How would I achieve this? Im fully rooted running the Sprint lovers rom. I have a custom font flashed along with my lcd density modified. The combo of the 2 makes the Sense bar look horrible. I managed to delete the sense lockscreen and it automaticly reverted to the vanilla one which is what I want. Can some one please help me to achieve this outcome on the incoming call screen. It is the only thing between me and having my Evo the way I want it.

From what I understand, I don't think it can be done. I would LOVE if there was a way to do this but I believe it is coded into the framework and it can't be removed. That's my understanding of it. Too bad
That would be good... if its possible JS would prolly be the 1 to figure it out....

Not possible with sense..the lock screen can be changed to the aosp lock screen but that doesn't remove the Htc incoming lock screen, its tied to the dialer

speaking of the sense incoming call screen, how many other people have the problem where maybe 20% of the time the screen won't respond to input and allow you to unlock or answer the call? This is pretty much the only thing that ever goes wrong with my phone lol. I end up having to just hit the power button, miss the call, and then call them back...a little annoying

I have the same issue. One of the only issues I have with my phone. The other being sliding out of my pocket answers/declines calls. Thus looking for a way to remove the slider. Guess we are stuck.
^^^ I have the same problem... doesnt happen too often, but it is annoying. Could this be due to a phone call coming in when CPU is running at a minimun setting?
Hey guys!
The NS is my 2nd Android phone, the first being the Epic 4G for about 3 weeks (no signal in home ).
Anyway, one of the cool features of the Epic was that when an incoming call came in, you had 3 options:
1) Answer/take the call
2) Send caller directly to voice mail
3) Send caller an automatic text response (it offered some common replies, as well as allowed you to customize your own text responses in its settings).
I don't know if this was a Samsung feature, or an Android 2.1 feature, but I was wondering if there was a way to set this up on our NS's, or if there's an app that offers something similar to this?
Thx!

Yeah, that's what I was a afraid of - too bad, as it's an awesome feature! Do you know of an app that can do something similar? Thx
Back on 2.1 if you hit the power button it would silence, and if you slide to reject it would send to voicemail immediately.
I'm not sure if it's still like that as I've been on CM for quiet a while now, and those were changed.

Does anyone know how I can replicate the sense function of putting the phone face down to silence the phone during an incoming call? I'm not using a sense ROM any more so would like to add this feature with tasker.
take a look right here man
I've seen that already thanks, but the apps available to do it start ringing again as soon as you turn the phone back over. On sense however it stays in silent until they've stopped trying to call. That's what I'm trying to replicate, hence why I'm wanting to do it in tasker since it's customisable.

If sense could do it then tasker should be able to too, if I knew how to do it of course!
Does anyone know how I could do this with tasker?
I have the following, just made it for you, it's rather simple:
Create a profile, name it like "Turn Down"
Add the State->Orientation:Face Down
Add the task u want to(Silence phone, block calls etc) And done.
Cheers, I'll have a look but I think when I tried last there was no option for it to only silence the ringtone for that one call. I'd actually forgotten about this thread, so I'll have another look.
Just looked again and remembered why I couldn't do it. I can't find any options to choose orientation.
How can I stop ICE from showing the make phone/internet call option when trying to make a phone call?
I never use internet calling, but can't work out how to turn it off

So.. there I was.. on a date at a packed movie theater watching Gravity 3D IMAX.. I had put my Note 3 on vibrate right before the movie, and put it in my pocket..
And then.. during a totally quiet scene.. S Voice started talking to me.. Thinking i had woken it up! Shoving my hand into my pocket and hitting the volume rocker, did not shut it up.. I kept asking me to repeat myself.. LOUDLY
So I had to take the bright ass phone out of my pocket, while half the theater was giving me dagger eyes, and quickly turned it off. Which took another 10-20 seconds.. I got dagger eyes when i left the theater as well..
After the movie, I tested S Voice.. Putting the phone on vibrate does NOT quiet S Voice.. you need to actually turn down that sound setting individually. Sigh.. That just seems silly.
I never used S Voice Wake Up except to show off the phone.. so now, I am just not using S Voice at all. Safer that way.. and the home button works SOO much faster with it off.
Lol. I'm sorry that you went through that. Thanks for the heads up. Seems like a headache. It would be nice for s voice to silence during vibrate. What a shame

I love that I can wake up S voice by voice, but there is maybe 1 false positive at least during the day so far. I hope an update can improve it.
Hi! When I'm in my car, I use AutomateIt to turn on Bluetooth, so that it links with my car. But, even when I have turned off S-voice, it automatically turns on.
Any idea how to turn it off permanently?
Thanks!

best is go to settings / general/appliaction manager side scroll in application manager, see section under " all" and select s voice " disable" .thats it !
If you want to enable it, go "same place" but when in application manager, side scroll across to the "disable section" and enable it.
Note to self, turn off S Voice when watching a movie that might possibly has the word "galaxy" in it lol.
