Slacker radio crashing in kk4 - Captivate General

I like to listen to slacker and use google maps during my drive home. CM7 never has a problem with this but I found that when using kk4 or ROMS based on it that Slacker would crash as soon as I started up maps. If anyone else is experiencing this I have found the fix is to install the corn kernel and apply the ExistZ tweak from the CWM settings. Hope this helps someone.

[Q] google music crashing

Starting yesterday I've found Google Music to be unusuable. It has worked fine up until yesterday. Now it will list the songs in my Google Music collection but won't play anything also, every few minutes receive a message that the program has quit responding and a prompt to send a report to Google. I've uninstalled the program, reinstalled with reboots in between, still no luck. There was an update to Google music yesterday but that didn't help the problem. Running T-Mobile Stock Gingerbread 2.3.4 Google Music 4.0.9. Any ideas?
Happened to me as well, though I believe I updated my Sensation a few days ago
Well I managed to fix it by uninstalling once more and updating. *shrugs*

Team EOS Rom and Maps issue

Hello-
So, I've been on the nightly for a while now. I've noticed that the Maps application launches every time I perform a boot of my Xoom. I've been on the Team EOS Nightly 89 for a couple of weeks. Is anyone else experiencing maps launching on boot? I also look into my running apps and I see 2-3 map apps running. Not sure how that is possible. Not sure if this is ICS or the ROM.
Let me know if this is a known issue or if there is a fix.

It is normal for Maps to be running the NetworkLocationService at boot, and other services periodically.
Zanshin is right.
If maps is part of system/app you really don't have a choice.
It is possible to make it to a user app though and freeze it at startup using Autostarts from the market though without suffering ill effect.

Need some help guys (nexus s 4g)

Hello all I need some input on custom roms. I have tried about three different roms and so far they were all the same... Well same problem... I've used apex, codename android and now I'm on cm9 but with all those roms I lost my navigation. I don't care about losing all my Google apps but I really use my navigation a lot, is there any custom rom that let's me keep it.
I mean on the Site nexus hacks he seemed to have kept navigation on both apex and codename android but I lost them. I usually wipe everything install the rom then gapps then matrx1 if I feel like using it. My main thing was trying to find a working rom that would allow me to use Gamecih on ics 4.0.4,but now I also need my navigation.
Also I seem to drop 3g more with cm9.
My guess is that something you are installing is causing the issue with navigation. I would do a full wipe, install cm9 and gapps. Then install Google maps and try navigation. If it works with nothing else installed, then it's one of your other apps.
I lost it also when I use the apex from. Just go to the play store under "my apps" and download google maps again. Then you'll get navigation back. That's what I do.

Ok wow I'm dumb lol I thought google maps and navigation were two different apps, thanks guys that worked like a charm, Gamecih still don't let me do certain stuff but that's just cause ics.
Guess now all I need is to get my matrx1 back then I'm good.
Oh be for I finish up is there any reason as to why my 3g seems to be lower at most times? Or any way to boost it and wifi

Hi there
I'm running CM10 stable, but the xoom is crashing when I launch google maps, or it's related apps (navigation, local, etc)
Any idea how I can fix this?
Have you tried clearing the data and let it redownload?

BBC iPlayer Radio Android 9 Crash

BBC iplayer Radio app keeps crashing in Android 9. I thought it was because I was on the Beta version, so suffered the clean wipe and installed the stable full version today only to find that the app still crashes from time to time. I have seen no update for it for a long time and obviously they never answer any questions or respond to feed back. So I am wondering if anyone else is having problems with this app and if they are is there any cure or do we have to wait until they fix it? Any help appreciated.
I'm on stable and mine works fine, no crashing. Silly question, but I assume you already cleared the data, uninstalled and reinstalled the app.
I've started using an app called Radio UK, as a nice favorites and you can add tons of different stations including the BBC ones.
