Reaper V4.0 ROM
Ok guys,
Given the latest batch of ICS derivatives, I was of a mind of never even releasing this in the wild, but as I liked the outcome, maybe someone else also will.
This was may pet project for the last few days (now months). It's a complete build from source of the latest CM7 branch, plus a modified kernel by me, and some addons and tweaks. As of V2.0, I included my very own homegrown launcher, which is the fastest thing I ever saw running on my phone. This rom and all its features have now taken control of practically all my free time, so if you want to buy me a beer, it's very much appreciated.
As of V2.2, I include my latest side project: UCS - Ultimate Call Screen. It allows you to define a Full Screen caller ID with "normal" low res contact pic, hig-res pictures defined per contact, or default HD picture for all, incorporates a contact manager, homegrown image cropper, facebook syncing, theme support, swipe gestures, and also a call blocker with white list/black list, block unknown callers, etc.
Comparing with an official CM7 build, the main features are:
Note: The included versions of FTL and UCS are meant to be used with Reaper ROM only. They are designed not work on other ROMs, and I am not responsible if you attempt to do so. Well, if fact I am responsible for the "side effects", but you've been warned. This is my way of saying thanks for all the support I got on this thread.

Basic Features:
- Choose pictures from gallery, take from camera or link to Facebook friends using their HD profile pictures
- Apply pictures to contacts directly from your gallery, with the android "share" function. Just choose "Add to UCS"!
- Answer calls with buttons, sliding buttons, rotary buttons, swipe gestures... You choose!
- Configure your phone to hangup calls, put on speaker or mute ringer simply by turning the phone screen-down!
- Swipe gestures (reject and answer calls, reject with sms, reply to sms, ...)
- Call blocker (whitelist, blacklist, block unknown numbers, block selected contacts, block by prefix)
- Fullscreen SMS receiver

- Took out PDroid patching support from Reaper control: the patch potentially screws up a lot of things. You want it, do it yourself, your responsibility.

- Updated UCS to V7.2.0: for those not familiar with the market versions, this is a completely different animal than the version shipped on previous Reaper

- It's been over 5 months since last Reaper, too much has changed. A full wipe is required, period. You won't regret it...
- Flash the V4.0 zip
About overclocking and undervolting
If you are on these threads, a certain amount of knowledge is expected. Overclocking and undervolting can be dangerous, lead to battery pulling, and by now I hope you know that's the last thing you want to do to a Desire S. If you don't do anything, this rom comes configured with quite sensible options, that should be stable for everyone while providing very (extremely) good speed and decent battery life. If you go down the overclocking/undervolting way, you're on your own. I'm not responsible, nor will I guarantee any help with issues that you cannot confirm that also happens at stock frequencies/voltages.
This being said, it's up to you, your choice. Blue pill or red pill.
The idea behind this project was for me to try out non-sense roms, and try to build the fastest thing I could. Well, I haven't used AOSP or CM roms extensively so I can't really compare. But this is fast. As in REALLY REALLY fast.

my new daily ROM... for this moment only one bug - in cyanogenmod settings when I want change possibilities of locked screen app is shutdown...
but this ROM is very very very fast!!!

Just wondering lowveld, if you could manage to check out the Tiamat kernel?
Its much better than the Cyanogen default kernel, with more governors and clock speeds etc.

Download ROM from the link below, and save it to your sd-card ie: /downloads/
Go to your recovery and FIRST make a nandroid backup in case something gets messed up..
First Time Flashing? Make a -> FULL userdata/factory reset.
Wipe Wipe & Wipe -> cache, dalvik-cache
Browse and Flash the downloaded ROM file in this case in sd-card/downloads/

» FAQ
Q: Why aren't new apps being moved to SDCARD?
A: Make sure you have your SDCARD partitioned, also upgrade your SDCARD extension to ext3 or ext4.
Q: Why is my camera not working as it's supposed to?
A: You have probably flashed another Kernel other than the Stock, make sure the Kernel is fully compatible with this OTA version..
Q: My Battery is draining like crazy, why?
A: There could be many reasons, but make sure you calibrate you battery after installing the ROM, Battery Calibration app is a good way to go. Also disable Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth when not in use. Learn more here.
Q: I have made a request and did not see the it done, what happened?
A: Unfortunately I only have my free time to develop the ROM, please be patient and you will see it eventually.

