Hi all,
Can anyone please advise which purchase (brand and website) of screen protector actually fits perfectly for our device please?
I'm in the UK, and have tried numerous versions from Amazon (via German sellers) but all of which have not fit our screen correctly (most of which to my surprise came & clearly have had 'Samsung Blaze' written on the packaging.)
Quite annoying.
I currently have a skinomi screen protector which thankfully came with the Carbon Fibre skin (http://www.skinomi.com/sk11880-samsung-galaxy-s-relay-4g-carbon-fiber-skin-protector.html).
But it now needs replacing, would prefer a screen protector only rather then a full skinomi purchase (I know I can purchase the screen protector by itself from skinomi, but would like to know your thoughts and experiences on which purchase of screen protector you guys are preferring.)
Thanks in advance

they fit just fine
Hey all,
I've used one on my note 4 since day 1 and its been the best investment. Not a single scratch on my pretty and its unnoticeable. So far on amazon I see a bunch of small brands marketing theirs. Wanted to know if anyone had an experience with Sparin, ijoy etc. Maybe the consensus is to wait for Spigen, Steinheil and others to come with theirs? Please chime in.

Nothing has worked very well on the s7 edge. I gave up after dumping about 200$ into different brands.

There are really no good curved ones for the S7 Edge except one from China and that one seems to break very easily. Doubt it will be different for the note 7. I'll either go with a flat tempered glass that only protects the flat part of the screen or the IQ liquid shield. The IQ shield that I have on my S7E is okay but nowhere near as nice as a tempered glass protector.
I'm not sure if it was a Gorilla Glass 5 sample, but I swear I saw a Samsung branded tempered glass on a YouTube video (the ones made by the reviewers) from the day of the presentation.
Give a look when the camera rolls over the accessories on the tables on stage.
I'll check it out...thanks. if I can get a glass one I will have to rotate a bunch of skinomis and Chuck em at the orange peel phase.

I ordered that one since I use their tempered screen on my Samsung Tab S2 and have had no issues so far.
I have a follow up question on this... based on the S7 edge screen protector discussion it seems that even if a protector works it doesn't work with cases. Has anyone tried modifying the case like shaving off a little bit so it fits the screen protector? I have been wondering if that could be a way to make it work.

Good Luck. There is a big difference between a flat and curved tempered glass protector. Most of the flat glass protectors work well.

Yeap, I experienced this when I bought the S6 Edge and returned it due to no tempered glass working perfectly with the Edge to Edge display. I'm hoping things improved since the curve display has been out for a while and this has a slight curve to it.
I've always used tempered glass protectors since my S4. my dad has an S6 Edge and I bought a few different tempered glass protectors and they do not work properly at all. They usually all have an "edge" adhesive. Just a strip of glue around the edge of the device instead of the whole screen like flat screen devices.
For this phone I bought the Skinomi note 7 protector.

That's a shame. I bought the Skinomi HD Clear protector as well. Bummer that no one has risen to the occasion yet. I'd be willing to fork over $50 for a proper protector to not have to worry about what I mate my phone with in my pocket.

Are those films any good?you know the ones tat say that are used on helicopter blades.
I bought two curved glass from Amazon.
here is one https://www.amazon.com/Tempered-Pro..._SR160,160_&psc=1&refRID=Z343M09T5D72J2425XPP
If they don't work I am sending them it back for my money back. I think worse case I use the one without curves. I think the note 7 curves are at more of an angle so maybe it will not be that bad with the flat glass.
https://www.amazon.com/Protector-Te...&sr=8-1&keywords=note7+screen+protector+glass
Just played with the note 7 at the sprint store and they had a screen protector on it that only covered the flat part. Couldn't tell if it was glass or not but it definitely affected the use of the phone.

How did it affect it?
It made it hard to swipe from the edge for the edge apps. I guess not a complete deal breaker, but I would rather just go with a full coverage wet application.

I ordered a tempered glass protector from Xtremeguards. I used the Olympic90 code and got it for $1.60. Cant go wrong for 2 bucks shipped Haha.
Is Screen Protector Pre-installed on Note 20 Ultra Like it was on Note 10+?
I checked Demo Note 20 Ultra 5G in Costco and in Best buy and they both did not have screen protector on them.
Strang mine has it.. In thailand
My Note Ultra purchased from Samsung Italy has a screen protector.
I can confirm Exynos variant comes with screen protector pre-installed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bZ5LPjS6Xc
I read that US models do not come with pre installed screen protector

I've seen an unboxing of the Korean version that comes with a clear case and screen protection yes.
Unfortunately, not all European version come with the case.
France version only got the screen protector.
Kinda disappointed the one that was pre applied wasn't the same as the one on the Note 10Plus. Had a hold for the FPS.
It does not have screen protection as it is on Note10 +. It is just a wrapping foil because it has Gorilla Glass Victus which is very resistant to scratches.

