in Arabic And Persian we write the words from right to left.. specially while writing
numbers Plus to words, everything revers!!
how can i fix this problem?
i think this option is not in the original keyboard, is saw (just i few minuts ago when i flashed rushdroid v3.6 on my 3d) that smart keyboard pro has this option download and apply that keyboard an you're good to go!

Any chance to write angled or cambered brackets (word-by-word translation, hope its correct)? I mean {, }, [ and ]
If i press the #-Button to enter the special charakter page i can find the "normal" brackets only, ( and )
is there a second page or another way to get more charakters?

Hi,
When I press the # Button to enter the special character page I can see all kind of brackets. Both [] and {}.There is also a next page button where you can find other characters.
Here is a screen shot.
thanx for you quick reply. looks really familiar from the wm5 times.. but i flashed to wm6 and now there is a complete different page (6 x 6 symbols only and no smileys for example).
bad thing is: instead of the NEXT button i can only CANCEL
forgot what rom i got (tried some), its not the perfect english one and also not phils alpha or beta
so anyone with the wm6 rom knows how to fix that?

I both used Phil's Alpha and Andot's PEE (Still using this one) . Both WM6 roms had this page.By the way I am using T9 English & Turkish.

Have to bring this Topic on Top because i suddenly realized a new problem with the t9 stuff..
i tried to switch t9 from german to english cause i wanted to send message to an english speaking friend but couldnt type anything.
After installing english t9 i didnt find german anymore, so i installed german t9 again..
Any way to have both t9 working as it was wm5 standard?

I've seen in the forum before there's a link to download the CIME keyboard which extracted from Acer. But that apk have a lot of bug. It's just only work in full-screen Hand Writing. I took a look around and can't discovered anything about this thread for a long time. Few days ago, I walked in to the mobile center in Xiamen, China then asked them that how to make the Nexus One to be able use CIME with stable Hand Writing mode. They look at my phone and said that taking a breath. Not too long, they return me Nexus One CM5.0.6 with fully functional of Chinese Hand Writing mode. No more waiting, I use Linda Manager to back up it for you.
How to install
1.Copy the file to your SD card.
2.Menu > Settings >Language & Keyboard
3.Select language & region to be 中文 next one from the last that's mean Simplifies Chinese.
4.Launch Linda Manager what can download from Market.
5.Browse the apk and install it.
6.Back to Menu > Settings >Language & Keyboard (Please use your sensitivity to go to setting because of this time it's Chinese).
7.Check at new check-box to on.
8.reboot. <-- recommend
9.Change your language & region back to English (I used Thai-ไทย it go error just can use with Chinese and English but the another I haven't try).
10.Enjoy with CIME. This version has also extracted from Acer V.1.0.0
Summary
Do not forget to install on Chinese region mode unless you do, you will face with force close in keyboard setting.

This is actually a pretty stable Chinese handwriting IME. Much better than the one extracted from HTC and it's a APK....Love it..Thanks a lot for sharing..
Just a side note, any file manager will do it, there is no need to use Linda manager.
I didn't changed my region setting to Simpfied Chinese and still able to set it up.
Yes, it can set up but can't adjust some setting.

Yes it can, turn off "Sound on keypress" in the settings...
Works for CM6 on Magic!!!
after numerous failed attempts to get HTC_CIME to work on Froyo CM6 on the HTC Magic 32A, finally found this thread and works first time! Was nearly giving up and call it a day ;-)

Hello there , im having problem with my Multi-touch keyboard its only display English keyboard , when i put more than 2 languages i change between them but still shows up English letters . i didn't have this problem when i first got my Atrix i think it happens after a factory reset i'm not sure tho ... anyway im using 2.3.4 stock rom and swype keyboard is working good with different languages please help .. thanks.
Well... You could stick with swipe. What do you need the other languages for?

Because in swipe keyboard its not fast to change the language but in multi-touch its only slide the space button to change between 2 or more languages .
Hey i just got my new note 10,1
When i saw it had the posibility to chsnge the keyboard to a 2 part i was very happy...
But when i use that keyboard it dosent work right...
Example when i press the M key i got C insted and so on.. some keys is correct, but i can't find the solution to the problem

With the two other keybords everything is fine
I happened to realise that typing is much harder on the split keyboard but i didnt notice that it was registering my inputs wrongly so im not sure about that. I tot it was just my fingers and the over-zealous autocorrect.
If its really a bug, we can only wait for a software update.

Sammy keyboard hints:
1. I have German and English keyboard activated plus T9 word proposals and switch back and forth depending in which forum I post :laugh:
Sumtimes accidently I switch to English or forget to switch back when I type German and THEN it´s a mess .............................
Word prediction is even more messy and unusable when You use the FLOATING keyboard.
Solution: before You get angry or You have no patience to train word prediction switch word prediction off (which I did) or set to have predictions only after 3 or 4 or 5 characters typed (settings!)
I have to admit Swiftkey is much better in this concern but not available as floating for Note 10.1
2. Split keyboard works nicely when word prediction is off. You might have the impression that keys respond wrongly but it´s the word prediction that types the wrong letters.
3. Either I am too clumsy or did not get it right but the change between the three types of keyboards with two fingers hardly works for me instantly. I always produce a lot of funny text until I get it switched ............... :laugh:
Maybe there is a tip from our fellows here to get the change precisely ......................
Summary: play around in keyboard settings and find Your personal settings that satisfy You .......................

I use embryo 6.6 and its just fine rom.
The only problem is it doesnt have hebrew (not in the keyboard also)
And when I'm trying to install a hebrew keyboard from playstore, the sms text I send is question marks and not letters.
The very intresting thing is that most of jelly bean roms includ hebrew build-in( and alot of other language ) But I have very bad call quality with them.
I have to stay with embryo 6.6 because of the good call quality, stock is also fine but have the same problem with hebrew..
Maby I can take lang pack from one rom and put it on mine rom?

There was a stock JB Google keyboard in the apps and themes section in which you can add languages...I use that and added Arabic to it and it works fine beside English...
Let me know if you find it, or I upload it to you...
Edit: Why don't you also try to add Hebrew in the new Swype from languages list ?
Oh..for the sms issue, go to messages settings and choose auto in input mode....
You're searching for answers to the wrong problem.
No matter what keyboard or ROM you're using, go to SMS settings and switch "Encoding" from "Automatic" or whatever it is on to "Unicode". That will solve your Hebrew turning to question marks issue.
And now you can use any Samsung ROM and any keyboard. Enjoy.
