I am just wondering if I can flash 2.3.5 gingerbread onto a Samsung SCH-R720. I currently have 2.3.4 on the phone now. Thanks for any help.

hey every one ^^ i got a ZTE Avail running 2.3.4 gingerbread I tried all known programs to root it so far and they all fail -.- if you guys could lend a helping hand or point me in the right direction so that i may free this phone XP would be greatly appropriated and thank you in advance.

Can someone explain how. I heard that this rom does not require rooting your phone, is that true?
If I need to root my phone what is the best one for a mac.

you don't need to root but to flash an adequate ROM as you said at least 2.3.6 in order to do that check