Messaging speed has more to do with your carrier and how many bars you have. The ROM does it job to "ping" your carrier to get the message.
Edit: Nitrous ROM handles pretty good when it comes to rendering text and images.

I actually tried ICS but it's just not very stable for evo yet. So I'll stick with sense with 2.3.5.

Just what i've been waiting for.
Great another Rom, thanks. But i'm stuck on the eeepad logo, does not boot. I wiped all and format system as per instructions. Anyone else ?

cant get wifi on. skipped past it at initial setup as it wouldnt go past "wifi turning on"
tried from settings menu with the same result - rebooted to see if it would help but still the same issue.
tried toggling airplane mode to see if it would kick its arse into gear etc but no luck.
otherwise everything else seems fine so far

AOKP has a nice switch-area, with the standard switch from ICS, for almost everything you can think of: from wifi, gps, bt, to notifications, soft buttons, etcetera. Implementing it would be a lot nicer way than the Asus one (although both are pretty good), and it would let us some more customization (endless space for switches instead of the 6-8 possible icons. Swiping is not recommended in such areas)

BTW video rec works perfectly for me
Bugs are :
- Screen freezes when CPU is under heavy usage
- FM radio doesn't work
- no torch toggle in notification drawer
- Flash player is buggy
- Some settings that need gallery can FC sometimes

if I'm not mistaken, this needs to be activated from settings - interface - notification widget - widget buttons

Which should be activated?
Best ICS Rom but lags speedy performance
It's almost a fully working stable rom with no FC's but not fast means that its a little bit lagy
If the performance has been optimized then : it's a keeper and suitable for everyday use

Epsylon no have HWA his library is rare... no have 4.0.4 to quarx update his CM9
So when Quarx releases 4.0.4 nightly we can have Codename 2.0.0 ?
Tried this one today, but it kept rebooting spontaneously, System UI kept crashing. So I went back to the ROM I was at before. Will try next version when available

3. Do not flash anything else (except kernels) If you flash any mods you will most likely have issues.

Helpful Tips:
How to setup some of the basic features
Changing how you answer your phone
1. Settings -- CyanMobile Settings -- calls
2. Check allow incall ui touch this will give you a ui to answer/reject calls (you must uncheck the two settings above this or you will be unable to answer your phone)
3. Also you can recheck the two options to use the menu and back keys and then either the buttons or the ui will work
Setting up GPS
1. Settings -- Main Settings -- Location & Security
2. Check Use wireless networks
3. Check Use GPS satellites
4. Select GPS source then select Use Internal GPS
5. Last one is your choice (it does use your mobile data) Check Use assisted GPS
Second there is a built in a2sd but needs to be setup.
1. Settings-- development -- check mount SD on boot and enable download on SD.
2. Reboot
3. Settings -- applications -- preferred install location -- sdext
4. Settings -- cyanmobile settings -- check allow application moving
5. Select install location and choose sd-ext
6. Now reboot
From now on all apps will automatically be on sdext.
You can go into settings -- application -- manage applications
If everything was done correctly then you will have an option to move to sdcard and move to sd-ext/phone.
Now I know some of yall are getting tired of setting up this rom every time I put out a new release. While this wont save everything it will save most of our settings. Open CyanMobile settings and scroll over to Utilities and you will find options to back up and restore. Just follow their instructions.
To disable boot audio
Settings -- CyanMobile Settings -- Performance
Uncheck enable boot sound and reboot (I have tested and this does work)

Yes it's possible. But i am not thinking to add to my app

Thank you so much I got FC feedbacks on google play but i didn't get any feedback from xda
If anyone wants any parameter just send me /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0 folder ,most of parameters is in it. I am waiting for all feedbacks
And i forgot something. My friend have a kitkat phone and he had problems with service,when he kill app service is killing to and not restarting. Anyone using kitkat had this problem ? Please inform me

The biggest update came !!! I wrote from zero. Your profile will reset but i think it worth. I will add hotplug parameters next update
I found a bug on new version. If you try to apply an old profile it stops. Please dont use your old profiles until next update
Edit: Fixed ! i uploaded hotfix update