How do you know that before we see the final retail packaging, as opposed to demo/review phones?

That's what Samsung thought this time, without screen protector. You buy it if you need it.

I think that is just a packaging protective foil. Factory placed screen protector is not so easy to remove.
The Note 10+ have a pre-installed screen protector, and I'm pretty sure i actually did see one during the Unpacked show.
All the unboxing videos I've seen so far looks like they've gone back to the flimsy film that you are SUPPOSED to remove. So I'm guessing no?
I never took them off my S10/Note10 devices last year until they looked bad. My S20 Ultra lost its after my six month old border collie puppy decided to carry it around in his mouth and put dents in it! At least the phone was unharmed. It was in a Pitaka case and that was perfectly flawless before and after.

There will still be scratches but it lessens it than it would in the previous generation
This reviewer mentions pre applied screen protector being on @2:15
https://youtu.be/oxCfX5aRXCM
My Note 20 Ultra has a pre-installed FULL screen protector (no cut on the finger print scanner area).
Mine has one, same as note 10 plus and S10 plus
My ATT N20 Ultra does not have a pre-installed screen protector based on my eyes. if it does, i can't see it nor feel it.
Not on the unlocked version. Just a film with tabs to remove.
Has anyone gotten a screen protector yet? As of today there are several choices. Just seeing if anyone has one and how much you like it.
amazon says Im getting mine today. tempered glass
I got the one below - Day 6, so far it seems good

I'm holding out for Spigen. I expect they will be available soon. Their auto-alignment installation kit makes it so much easier to put on. When they are available they will be on Amazon. Here is Spigen's product page for them (46mm):

The Spiglen are too small, CAVN ones are also too small (Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 46mm). They both leave 1-2 mm the whole way around the screen protector. (UK based)

Ref my post above, my watch is the 46mm Classic and the Kimilar screen protector leaves a gap also.
I got this from Amazon UK, happy with it, fits well, clear, not a fingerprint magnet, smooth to touch

I got this one on my GW4 LTE 44 mm and it works well. It DOES NOT have a suction cup or guide, but I put it on 99% dead center on the first try.

I believe there was a slight gap on my last Spigen one (on GW1). It was very slight and I did not have an issue with it. Doesn't there have to be a slight gap so it can be removed?
I'm looking for one from Amazon US that fits the 46mm Classic with minimal or non-existent border gap. The Amazon availability date for the majority protectors listed, pre-date the Watch 4 release date and some of the reviews mention a 1mm border gap.
I went with the Supershieldz screen protector. No guide and kind of a pain to get it on centered. It took 2 for me. It also has a small bubble literally at the edge of it that won't go away. NOT impressed...

Going to try something else I guess.
I am a klutz so I figured that I needed to something on my GW4C as soon as possible. Rather than waiting to all of the first hand reviews I just picked one that looked decent.
The one I picked was: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09BFD6MVN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It is solid rather than film, installation was easy, it passes my inspection. Touch is not degraded, and I feel much better that it is there than I did when it was not...
Another vote for the Suoman brand. Here is the link for the 42mm version

One note/negative is that these fit all the way to the edge, no gap for dirt to get trapped. I kind of mentioned it as a negative as at first I thought one of them was scratched near the edge. Ripped it off and put on a second one only to find out it was just that it wasn't adhering near the edge. Had to rub and press hard for it to finally adhere. Now it looks stock, like there isn't even a protector on it. It came with 4 in the pack so still have 2 more in the event I ever need it but doubt it as my Gear 2 still has the original protector I put on long ago.

The reason for this is that there's a compatible case for the watch that you buy separately. I got the GW4 40mm Spigen Liquid Air case and the tempered glass screen protector and the two work together really well (the case takes a few days to get used to though)

So did anyone find a screen protector (glass or film) that covers the 44mm watch 4 (non-classic) edge to edge?
Would appreciate a link! Thank you!

I recently got got a watch 4 classic 46mm, and cant seem to find a screen protector for it without ordering online, which i want to avoid cuz shipping us more expensive then the protector. So are screen protectors for previous watches compatible with it (f.e. watch 3 45mm sp for watch4c 46mm cuz of the same screen size)?
TLDR:
Can i use a screen protector from previous gen watches if the screen size is the same?

Shure. It is pure circle. If diameter is same it shoud fit
