If I'm not mistaken, that is where you want it to be. That is download mode.
Read any of the unbrick threads in infuse 4G android development.

that's download mode.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1293751
however, if your usb cord, or the usb on your pc or usb on your phone is bad, you should be very careful with your flash.
if it's the cord or port, use a different one.
if it's your phone, find the most reliable position before u go ahead.
if it acts up on you mid-flash, you may hard brick it

wait so there are two types of download screen modes? the yellow triangle and the ree icons?

im saying that my infuse has the same screen as the first link that i mentioned.

Brick or Not

Ok guys after flashing Refuse v1.7 then getting struck at this screen "Post At Bottom" i can't get into recovery so i try to flash ODIN back to stock I'm still at this screen...can somebody help PLEASE!!!
Can you get into download mode? Have your phone turned off then hold the volume up and down and plug in the usb connected to your computer... Should show a yellow triangle with an android digging. This is what you should put your phone into for odin in the first place. Just read the odin back to stock threads and follow directions. If your phone is still turning on you should be fine.
Edit: I'm slightly drunk right now, so if this doesn't make sense to you, respond and I will help you in the morning. Btw, thanks for posting in an appropriate section.

yes i can get into download mode...but after installing ODIN all it do is go right back into the some screen..is there a fix for this or is I'm the first person with this problem
Is the phone showing up in the COM box in Odin? Also make sure Re-partition is checked.
Sent from my Infuse. It is what it isn't.
My first guess is that you're somehow doing something wrong with Odin.
In the case of Samsung Galaxy series phones (and ours is basically a GalaxyS variant), your phone is only truly bricked if it shows no signs of life at all (black-screen hardbrick).
If you can get into download mode (either digging android, or the "phone to PC" icon), you're not bricked.
Beyond that I can't really help you - I manually did the unbrick recovery using heimdall instead of odin.

Ok this actually sounds similiar to something that happened to me, so here goes:
Was using Odin back to stock and something went wrong during. The phone screen went into a rainbow/starry clusterfack and then black. Couldn't get into download mode or anything, everytime I booted the stars came back or nothing at all. So eventually I just did what I would do if going into download, pulled batt, plugged in while holding volumes. Nothing came on to the screen but decided to continue, so I hit the volume up do accept the warning screen even though I couldn't see it and finally my phone showed up on my PC. Hit start in Odin and it worked and downloaded luckily. Sorry for the long explanation but, give this a try.
odins not seeing nothing from left to right i see
a phone --!--and a pc with a black screen some how it looks like its in some ultra low download mode :/

Never seen that but, it looks like your phone is having problems connecting to your PC, try rebooting the PC and then reconnect usb and phone.
Also I did a little googling, and I believe it means a bad flash, some ppl have fixed by a hard reset so try that link.
Here's the thread with different options, not our phone but same situation: thread

yeah this phone its hardcore unbrickable... haha as bbwolf said its just a DL screen that usually appears (at least to me) when i connect the infuse and use odin with front or externally conected USB ports also happened to me in all 3 ports of my bro laptop
Instead using the back USB ports will prevent the outpowering of the usb port and you will flash flawlessly but Infuse its harcore you really have to mess things up to brick it... if even possible 0.o
If happens again relax... go to a desktop and flash with a back USB u will be back on track in notime
Samething happened to me, I ended up getting a factory replacement. The same day I placed the order with att I finally got Odin to work.

Had that exact screen when my phone took a tumble half way in a odin flash I took battery out plugged back in and odin recognized and flashed took a really long time though to flash longer than normal not sure why

I had this same thing happen to me the other day when an Odin flash got interupted.
Use the most up to date version of Odin, and try getting Odin to recognize your phone. Try using different USB ports if it doesn't recognize right away. Dont worry about your phone being in DL mode, just try to get Odin to recognize your phone and hit go
Also, wrong section, should put this in the Q&A section. But hey, I'm no mod XD
wow. somehow i got it. i kinda did what you did, without using odin. i used hemidall (what i was using originally).

It happened to me. Heres a tip... before flashing make sure your phone has good battery because these things can happen. Even when phone is total black screen, odin or heimdall can recognize it. Just try to plug in with holding volumes and power and it will... Except when you pretty eff it up.

SOLVED! The first and only solution on the web! Infuse Endless Boot Loop.

I have been bricked alot. And restored to stock using Odin for about 15 times. But then the USB slipped out of the port during one recovery and the infuse got stuck. Now when I attempt to turn it on, the screen turn on white and flicker back to nothing. The same happens when I plug it in the computer. I cannot go to download mode. Please help me asap! I was going to give my infuse to my nephew for his birthday! First one who help me successfully will get an $20 reward PayPal or any other of the sort.

I would try a different PC first. This happened to me as well.
It seems that the drivers get screwed up when the flash is interrupted. This advice has helped several people.
Good luck bro
I'm assuming you don't get any computer notification that usb plugged in? If you do just give it a few and press up like it is in download mode. I've had a screwed up looking screen and still flashed in download mode even though I couldn't see the screen.

Try changing USB port. Adams method worked on mine.

Don't worry. I got into even worse situation, I can't even turn on my phone yesterday when I fail the odin. I thought the bootloader is dead.. charge the battery and try it again and you would put it into download mode.

Bought my jig, over a year ago....never leave home w/o it
This happened to me once. IIRC I pulled the battery, connected the phone to the computer (I don't recall if I had Odin running or not, but I'm not sure if it even matters), then held vol + and - while re-inserting the battery and the phone powered on into download mode. It's been a while since it happened and unfortunately I don't remember the exact order of the steps I took, (I was freaking out a bit and trying different things), but you may want to try this process or some variation of it. Good luck.

[Q] Rogers Infuse - white screen with a twist

Hey all,
I have an Infuse that was rooted and had a number of roms installed on, thanks to all the help on this site.
In my latest refresh with a new rom, I somehow messed things to the point that all I see is a white screen. Cant go into recovery mode or download mode either. On top of that, my computer no longer recognizes it as a device when plugged in.
The twist is, I've tried everything I could find on the forums to fix my issue, but no luck. Could be me doing something wrong. I've tried reinstalling kies multiple times, various usb's, switching ports and 2 different laptops. I have not tried a jig and hope I dont have to. Something tells me I should stop messing around once this is fixed
With all of the above said, I cant get odin or heimdall to see the phone. I also have been unable to blindly put the phone into download mode. I know the power button is not jammed, as it is not in a boot loop.
Help me out - what am I missing?
Thanks in advance.
I'd be happy to donate to the favourite rom of the solvers choice - just please help me get my phone up. I'm missing the wireless waves hitting my brain!
C'mon guys help me out...I'm dying without my phone :crying:

Not really sure...I *think* this happened as a result of me going into cwm, wiping cache, data and dalvik, and then because i read somewhere that I should do this, formatting .mnt, /sdcard, and one more that i cant remember.
Those last overzealous formatting's have put me at the mercy of my phone.

Also, not sure what OS you have been trying on, but Odin won't hardly work on windows 8, and heimdall sometimes has issues as well. Odin can't recognize my phone at all on my win 8 laptop, but I've heard anything lower is fine.
