Hi Everyone,
I would like to know whether Galaxy y s5360 can be updated with ICS v4+, i have read some articles in this forum and can someone help me out with this many andorid phones supports ICS and Y Should also.. So Kindly help me in this. Need all developers to think of this ,

I don't think that would be possible, given its specs and even if it were so, it would lag a lot.

Anyone will come up with it, i saw minimum requirement for ics is 256mb ram btw galaxy y comes with 290mb ram, so it must be available

It's so easy for you to say.
Why not develop one yourself?
btw ics also needs armv7 while galaxy y is armv6
here is the reason why galaxy y cannot run android 4
It may meet minimum requirements like processor and ram.but did you notice that android 4 requires atleast a decent gpu. The gpu in galaxy y has a poor performance . Even for playing games like nfs shift you need to have chainfire 3d on it. But you cant run android with chainfire3d.btw the gpu manufacture is ot willing to update android 4 drivers for the gpu and hence not possible.

You can still experience ICS on Galaxy Y

Hi Satish,
If you are referring to ICS per se on Galaxy Y, it's probably not possible. But we have a custom ROM called JELLYBLAST by AvijitGhosh82 here on XDA, it's a custom rom which for Galaxy Y which makes you experience ICS/JB on your Galaxy Y.

galaxy tab gt-p1000 is running in 2.2 froyo.. i read some threads here that i need to upgrade it to gingerbread.. but i dont see any guide.. please help..
Haha this is the P6200 section. But it never hurts to help so anyway here is what u need to do.
1-go to the "Samsung galaxy tab" section and then go into android development.
2-look for "overcome rom" install this rom. This rom will get u running gingerbread. (On the overcome rom page there is a complete guide on installing the rom from A to Z)
3-Since that's done there is another thread in the android development section called ummm something like AOKP or android open kang project build 40?
4-download it and place it and copy the file to ur tab and boot into recovery and install it.
And there u go ur tab will be running ics 4.0.4

u should go to P1000 section..not here..lolz...
after having my samsung galaxy ace s5839i for about a month iv just realised it was rooted i downloaded an app called root uninstaller witch alows me to delete systam apps but i deleted my status bar (the one at the top) and now i dont know how to get it back please can someone help ever on here or pv msg me thanks.
You can always install a new ROM. Galaxy Ace has good development so there are plenty to choose from

As the titel in topic said, i wonder becourse i'm totally new and always in for a challenge.
So i wonder what software i can put in the GT-S5570 instead of the gingerbread 2.3.6
Also where to find a tutorial to start from scratch.
I don't need a lot, what i use most is phone of course, camera and photofunction, calculator and internet browser.
gps if possible and of course the install of zoiper voip.
i don't need so many gadgets, i like to keep it work smootly as possible.

Guys please help i just flashed cm11 on my galaxy s3 sgh-i747 d2att and every thing went wrong, my YouTube doesent work or eny video on chrome or my browser but kodi works. But then my speakers dont make eny sound when I play a video or use my apps and games. And alot of apps don't work They stop when I open them. I tried flashing other roms but that didn't work neither . so I flashed a firmware for my device and that still didn't work, someone please help I want my s3 back to normal.
