I Have Had My Wildfire Since Last June Now and Im wanting My Wildfire Unlocked I am Currently Locked To Tmobile Network And Want To be Able To Use May Phone Freely With a Diffrent Sim.
Is There anyway To Unlock The Wildfire With out Buying An unlock code Also If anyone knows If TMobile Send Unlock Codes Could Someone Point Me in The right Direction Thanks.

i wanted to know what exactly carrier locked means. is just a lock which we can unlock/bypass with the help of forums? or is it something that only
a carrier company personel can do? i have a galaxy nexus which i bought unlocked. i want to get an htc one x but the unlocked version is far too expensive. if i get a carrier locked one x, can i unlock it with some thing like say wug's toolkit for the nexus? can i flash a stock unlocked rom or cyanogen mod on a carrier locked one x? please clarify this as its kindof killing me..

First I am noob so please bear with me and my English is poor too.
I have been googling and reading about "Unlock HTC Chacha" since 3 days. I have a HTC chacha which SIM LOCKED which requires some kind of pin number to use another Telecom Service. The phone is from HK vodaphone.
After going through [Unlock ] Official Unlock via HTCdev! Thread I unlock vie HTCDev. Now, my question is if I root my HTC chacha using Doomlord root kit and then and install CWN recovery for chacha will i be able to do use ANY sim on my SIM Locked HTC set ?

Unlocking the hboot and rooting you device will not unlock the phone for diferent sim cards
You will have to search google for a unlock code
