How to set Voodoo Control as "high priority" - General Questions and Answers

I have Droid Charge/Infinity
Also, have VoodooControls Plus. By Supercurio.
Here's best I can do description of the issue:
1. turn Tunewiki or Pandora on
2. plug in aux cable to connect to stereo
3. press volume button up
4. 2 green slides show on the screen - one for device volume and one, at the bottom, for analog volume, which is Voodoo volume.
5. both show 100% volume. actual output volume is quite low
6. stream music for about 25 minutes (that's what I found after weeks of observing it). during this time, you can press volume button up, volume does not change. as in it does not get louder
7. after 25 or so minutes, press volume button up
8. at this point, 2 green volume gauges on the screen will show: upper, device volume, at full; lower, analog, or Voodoo volume, will be at 75%. this happens by itself, without actually lowering volume with the phone volume button
9. press phone volume button up, and it will go back to 100% on analog, except that this time, it will be really loud.
normally, because of this, I start streaming with car stereo set to 21 on volume. after 25 minutes, I have to turn it down to about 13, so much difference it makes.
can't explain it any better. what it is, is like as if volume voodoo amplifications starts at "choked" level, without being brought to full power, and then, after about 25 minutes, it goes full throttle, loud, good bass, very powerful. been like this ever I installed your pgm, which is about what - 2 mths or so? Had it reinstalled few times too, when I changed ROMs on the phone. it's the same problem regardless of ROM.

As usual, no ETA
Anyone knows, how to fix that lag? It's extremely annoying and distracting, as I use it only when streaming music driving.

[Q] Vibrant sound SOFTER

I have searched and maybe I have overlooked it but I can't find anything other then maybe using an inline volume control. I wear earphones during work and I would like to make the volume go lower, or just have an over all better range of control for the volume.
Currently it seems like it is say 20-30 thru 100
Would like it to actually go down to 01 or 05. then move up maybe a slider or something other then the volume buttons with what 16 levels of adjustment.
Just seems that the lower limit could be set to be well... Lower. and maybe have an on screen volume slider or a hack that can be done to the phone like the louder one.
I am hoping that this is making since. If not hit me up.

[Q] One Volume Button for All

Using a Samsung Epic 4G under Sprint. I believe Gingerbread is on here. Is there a way I can set this phone so that all the different sound volumes (except for media) is controlled via the one main volume control? As it is now, notifications have there own volume control. At the end of the night, when going to bed, I usually lower the ringer volume to the lowest setting (lowest without being off), but the notification sounds, such as if someone texts me, remains loud. I have to manually go into the SETTINGS > SOUND > VOLUME to control that separately. Would be nice to all just follow my MAIN volume switch.

Different volume setting

Hello, I remember that in stock Gingerbread of the Blur UI of my Atrix 4G , when I plug my headphone into the phone, the volume setting will change so that I will have a specific volume setting when the headphones are plugged in. This is quite helpful in the situation where you do not want your ringer volume to be at maximum when you are using your headphone (sometime the volume level change scare you) and want it to be back at maximum when you unplug it. But when I switched to the Omega ROM v16 for the Note 2, it seems that it only have a single volume setting for everything. For example, if I set the ringer volume to maximum, when I plug my headphones in and there is a call, it becomes quite noisy... Any mods for specific volume setting?

Remove volume popup with Tasker

Is there a way to set up tasker to automatically press OK when the volume warning message pops up?

Click to collapse
Not as far as I know, but you can set tasker to set media volume (above the warning message) and then just select where you want it to be. Once you're above the media warning, it should not ask again.
Like media volume 15
Wait 1 sec
Media volume 5 (my normal media volume)
and then you should be able to freely move up and down.
So profile->Music app opened->Media volume 15 (or lower. Just above the warning. Test it). Then I would wait a sec and lower it to 4-5 again. But that's just me.
Note that you would need to do that with headphones connected. It remembers one volume setting for media through your speaker and another for media through headphones, so if you set the speaker volume to 15, it doesn't care (apparently, they're fine with you damaging your hearing that way), but it will warn you when you try to set headphone volume up high.

[BUG] boosted volume outside app

Nexus 6p / stock and not rooted 6.0.1
I got the app, started using it but afterwards the volume for everything was boosted to +100% making the lowest volume setting equal or higher than the former maximum my phone was capable of.
Podcasts are distorted slightly but enough to make me go without in most cases. Nevermind that the volume is loud even at the lowest possible setting.
Actions I have taken:
Turn off volume boost
Lower volume in mx player
Uninstall
Reinstall
Other odd items
When adjusting volume with physical buttons the slider jumps down or up seeming to account for the expanded 30 step volume but never reaches the original minimum.
While adjusting volume on my Bluetooth headset the media volume adjusts as well in increments of 5, it did not do this previously.
Hoping for a swift resolution as my phone is completely useless for listening to music or podcasts while this persists. Any ideas are welcome.
Unpaired my bt headphones, LG 730, and re-paired. No effect, everything from OP still present.
My Bluetooth stereo on my car is not effected, volume works normally.
Hmm, I would try enabling the system volume panel in options, then adjusting the volume with that enabled, so that MX explicitly changes the system volume as well, see if that will reset anything.
