 2.2 xt502 rom with gingerbread ui.it's very stable fast allows the installation of apps to sd card.also the kernel 2.6.32.9 is way u will want if u want superb battery life and great speed.cyanogen of course is faster but it gives horrible battery life.apanda's and foxconn rom's are very good generally.but I heard the clock speed is capped mostly at 480mhz.apanda's are 600mhz but don't worryfficial Rom usually have no imei fault whatsoever.oh if u are facing problems with any rom that gives u other region setting(that's wat I got with the official rom) just go android market and dl the regional settings app.I suggest the official rom bcos it's made for our phones and u will not get things like commitiva z71 or any other orange boston clones;it say xt502.Apps2sd works fine here if u do a custom partition;I did it and it works fine.generally if u like firetrap has good rom.but recent roms also built on the official rom such as the balakaila rom have the same stable kernel.look for those as they are special kernel for our phone.oh error codes on sutlr are very common as we had clockwork mod to install cyanogen b4...thus it works wierdly.I have been fiddling around and I will most probably attempt rom building on the 2.6.32.9 kernel with no root.complete stock will give good performance.besides the gingerbread ui is gorgeous so try that out!it even has smart dialing enabled unlike other rom's.it make dialling a dream unlike the previous roms mentioned.cheers!maybe we should request for a thread specially for our xt502!
Hi alisterrox,
Where do I get the official update to 2.2 mentioned in your last post? I'm running stock 2.1 rom on my XT502 and need to update specifically for apps2sd and such other features.
Thanks in advance.
Sent from my Motorola-XT502 using XDA App
@ pamfu ...Official rom i have attached in my post...the first link is the official rom for our device(not exchatly xt502 rom but its official rom for similar variant.....i guess you know...its just a brand name...everything else are same).
@ alisterrox ...Thanks man....even i thought the same....official rom are fine to use..its very stable.......
since you have knowledge about rom's...you should cook some rom for our device....we should ask seprate thread for our XT502....that will be very much helpful
Cheers
rom building and guide
well i am waiting for the 2.4 sdk to come out b4 i try anything....oh if u want to know how to update to the 'official rom',the steps are
Flashing non cyanogen rom
Step 1ownload and install the SUTLR to your computer(link to dl:http://uploading.com/files/7942c5ef/SUTLR_v1.7.0.zip/)
Step 2ut the phone in download mode -> red call button + vol up + power.Rmb to download the rom u want on ur computer and unzip it.It is a nbo file.
Step 3:In SUTLR ,choose the option "erase user data"
Step 4:Click flash rom.wait a while and it should work.
Step 5o not worry about the errors u get after flashing.Just go ahead and boot ur phone up.After the motorola badge u will get the green android robot. It should boot up.
Step 4:If u dont like the chinese root explore use system app remover to clear file and dl the full version using applanet
Rmb to always backup ur rom!
If problems persist with booting(applies to most roms)
Step 1:Go into recovery mode(power+vol up+camera button)
Step 2:Using trackball or volume buttons, select wipe cache and wipe user data(select button is camera button, back is power button)
Step 3:Go into advanced settings and select wipe dalvik cache and wipe battery stats
Step 3:It should work.If there are problems feel free to ask.
Rooting ur phone if u are still on stock 2.1 and want cyanogen
Step 1:Using the universal androot apk provided, install it to ur phone.Click root after installation and opening the app
Step 2ownload rom manager.U can use the market but u can dl the premium version using applanet which is a app that provides paid apps free.
Step 3:In rom manager, flash clockwork mod recovery.
Step 4:Back up ur rom by selecting it in the app.
Step 5l the cyanogen rom u want.Rmb to download gapps or google apps.
Step 6ut the rom rar file into ur sd card root folder.Rename the cyanogen rar file as update
Step 7:Go into recovery mode again.Select the flash 'update.zip' option.
Step 8:After complete, clear all user data, cache and everyting as mentioned b4.
Step 9:Reboot ur phone.U should get the cyanogen mod robot. If stuck at the motorola badge dont panic.refer to the help at the top of this post.
Step 10:Ur done! But rmb to download the latest google apps to ur phone. Its the same way put the gapps mdpi to ur root folder. This time dont rename it.just select flash zip from sdcard.after complete u will get the latest google apps.
Step 11:Voila u are done!

