That doesn't matter or justify it. You might be right, you might be wrong, but what if everybody did that? The dev section would be over-cluttered with non dev stuff, and nobody wants that. If you reaaaaaaaally want to post a question in the dev section post it in the stickied Q&A thread, dont make a new one

I wanted to ask DEVS a simple question that why the links are given in TXT file why not simply
post them in the Original post regarding the ROM ?
They can try to keep track how many times it has been downloaded...
