Google stores user dictionary online? - General Questions and Answers

A very long word was accidentally saved in the gingerbread keyboard on another phone I had. It now is showing up in the asop keyboard's suggested words list on my new phone.... only I didn't save it on my new phone.
Why is this and how do I get rid of it? I tried apps that let you edit your dictionary, but they only find words I've saved on my new phone.... see screenshot.
This makes me think it must be stored online somewhere. Any suggestions?
EDIT: before anyone asks, in settings > language and keyboard > android keyboard there is no option to edit a dictionary. The app I downloaded from the market allowed me to edit a dictionary but "sullivanmewsnyc" does not appear in it as I never saved it on this device ( was saved on my other device) .

And no i do not spell my name and password wrong!
Someone know wtf is wrong?
Go to Settings > Applications > Manage and clear data for XDA and Tapatalk. Then either use a file explorer, or mount your phone to the computer in Mass Storage mode and delete the 'xdapretapatalk' and 'tapatalk' folders.
Then try again, that should clear whatever is causing the problem. I'd also recommend turing on visible passwords when you enter them, just so you can be sure
I suggest to spell your user name and password using the correct case - it seems that you were trying to log in as "burn2hell" instead of "Burn2Hell".

Malware

A red border appears at the edges of my Samsung nexus s screen running ice scream sandwich when I do some operations like use Google search or compose an email or make selections could this be malware? I have run avast and lookout and the both return positive results but still am not satisfied by that because my phone did not do this a week ago. Any body know what this is and how to fix this?

Settings --> Apps --> Running --> List me everything that is there. Also, click on cached apps (or the memory bar) and list everything that is there too. Feel free to attempt closing some of these and see if it goes away.
Isn't that a setting in developer options?

Help with dictionary/auto correct of the word: don't

Not sure if I'm the only one with this issue, but whenever I want to write the word "don't" the auto correct always corrects to "DONT" by default.
It's done this on all my devices so far, no matter what. It's as if it's linked to maybe my google account or something as I cannot find it in any of the custom dictionary areas in the phone.
Does anyone have any ideas? It's quite frustrating and not sure where else to ask for help on this.

Since I can't delete my post, I happened to figure it out after I thought that it might be coming from another installed keyboard, so I went through them one by one until I found that I was able to remove the DONT from within Swiftkey and now on all the other keyboards it doesn't automatically show up anymore.
Problem solved!
Fail problem not solved.. The DONT came back under every keyboard but swiftkey.
Anyone have ideas?

[Q] What happened to the xda layout?

Hello fellow XDA members ,
I'm here to talk about something that might have affected a lot of us. Yes, that is indeed the XDA site layout (as mentioned in the title). The page system has disappeared and has been replaced by something which has made it incredibly hard to navigate and created an off-putting experience altogether.
I asked a few of my friends if they had the same issue and the said yes, which meant i wasn't alone. Their solution to this was to move to the XDA free app from the Google Play Store (which is a good app btw, great for mobile), but it didn't have the same feel to it compared to the PC/Mac experience.
So my questions are...
Is this a temporary change?
Is there a way to revert to the previous layout?
Heres a screenshot for those who have no clue about what I'm talking about.

Personal Dictionary issue..

Hi there people,
So here's the problem, if you go to "Settings -> Language & input -> Personal dictionary" you should be able to add works right? ...well not if you are in my case
A restore from a backup took place recently and it moved the personal dictionary "folders" with it. If I chance the language to English or anything else everything is fine but in my own language(Greek) I get a bit of this:
(top it says in Greek "Personal Dictionary" in case you didn't get it where I'm at )

"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then "All languages" ..don't remember creating this, "Greek" I created this in a different rom someday in the past and "zz" well that's latin characters so no need to explain it
So how do I delete all these three to have a "folderless" clean enviroment?
P.S. Can you add a dictionary in the personal dictionary(so you won't have to add words manually)?
Thanks in advance guys, hope someone would find me a way to get rid of the "folders"