Hi Alisterrox,
I'm using official XT502 with 2.3 UI rom too, it worked good so far. But why everytime I restart my phone my internal memory always reduced a little ? I used app2sd with ext3 partition in external. Did it happen too in yours ? Thank you.
@alisterrox
You really rock man! Such flawless instructions! My XT502 upgraded in flat 5 minutes!
THANKS THANKS THANKS ..... MANY THANKS!

[Q] From stock to Team Eos Wifi Nightlie (wingray/MZ604)

Hi,
I'll be getting my brand new Xoom Wifi (EU) next week. Now that there's an ICS rom with camera and hdmi, I want to upgrade to ICS. I have some experience with rooting/flashing the Hannspree Hannspad but just to be sure. The steps to go from stock to Team Eos Wifi Nightlie (wingray/MZ604):
- root
- install clockworkmod
- flash zip from sd
Is this correct ?
Thanks

You can use the guide, below. I recommend that you read the 1st post thoroughly and at least read the last several pages as they may be somewhat relevant to your situation.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction !
Don't upgrade to any ics rom if you are planing to test drive or daily use the Xoom. You will not be able to play games that have 3d. Only native apps will work (some). I think its the build and not that its a new OS...but its a nightly so you can't complain. I'm going to relock my Xoom and wait for the official release. There is no real point in using a custom rom if you are at the newest OS and the horse power is great for gaming and working. There are plenty of apps that will give you customization without root. Overclocking is not that notorious but will drain the baterry faster so there is no gain. ICS looks awesome and devs are really genious but I think the rom will not be useful until the official update comes out.
I'm coming from the Hannspree Hannspad and on that tablet I've used all kinds of roms (different Honeycomb flavors). I'm not sure I understand what you mean here. From what I've read in the forums the current build is a fully functional ICS rom. Can someone shed a light on this ?
Games or apps that require 3d doesn't work. Even soul craft that is a ics compatible game. So its not ics ...its the rom. I'm not complaining its a nightly but people saying its a functional build...well it is if you stay with the stock apps and native made apps. But for me its not. List of apps that doesn't work that I use. AutoCAD,Photoshop, gta3 , every gameloft , dead space.... some other apps work but sometimes fc or refuse to open and have to reboot. Some will say its not the rom but devs not upgrading theyr apps for ics but I have seen games working and then not in every ics build. So there's that.
Most of the application works. gameloft's game is not working currently.
I m nw on teameos aosp build29 n i m very satisfy with this rom. It is extremely smooth n fast. camera is working now too.

Actually the nightly builds are quite functional for daily drivers. It depends on what you do with your Xoom. I'm not that much of a gamer, so I don't care much about that. Photoshop Touch works fine, but can't connect with Creative cloud (at least a few builds ago when I tried), most everything else works fine. Not all apps have made the changes needed for compatibility with ICS yet, so not really an Eos ICS Nightly problem.
All went smooth. Running ICS now! Heaven. Thanks a lot!
Edit: should cifs work out of the box? Using cifs manager but cannot mount shares
Edit 2: When upgrading to a new nightly: just wipe cache & flash zip ? (sorry can't post in the correct forum yet).

Installing New Roms

I recently purchased a photon Q, unlocked the bootloader and rooted it. All went well until I tried installing a new ROM. I've tried installing both Carbon and CM11 but with no luck. Thankfully, I've been keeping backups of my stock ROM so I'm still able to restore the phone and use it.
I'm currently using cwm 6.0.1.3 , and I had been trying to install the new ROMs via rom manager. I'll try to get more error details up Friday as that's when I'll attempt to install the new roms.
I tried installing the latest nightlies for both CM11 and Carbon.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
CWM 6.0.1.3 doesn't support SELinux and so it doesn't support any KitKat ROMs (CM11 and newer).
Use TWRP or OR as a recovery.
I wondered if that was the problem. How would I go about putting twerp on my phone? Do any threads cover that? Would it cause an issue with CWM or would I have to get rid of that in order to install TWRP?
Thanks, by the way.

