Since installing the test ics RUU my xda app does not function very well namely poor scrollability.
Unfortunately, i am too stupid to do anything about it but, on a sight that has the best developers around, i hope that this will be addressed very shortly.
It's not just the xda app that scrolls like that. For me at least, all apps seem to have some sludge like scrolling.
What ROM are you using?

It's not a bug, its a feature of the new ICS builds that have a different method of scrolling, though calling it a feature might be stretching it, I would call it a slight annoyance

Yeah its a slight annoyance but when you have to scroll through long threads e.g ARHD 6.0.0 ROM thread it straight up bugs me.

Go to Settings>Developer Options and turn on 'Force GPU scrolling' (assuming it's there)
Works in stock ICS so may help here

We have force GPU rendering. Not sure it's the same thing but doesn't do any good and breaks other apps!

You have it in custom ROMs but if you've not tried the option then give it a go. Yes, it might stop other apps working but I've not had any issues on my GN
I've actually been using it since install. None of my apps have issues (i had no idea it could break some apps till now.) Seems I'm lucky...

Hi all
On my Sensation today a few times its just closed down when im surfing away, when i restart it, its fine. Its not a big issue but its kinda annoying.
This happened to anyone else??
Chris
Happened to me too. I just ignore it really.
RAM overload. Happens all the time when your looking at heavy webpages, commonly with flash on then but it doesn't always have to have it on.
Browser on 2.3.4 is quite flawed in some aspects.

Hi people quick question I am running the HTC sensation xe ics leaked ruu however I have noticed I have no sound (through media such as YouTube and videos) music plays fine and all phone sounds work has anyone else had this problem?
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using XDA Premium App
It's a known bug with ALL ICS w/Sense final releases. A reboot temporarily fixes the issue.
Apparently nobody knows what causes this, but it has something to do with listening music.

I just noticed on Viper Rom (probably any Sense 4 Rom) that when using a good pair of ear buds that block out all sound, you can hear a hum in the background when swiping between screens and going into apps. It's almost like a touchscreen thing. Once you stop swiping and settle on a home screen it stops, but once you switch screens again the hum comes back. Anyone know or can verify this? I'm using a pair of etymotic HF2s with a really good seal, so no other noise is present.

Sorry to bump this back up, but anyone willing to test or confirm/deny? I'm going to roll back to Sense 3.6 and see if the same thing happens.
Can confirm

Thanks for testing. BTW - what Rom did you test this on?
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using Tapatalk 2
That could be a hardware problem to me and could be a ground issue there shouldnt be hum in the back ground of any kind

I went back to a nandroid of Sense 3.6 and it virtually disappeared. So it leads me to possibly think of something in Sense 4... But who knows....so many factors...kernel, base, firmware...
I still love Sense 4, but would be great if more can test.

Hi guys, I recently installed ViperS rom and since then the three buttons on the ibeats headphones don't work.
Any solutions?
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using xda app-developers app
Hi you might have better luck posting this on the viper development site. They know the tips and fixes better for viper. Also others might be experiencing the same issue and know of a fix for it. Also on that site, everyone is using the same Rom so you have more chance of getting your issue resolved there. I hope this helps. I wish you the best and hope you get your issue resolved soon .

it seems the headset is not properly configured in the rom ..you can still use some apps to configure the buttons though ..like headset button controller (its a paid app though) ..btw the app works wonderfully as i was able to configure my ex iphone headset buttons on sensation ;D
If you have a problem keep it to yourself.

Hey guys I really need to solve it today.
Button controller didn't work, what else can I try?
The problem is not in the headset for sure. Working well with other devices.

Hi there, Is there any other sound mods or apps to make my music sound better through my phone speaker. I have tried viperforandroid fx and that doesn't seem to help. On my last phone, galaxy s I9000 I had voodoo sound and that worked perfectly. Is there anything like that for our beloved sensations... Thanks in advance

Look up acid audio mod. I'm sure there are many 3rd party apps that boost audio in the play store as well.

Thanks for that, I will go and have a look now

Thanks but I have already tried that. I've just flashed ac!d engine v5 via aroma and the beats modded dsp doesn't work at all and wen I choose walkman addon, the system fails to start :/

Here's a mod for rooted users: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2220761
Of course, make sure you make a nandroid backup before you flash it.
Also, look up rockodev's beats audio mod app. It's on the xda forum somewhere. It's also on Google play store (also requires root)

Thanks but my Rom ViperS 1.6.3 has already got beats audio, also has Dolby srs etc but there only for headsets, I just can't seem to find anything for the speaker

It's ok, thanks for urs and everyones help. I have just found a app on the play store called bass booster and it does take away the high pitch sound and kind of makes it abit better. I love my sensation too much to get rid for a phone that has better sound quality. Thanks again tho

Can't you set up like compression and stuff like that for beats audio for the speaker because in the set up there's options for the headphone and the speakers and for Bluetooth stuff correct me if I'm wrong.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using xda app-developers app
Yes, if you use like DSP manager, you can adjust the equalizer for the speakers and Bluetooth, but as far as I know, there isn't a special mod that improves speaker quality.
