I didnt find any solution ( or may be i missed one)
My dad bought a New Galaxy R and software version is 2.3.5 so obviously its a GingerBread.
I do not have Video and Voice chat features enabled in the (G)TALK.
I own a Nexus one (Rooted) and no issues with it.
Because my Dad's Galaxy R is NOT Rooted, how do i enable the video/audio chat ?

If the phone is rooted, try installing InfectedROM v1:

Apart from having audio/video calling, it has the advantage of being free of samsung's bloatware. I have used it for a few weeks without any problem.

If use infected rom means by default u will get gtalk viedo call so nicely

Hi guys finally back and front camera is working and video call is going awesome on the firmware

And even if there isn't, wouldn't it mean installing market one itself when we update?
Market Skype will only update apk not Skype library files so,new market Skype would be running old patched library files!
If there is a further problem send me your kenral and rom details!

if you want a tested and working version of skype for 9003 just googling a file called Skypev13ogl.apk
this is not last version but the one before, and this has a patch for rotating issue.

Yes, I have tested between my i9003 and a iPhone 3GS. And the guy with the iPhone can see me. Not tested yet with a computer, but I think it doesn't change.

I have used that. Atleast the video calling worked for me unlike others, but had rotating issue.
And now if i'm trying to use it, it fcs and then wifi stops working. Wifi error. Same with market skype.
Only this skype works, though the caller cant see my video

Well, this phone doesn't comes with Adobe Flash Preinstalled but you can install if from Google Play store and Flash Websites are well supported by this device after installing the Adobe Flash Application.. :good:

I was receveing many PMs about this app so i decided to make a thread so everyone can see and use this app. You can use this app on any gingerbread based roms ( like cm based and stock based ) and on any ICS or Jellybean based rom too.
This is the app that all of us lost when we install our first rom, and many people miss this app, so now you can use it on ur favorite rom, it's pretty light and i didnt face any lagg with it. This app only works as a battery saver and not as a task manager like some other similar apps.
Download the attachment and just install it as normal apk. Enjoy it

Thnks... But how u know that it's an official Samsung energy saver coz I didn't saw it on my Fit with Froyo 2.2.1 when I bought it (~2 yrs ago).

It isnt come with my fit too bro. But it comes on my aunt's galaxy s2 and with my cousin's galaxy mini, and i already read that it comes on many other sansumg android smartphones

After i create this thread i saw many people creating threads for other devices with this apk ( some guys are from gfit forum and only take the apk and put it into some download servers), but i didnt see people giving me credits for this APK, i am really thinking in close this thread, who already "take" the apk from me not even pressed thanks. I am impressed with this guys.
P.S Before i open this thread i searched on XDA if someone already has posted it.

the app works superbly . as soon as I off the screen the app disables edge from my mobile until I wake my device . it also allows sync in certain time interval .
there is not even a single percent battery drop when the screen is off which is awesome !

everything is pretty smooth only the messaging app seems to have a small bug, it doesn't send messages.
other than that everything works just fine n really smooth.
u can try it if u dont send messages really often. hope this helps.

does other sms app work, like go sms pro? because i send hundreds of sms all the time! but if i cant send, im not flashing the rom!
Best suggestion is may be maclaw.pl thats right, but domain is now : novafusion.pl - SIII mini
The developers of novafusion.pl release many roms, also for Galaxy SIII mini. You can find a lollection of the rom by clicking the LINK. They changed the name of the website recently.
The provided roms run stable (in most cases) and i never had any issues installing them You will the rom's threads on xda-developers too but its easier to have all listed in one place