The TWRP page for the Photon Q goes over how to flash TWRP.
http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/137
Any recovery you flash will simply overwrite the previous one. Simply flashing TWRP as normal will just replace CWM.
Same with OpenRecovery, simply flashing OR over CWM will replace CWM with OR.
Let us know if you have questions. I like the fastboot method, but there was an app in the Play Store TWRP Manager - which I have never used, but should work fine.
Awesome! I replaced cwm with twrp last night. I'm going to try installing Carbon either tonight or tomorrow. Thanks a bunch for the help guys!
Well, it worked...sorta. i tried installing Carbon, but there seemed to be some kind of bug that didn't let the wifi turn on(along with some performance issues) and I have horrible reception at my place so that didn't get too far in setting up the phone.
So I installed the latest CM 11 snapshot and that's working great! Pretty awesome to be on the latest version of Android for a change!
Still want to try Carbon though, do they have more stable releases or do you just have to go out on faith with the nightlies?

I run Carbon as my daily driver, no problems.
Post in the thread if you have issues. As always, clean flash before reporting any.
I posted this in a couple other threads as well but since you guys are talking about it... do you think the Carbon is superior to the CM10/11/12 roms? I've found mine to be laggy lately. Maybe it always was I'm not sure.. lol but I was thinking of going to 10.2.1 .. someone on another thread said he did that and it was like having a different phone .. it was so fast.

Please quit cross-posting. You are severely diluting any community effort to respond to you by posting the same question in so many threads...
Truth be told, YOU need to make the decision for yourself. Take a backup of your current setup and try something new, you have nothing to lose but some time. If you don't like it, restore the backup you took (please please take a backup IN RECOVERY before making any changes).
LOL sorry lets not kid ourselves. There are 4 active threads since May 24 in this sub category of the Photon Q. My intention was not to spam-post, however given the slow movement of the forum I posted in a few relevant threads in the thinking that those who were active would have subscribed and were maybe notified Sorry if I did a few too many... for tonite I probably have had a few too many Coronas (Cervesa Mas Fina!).
This device is in a production environment. There is not much room for any downtime on the device so I do not have that luxury of playing with it. All these Photon Q's I would think have the same specs so there must be a general consensus or benchmark'ed result as to which ROM offers best performance with the usability balanced. I do need more of these devices moving forward.
Funny thing, I live within 50 miles of Blackberry's campus and they have failed us yet again. Their passport phone is a little more reliable and less buggy than last years Q or Z models, however I'm still lacking a row of numbers and a dang home and back key. When are they gonna figure it out! Just using the gesture/swipe to get to the homescreen doesn't appeal to me. You can't give me a home button? Anyway #offtopic a little.. but is there no general consensus or are they so close its difficult to pick a winner?

Have tried a number of ROM's carbon, PAC, Cmod, stock ICS, & JB.
Tried different flavours & unofficial versions.
I'm now happier than ever, running stripped JB - removed bloat ware & other obsolete APK's, plus added a few niceties using xposed framework.
Phone is fast - as in no slow downs & pauses, like I was getting with carbon & PAC, battery is unbelievably long life - using an xposed battery saver module, plus I added extended power menu options.
The main killer of all the other custom ROM's is the persistent Bluetooth error during calls. This is something that has been in the ROMs since Cmod wrote the first one, as all the other are built off of it.
If you don't require Bluetooth for calls, then go for it - personally I am finally happy with the JB stripped & tweaked stock.

