Does the diamond have a FM Transmitter? If not is it possible to integrate a transmitter into it?
Thanks
It has an FM receiver
The Diamond does not have an FM Transmitter, only a FM Receiver. Eg it receives Radio stations.
Would be a good idea but im sure there isnt a way to get a FM Transmitter integrated into the diamond due to space restrictions.
Use Bluetooth for streaming music to car stereo
Use Bluetooth for streaming music to car stereo
Lots of devices that will communicate via bluetooth and then transmit via fm transmitter.
Robert315,

I stream shoutcast to my fm radio and moto will find the best fm station for you. If you get a call it will tell you what number is calling you and hit answer and the music stops, caller comes through the speak, done speaking hit talk to end call music resumes.

Wouldn't that drain the diamonds battery? since I assume the transmitter feeds on the diamonds battery..

Has anyone tried any of these? What is the quality like for music and for taking calls? Do you know the dimensions as I use a cradle? I PM'd Ambassador shortly after he posted but never got a reply. I don't want to buy one from an ebayer in a different country but have seen them here for UK: http://www.blueunplugged.com/p.aspx?p=135842
Hi i recently was wandering if it is possible if i could stream music over the radio from my music from my phone. I had an add on for my ipod nano a while back called an itrip but i was wandering if my phone (droid x) had something in it that it could use to stream music over the radio in the proximity of myself. My friend said that it is possible to use bluetooth to stream it over the radio but i don't know if that is true? If anyone was willing to make that app im sure people would love it. Is it possible?
Sure. If your car has BT built into the receiver. Or you could use an FM transmitter (basically the same thing as your itrip) through the headphone jack on your phone. Or your car stereo might have a straight aux plug-in that you can take directly from the headphone jack on your phone. Lots of options, really.
but is it possible for the phone to transmit through something it has inside to transmit it to the fm radio?
I believe that would be hardware based. I've had a few SEs and Nokias that had FM Transmitters. I think only /some/ Android phones even have FM receivers.

Has any pared a bt headset with their sensation yet? My jawbone and my jabra wont get discoverd when i search wth?
I've paired my SE MW600 headset with my Sensation and have to say it's working perfectly. Far better than my Desire HD which would frequently lose connection.
Sony bluetooth stereo headset. DRBT21G paired successfully
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e with my finger using telepathy
I've paired it with my car (Nissan Connect) and it works perfectly making calls, downloading my contacts to the car, and playing MP3's through the car's speakers.

Is SE MW600 show track info on screen while playing mp3 files ??
No it doesn't display track info, but it does show caller ID when you have an incoming call.
Thanks for quick reply,,,
But, actually, i want to know about AVRCP version on Sensation ???
MW600 specially made for SE devices for fully functionalty so maybe it's not show tag info even though AVRCP 1.3
Is anyone check it ??? Most of car BT unit has AVRCP 1.3 compatible, is anyone see music tag info on their car unit with Sensation BT ??
Is Bluetooth Voice Dialing working for you fellas?
i was just able to pair it with my Old plantronics headset. But no luck at all with my Jawbone. Can anyone with a jawbone try theirs?
I've been able to connect it to my car (Audi A4 B8)
see here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1113602
well my nexus one connected to the jawbone no problem. Dont see why this phone would have a problem.
I am just about to buy a motorola bluetooth kit to be built into my vehicle - the spec says it is bluetooth 2.0 is the sensation backwards compatible ??
im bothered if halfords fit it that it wont pair / work ... im not bothered about streaming music as i have an aux in port on my focus but want basic telephony
thanks
chris
yes bluetooth is, the voice will work but unless the 2.0 has the a2dp profile it won't stream music.
Hi all
Having got a new HTC ONE I have decided to use my sensation as a mapping/gps device.
I have got tomtom for android on it and in th epast I have just used the phones internal speaker.
My car stereo has a aux in jack so I was wondering if it is possible to get a Bluetooth adaptor to play the audio into the car stereo
But ( there always has to be a but) can I stream music at the same time?
ideally I would like the tomtom to cut out the music but I don't think it out puts the correct profile but even if it just plays over the top that could work.
is this possible or if not would it work via a cabled connection?
thanks
