Just wondering, what ROM do YOU currently have running on your sexy Sensation?

Coredroid, ever since they started development on the Sensation. I have tried many others but always return to Coredroid.

I am currently running MIUI 1.12.9 over clocked to 1.7GHz. Since I like the layout of the menus and notification bar, but not the home screen, im running launcher pro as well

Using the DarkForest ICS ROM. The most stable ICS ROM for me. YOU can try that out

CoreDroid which is the best!!!

I'm on Hypersensation 1.6 with Zeam 3.1.3 launcher and I use FontChanger
to easy change fonts.
Simplistic, awesome and ... eh ... those two again and again and again

tried searching...best non sense gingerbread rom

I know there have been many threads about this, but for some reason my search is not pulling up any answers....
Just a simple question,
What is the best/most stable non sense/sense stripped Gingerbread rom?
Please note, Im not asking about CM7, ASOP, or ICS roms as I know none are 100%.
I dont know why my search is not pulling up related threads, so what is the most stable and fastest non sense gingerbread rom? I though I remember reading Virtusous was awesome, but I cant even find that...
Guessing something is wrong with the search so can you guys give me a few choices with the links?

I thought it had sense, is there a version with sense stripped out?

There have been a few mods that say you can turn the sense off, but I have never tried as I love my sense and actually won't use a rom now unless it has Sense 3.5 as I like the features of that sense rendition better than 3.0.

Funny, I went through a massive search today to find the best non-sense GB rom. Sadly, HyperNonSense GB is no more and has been replaced with the ICS version. Two others, Beastmod and Senseless Extreme are hosted on multiupload, and that goddamn website seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth.
That being said, I'm back on Virtuous Inquisition, which is great, but I don't want to use ICS until custom roms are based on an official release.

I started to try out different ROMs and the "Knowledgeable Ones" said, there is no best one to point out other than trying every ROM. Man it's soooo true ! The best one for me may not even suit you. I HAVE tried every GB ROM out there and settled with "SENSEAY ROM removing the sense with No-Sense script" keeping the essential parts of sense like lockscreen but making it super smooth & i think as the development of GB ROMs are complete, further upgrade or assistance is no more needed and that's why developers are giving their time for ICS. You can use the search button for whole week looking for best ROM, but i think it will only make you more confused . Start with a ROM u like (Use no-sense script if u wanna get rid of sense), if u like it more, make a nandroid backup & try another one. U have to be the one to decide the "BEST ROM"

Use ARHD 3.6.13 and use the No-sense script. It's very speedy and great battery life to boot!

it is not speedy.... i went from arhd (gb) to arhd (ics) to virtuous inquisition (ics) and the peformance difference is night and day.. arhd even with the no sense script is definitely laggy compared to AOSP

so your using the GB version of Virtuous Inquisition? I can only find the ICS version... can you link me to it?

MIUI 2.2.3!!!!!

Would prefer the Coredroid 3.3 GB really stable and fast/smooth interface has a lot of tweaks also, tried others keeps FC on some application, cant remember which app but mostly the sense. Goodluck. Now im on DF ICS and im keeping my Coredroid 3.3 backup just in case i want to revert back.

But will just stick to. CD for GB, Extreme and DF for ICS

Blitz 5 is rockin! And blitz 6 is on the horizon!!

ARHD 6.21 here, although I wish I'd stayed with 3.6.13. I'm not getting any FCs with 6.21, but after a few days everything slows down to a crawl, especially the browser. Not mike's fault, the base is buggy.

Still on Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread) + Sense UI 3.0 + Beats Audio.
Will wait for the stable release of ICS before i upgrade.

ARHD 3.6.13. I have tested ARHD 6.2.1, but too many bugs
I am willing to try new rom. I will wait couple of days to see what is result of this pool. Maybe InsertCoin?

I've tried all of the above ROM's over the past few weeks. But I'm back to ARHD 6.2.1 at the moment. I've installed the APM, Extended Quick Settings, and stock battery % mod. Pretty happy with it.
One day I might get round to flashing the no-sense script to get rid of some of the HTC junk.
I wasn't a big fan of Sense at first. But now it has grown on me. I'm just not a big fan of the AOSP look. Biggest gripe is the new ICS look functionality of the people app.

obviously insertcoin 4.5.4 the best out there

I've tried most, if not all. Every time I keep coming back to InsertCoin.

ARHD 6.2.1 is the best.
I have tried many but I returned back to my lovely ARHD the most stable with no bugs at least for me..
Shnizlon v.21.1 works perfectly with no errors.

Virtuous Inquisition is where is at. It feels like a refined AOSP ROM, feels complete. Is so elegant. It even has the sense camera.

There is no link for it because trip took it down. frankly you are mad to use it not a lot works and it is actually quite slow, I tried it for 1/2 an hour and was so glad to restore backup

I mean as close to Google released Ice Cream Sandwich as possible. Without any f..ed up Sense, that can't be even made good from HTC to ICS, or without useless htc apps. GB Sense was cool, but on ICS - is no more even fine.

Hi,
ARHD ROMS are as close to stock as possible.
There is an excellent guide HERE
And if you use ROM CLEANER as well,you will have the leanest ROM on the block.

virtuous Inquisition and hyper nonsense are the two most quoted roms free of sense. I have been using the first one and pretty happy with it.
The other option is to flash revolution from followed NY sense removal script nut in my experience it still contained elements of sense or HTC apps instead of google provided apps-

I second the notion.
If the stock look and feel with a bit more stability are your criteria then ARHD is your choice.
However if you want some more options, tweaks, and customized UI then explore some of the other sense ROMS.
If Sense is critical to you, avoid all AOKP AOSP and Cyanogen ROMS.

Don't be lazy and find it yourself.

I would recommend insert coin. It is so much faster tan ARHD in my opinion.

You should try a few! Currently on Frankinstine's JB aokp. Happy flashing!

Vipers 1.1.0 is quite good. I keep getting bored of Sense ROM's so I keep switching .

On my Sensation I prefer something light and fast. I currently using JB AOKP and trying out the JB MIUI as well. Try AOKP, MIUI, or AOSP builds as they make the Sensation a lot faster. If you want a Sense build ARHD and Baadnews are good. If you want Sense 4.0 then try ViperS rom.
After you try out a rom for a couple of days, then try out a Kernel. There are a few different options, depending if you do a AOSP or Sense base Rom.

I have used Virtuous Inquisition for a long time now. Not a single problem. Fast, Excellent battery life, and very stable.

I would also recommend ARHD.
You may also want to check out Virtuous Inquisition if you can do without Sense. I was running it for quite a few months and it was great. Long battery life and stable.
Check out a few and see what you like the most.

Viper S little slower compared to ARHD but tons of tweaks and Sense 4.0 (same battery as ARHD)

Hi there, you really need to try SEVERAL out for yourself because what might be right for someone else might not at all be what your looking for! Everyone has different opinions and its ALWAYS best to form YOUR own opinion. This is the fun part the experimentation! Please take my advice , read the change logs on the roms, if one catches your eye, try it! Make sure you do to your nandroid backups and shop around.we are fortunate to have so many available! Do your self a favor and try out many!

I purpose you bro, Mikro Sense 2.0.

I'm currently on the CM 10 Jelly Bean build by Bruce and I love how lite it is HOWEVER for a fully functional bug free ROM, ARHD has always been good to me. That or Open Sensation.
