the Time stamps are consistanly like this.....this is why im pretty sure the Cell Stand by is related to me having WiFi on.
ok so at about 9pm i noticed cell stand by pop up on my battery stats, didnt think any thing of it as usuall. so awake this morning and my battery went from 70% to 17% over night. this is not normal for my phone. and just to be clear, i know what cell stand by is i know the math and what battery stats show. and usually when this happens i just reset the phone and after a couple hours it will go away as other processes eat up the battery.
My question is, is there a way just remedy this all together? will turning on Airplane mode completely kill this problem. i will be doing that today when i get home to test this out.
The pictures show the time of use, both have 10 hours and some change. so they were both running all night which is what i normally see when this dumb stuff happens, im just finally seeing if someone can shed some light on it.
any thoughts or suggestions, again its not a big problem that reseting my phone does not seem to cure. but im just curious.
bump........i know some has an answer i have been looking and i have only found people guessing and pretty much stating what i already know. and of course the common of all answers " reflash the Rom"
Last bump for an answer.
EDIT .....turning on airplane mode fixed for me.
Cheers to me.

I noticed a small upward movement in battery level graph under battery usage screen on my phone. Yesterday too I noticed the same, but ignored it. But today, I'm totally perplexed on the increase.
Am attaching a screenshot for the same. You can notice the little upward movement towards the later part in the graph.
Any explanation would be well appreciated

This is the most obvious answer of all of the stupid questions on here... ROMs rarely report battery level perfectly.

I know kind sir. But this has been happening only y'day n today, n I've been on this rom since abt a week now. Never noticed this on any of my earlier phones or roms. Posted this to see if anyone else too observed the same.
And let me add to it: I noticed bumps like this on a restart. Not while the phone was still on.

If on a restart - the fuel gauge chip probably got reset when you restarted.
I'm not sure if restarting the phone resets the chip. I'm 100% positive a battery pull will.

I did a battery pull today. Gotta see if that helps.
Honestly that bump is incredibly minor - I wouldn't worry about it at all.
I have been running CleanRom 3.0 for about 7 months now and have been getting great battery life. For the last week or so I have been getting horrible battery life and i cannot figure out why. I have not done anything different or added any apps since the fall. I have done all the tips and tricks to saving battery ....display set at 10%/30 seconds, All notifications turned off, gps off, bluetooth off etc... I can usually get an average of 22 hours before needing to look for a charger.
Today:
10.5 hours and 12% left. Not even 2 hours of screen time. I have phone forced on 3g and get good reception at my home where I was for most of the day.
Can someone please give me some insight here? maybe I'm missing something??

Maybe your battery itself.
There are far to many variables that play a part in battery life.
Look into 5.6 and remember to toggle off data and WiFi when not in use.
Worth a try.
Edit: now I clearly see you toggle WiFi and data off when not in use. Haha sorry.

Agreed, try changing kernel or kernel settings, gov types, speeds, tweak options.
Sometimes it take alot of trial and error to figure out the best rom/kernel combos. May also have to change a few things in the rom and/or kernel to do so. Goodluck!
You can try an app call "Better Battery Stats"
I will try to give the back story as fast as I can. I was using synergyROM build like 123 for long time on S3, my screen cracked, and I backed up the phone. When bestbuy got my phone in I picked it up and before I got home it got the OTA update and it took me a bit to find how to root it with the update. got it rooted and restored and than updated to SynergyROM 373(newest build). It was just burning my battery up fast as can be. The phone was getting hot at times of use as well. I read that cleanROM was stable as can be, so I came here. After wiping everything and installing the battery might be a little better but not much.
Questions are, Is it cause something is still messed up from the SynergyROM flash?
Could it be something to do with the phone its self? Maybe its a refurbed phone and something is still wrong with it?
Here are some screen shots of my phone info.

Try not talking on the phone all day and only connect to wifi and 4g when needed. Then post some screenies with screen time on amount

I use my phone for work so I have to talk all the time, so thats not an option. Before this phone I would get though a day just fine.
Usually you want to give a 2-3 days for things to "settle down" before you can start judging the battery life (after rom flash usually). It could also be that you have a defective phone. BetterBatteryStats would also give more details of battery usage.
To me, your battery usage looks normal comparing to your activities.
If anything, I would probably lower my voltage or even underclock your device just a tad to squeeze some battery life out of it.
My LG G3 has been working fine since the day I got the phone. Was also rooted on day one. I have done absolutely nothing to it besides rooting it. I woke up this morning and unplugged from the charger. After an hour of absolutely 0 use, the battery went down to 80%. It is now down to 35% after a few hours and the phone remains hot. Any suggestions as to what I could do to fix this? I have also posted a screenshot of betterbatterystats,
EDIT: I did go into WIFI settings and changed Keep WiFI on when screen is off to NO this morning. I have since changed it back to YES and the overheating problem has gone away. Anyone had this problem before?

How long have you had the phone? You may want to restore (unroot) and return the phone for a new one.
Hi
I have been having this issue for a couple of months and i do not know where i would start to troubleshoot
Basically with full charge every time i use either the Maps or a game (what i noticed anyway) it shuts off and after a couple of attempts to turn it back on it would come on but the battery will be 1 or 2%. and i have to charge it again.
I have flashed it to stock and used pretty much all the ROMs available with no success(. It seemed like a hardware issue but i do not know what it is. I could try replacing the battery but i am not convinced that is the problem.
I did not drop it or abuse it in any ways. Always kept it clean .
I am attaching a screenshot of the battery after it happened
If anyone has any idea of what could it be and share i would REALLY appreciate it
Thank you
