Hi guy few days i dropped my phone in a lake i looked a lot but couldn't find it but as i have synced my phone to gmail and my gmail a/c still shows my phone model and installed apps from android market is this going to be a problem when i synced my next phone to the same gmail id or do i have to remove the previous phone from gmail if yes then how b/c i lost my phone please help me as i m getting a new tomorrow

Don't know if you can remove it ... But you won't have a problem .. each phone is different when it comes to apps...

Ok,
I noticed my battery was being killed quite alot and i couldnt work out why, then my mate relised my phone is constantly syncing the whole time.
now i have already turned off auto-sync, gone through all my accounts, turned most apps to sync manaually and also got juice defender and canceled a few apps (like stocks) disabled to connecting.
Now i noticed every time i restart my phone, it comes up saying syncing in task bar at top. now if i go to accounts all the sync symbols are all greyed out (black shows its syncing). I cant seem to find what the is atcually syncing. But the button at the bottom says cancel sync, i press that and it all stops syncing.
My problem i have is i think its my google account which is stuck doing contacts, but i want to know why it doesnt it stop syncing, it almost gets caught in lop and stays on complete the whole time the phone is on unless i manually stop it??
Can anyone help me?

EDITED - Also just noted that my enhanced email hotmail account is under as exchange, it could this that is stuck as sync. although when i cancel all syncing i still get emails?

EDITED - Ok little more update, if i go to accounts and sync, cancel sync, Everything stops syncing. Then i go through like facebook, exchange, google and sync now, it comes up in task bar syncing and then dissappears afterwards when finished. So question is what is getting stuck syncing everytime i retsart my phone??
No one has any ideas??

Well i think its because of htc sense account...remove it...it might help...on my sensarion it used to sync continously and make copy of all my contacts again and again...so i just login with the google, facebook for htc sense, facebook, exchange, htc sense one by one to find out who is the culprit...and it was htc sense..

Can someone plz help. Im running the latest coredroid and just recently deleted my entire contect list by mistake. And i hadnt backup'd it. Now Ive got all contacts back and spent several hours adding them in again. I dont like synking with google, facebook or any of that so i havent. But now every time i get a sms or a call, all it shows is the phone number and the blue android as photo, even if i got photo on most of my contacts. Why isnt it showing the info from the contact list.

Hi All,
Does anyone get a message on the Phone (seemingly on any ROM), with the word "Sending..." at the bottom of the screen? Phone is a Sensation (Not XE)
This happens (or is noticed more) when I do a factory reset, and even before I can add a wifi point, or even before I add the Google account I get a pop-up message saying "Sending..."
I'm currently on a Funzy ROM, but even using other's (Elegancia, InsertCoin, Energy, Doesn't matter using either ICS or Gingerbread) I still get the pop-up message saying "Sending...". See screenshot attached.
Does anyone know what this is referring too since I don't have an email account setup at this point?

I get this message aswell, it seems to happen to me when i change sd card or go through settings.
im feeling paranoid about what its sending, maybe its automated error reports
maybe its collected information about me being send to developers or andriods headquarters
but whatever it is there must be a setting to way to disable it.
I also have this before. What I did was to format all partitions including sd card and reinstalled a fresh rom.
Do a backup of your items first.

I have been getting the same message on my Samsung S3. Can't fund much information anywhere about it but I think it maybe the email program. Are you running exchange active sync?
I have turned off the email check frequent on my Gmail account to see if that stops it. I will let you know what I find out.

Got a strange issue with my sensation, a couple times a month all the pictures in my contacts are missing.....
these pics are synct from my facebook account...
When i open up my fb app after this i need to login again and re-sync my contacts.
Don't no why but it seems android or facebook won't remember my login permanent :silly:

I have the exact same problem but don't know what's causing it. I think it has something to do with an error in Android's autosync. It acts similarly to what happens to when I change my facebook password and usually occurs at times when other apps also have trouble syncing, making me think the sync error causes the facebook app to believe the authentication token it has is invalid and so it asks for your password again. This is just my best guess though. Anyone else have any ideas?

Hi Right ive managed to get the Rom flashed etc etc
No i cant get the beats driver on there. Does it not show beats or do i have to have life without it?
Also i backed everything up to drop box before. Does that mean i cant get my contacts and mail from drop box now? HTC sync'd it for me. Any ideas?

And now my phone wont connect to my pc properly it keeps dropping connection on the USB showing its there and then not and then there. Mot annoying
And ideally a full English keyboard