Miui 8 on Mi 4C

Hi guys!
I installed yesterday Miui 8 alpha from here: http://en.miui.com/thread-295006-1-1.html
ATTENTION!
This will be locked your bootloader!
I tried the recovery image, but it didnt work. I flashed first stable miui 7 from eu.miui than got I drecly a system update to Miui 8.
Unfortunately it's still based on android 5.1.1.
Here are screenshots.
How is Battery life... SOT? Thank you!
I dont know. I didnt so much used. Now Im back to sMiui. But I think its not beter than sMiui.
I use xiaomi.eu version which doesn't lock bootloader. Everything works well...somewhat. Back camera got downgraded features (only 720p max?), front camera can still record 1080p. Battery life, SoT and RAM consumption are similar to 6.5.26. I enable the battery saver, though. Plus only some apps are allowed for full background processing. I'm sticking with it, next updates should be better.
I'm using MIUI8 for nearly 24 hours now and I'm quite satisfied. Have not recognized heavy bugs (not even small ones).
The battery life seems to be similar to MIUI7 builds and worse than CM13.1 from TeamSuperluminal, which I used over the past few months.
I've been using first version of MIUI 8 from the first day it came out, on xiaomi.eu and I haven't got any issue what so ever. I find it works well, no bugs on my type of use so far. The thing is I don't find a significant change over Miui7... Do you guys? Generally speaking. There are a few functions on sharing that are diferent but it isnt something you should worrie about to hurry up updating.
My suggestion for everyone is that if you are in Miui7 (whatever stable or dev version) dont feel you are loosing something without having version 8... it is almost an appearance thing only changes. I'm not dev so i dont actually know what changes in the inside code and stuff, just speaking over a consumer and tester view.
If there is some devs who can tell what important changes are made over I would appreciate.
miui 8 6.6.23 beta. full wifi usage

what i feel is xiaomi added new theme to MIUI 7 and brand it as MIUI 8.
Nothing significant, everything same as MIUI 7.
totally agreed, i had some overheating and touch issues btw
I'll wait Miui8 on android MM for Mi4c before installing that...
Hi! Please help me out
I will receive my new Mi 4c with the Bootloader Unlocked from the re seller , Rooted and with Multi language ROM.
Do I have to unlock the bootloader with the official method (which means flashing Cina Dev ROM -to re lock the bootloader- and go on with the Xiaomi's code procedure..) or it is possible to get all things done by choosing an unofficial weekly miui.eu international ROM and install it normally from the Updater app as soon I get my device but also be able to update it every week via Updater without issues?
My problem with flashing is that I don't have my laptop and the one I have now runs win xp.
If your MI4C is rooted you can install Flashify. With Flashify you can flash TWRP. Then you can download any desired rom and install that from TWRP.
No need for a computer.... unless you brick your phone at some point.

First, just see first if you can access to the recovery rebooting with Vol button pushed.
What's your rom version.
Hi! it's been a while since I made this post and I've changed the MI4C with a Mi4... thanks anyway! Best!

Which ROM should I flash?

Hey Guys, I have been strolling through different ROMs for GT 18262, but i dont know if they are totally stable or not, so i thought i would create this thread where all this info could be there.
I wnat to know whether there is a rom which fullfills this requirements:
1. Stable
2. Everything works including Camera.
3. Support for swap.
4. Possibly a higher Android Version than stock rom and not just themed.
Maybe I am asking too much, but i have Cosmic Rom with its final version flashed but i have this problem that the ROM would just stop responding and even after restarting i cant even unlock screen cause possible screen wouldn't respond. I tried many others like Monster Rom build 3, but the microphone didnt work when calling but worked on WhatsApp Call(lol). So please help me

M using cm11....and its best stable and customized rom ...u can later change the theme to lollipop and thats really good......imrunning this rom from over 5 months and have not a found a single bug
I already tried it, but apps like Gmail would crash when i open any email or even opinion rewards would just force close itself. Even some parts of Hike Messenger dont seems to work on it.
Any developer thinking to port Oreo Go Edition for this device! it will be a big help for this device.
Some bugs
