[Q] Help with SE X10 mini pro - General Questions and Answers

Hi all.
I need help on something guys, I'm trying to upgrade my X10 mini pro to 2.3 or better (I don't know if that's possible). Here are the specs of the cell:
Model: E10i
Firmware version: 2.1 update 1
Baseband version: M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404006
Kernel version: 2.6.29
Compilation number: 2.1.A.0.6
Now, I tried everything for upgrade to 2.3 version using CM 7 MiniCM-v15.0 and I can't. I used this post as guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14542817&postcount=2 and all is fine except for the 5th step, I can enter to xRecovery mode but the upgrade process fail.
After see some other threads I saw that this only work with the following:
Kernel-version: 2.6.29 I'm OK here.
Smallbandversion: M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015 here is the problem, my version is 53404006 and the required is 53404015.
How can I change that? Is the 2.3 my only option?

Never mind guys.
I found the answer myself. I will share the steps for upgrade the X10 mini pro with different firmware latter.

I have a problem again.
CM7 is running excellent, but the only things that doesn't work is the FMRadio. I tried installing the .apk but still not working.
Can somebody help me?

[Q] Advice on firmware/Modem *Flashed Results*

Firstly thanks to such a great community, v interesting stuff here.
I need some advice., I have flashed to the following and just need clarification it looks fine and have done the correct firmware/modem update.
Model: GT-I9100
Android Version: 2.3.4
Baseband Version: I9100XXKG6
Kernal Version: 2.6.35.11-ninphetamine-2.0.5+ninpo titan#20
Build Number: VillanROM 2.4.2
Also, before i did this flash i had a MASSIVE problem with battery draining, the phone wouldn't connect to PC. Bloody nightmare, anyone heard of this?
isn't there 2.3.5 for I9100 ?
If you had a massive problem before, does it still exist? I am confused that you had issues, flashed a new rom, issues gone and want to know why your old issues were there.
A) Because the earth is round
B) Question time at your house is ironic.
C) With all that info I didn't want to get too specific.

I dont think ICS is ported to Galaxy Y and neither do I expect that to happen in near future..

You need help on rooting?
I can help you on rooting. I have all the links and the method. (TOTALLY BRICK-SAFE) I have tried myself and done many times.. Tested on 5 devices, never bricked one. If I can post, here is the link - galaxyy.tk - the link can be found here - or here is email - [email protected] - mail me.

Flashing another ROM (actually not doing it properly) can brick your phone.. so be careful..
About ROM.. there is one stable ROM that I know of.. LMGTFY, Second link..

Hi Noob, I couldn't able to backup my stock ROM with Rom Manager, i'm getting following error while back up ROM.
"Can't mount/data!tmp/recovery.logwas copied to /sdcard/clockworkmod/recovery.logPlease open ROM Manager to report the issue"
Please tell me how to backup my Stock Rom properly.

you can find procedures and updates on custom roms from here ,
beleive me its helpful this site has taken galaxy y seriously now and check it periodically for updates

ICS FOR GALAXY Y is not possible as of now but you can ,make your phone better in the most possible ways with custom roms, applications from here
and also if you were for the looks of ics ,there are several custom roms that has the looks of ics , so you can get that from the same link too.

It has the following currently installed

Kernal version 2.6.39.4-cyanogenmod [email protected]#1
Cyanogenmod version 9-201201419-snapshot-wingray
Build number Imm76d
Any help would be appreciated please.

try this guide http://goo.gl/G09vP - but make sure you download the correct stock image for your device also you need android sdk installed on your desktop found here http://goo.gl/MqfvS and the xoom drivers found in the link above

But now I see there is a new version 1.3b, how do I update from current 1.1 to 1.3b? Please help, I need step by step guideline.
